Pulling up Hero profiles, I begin reading up on them, doing my best to comment the thousands of profiles to memory, associating each one with an image if I can help it, trying to connect two similar things into a single item, doesn't help with just how
many there are, but any memorization is helpful.
Not much on actual weaknesses, if any that I can tell, but just knowing who they are and their powers is already vastly helpful, allows me to start plotting better against them… well assuming I can recognize them.
Gain +2 to recognizing any Hero in Aznatoth, if you do recognize them, gain a +7 with any plans regarding them.
As for Suppliers… well plenty of them around, a lot of them are already well connected with Calculator and I doubt they would pick just anyone either, really depending on what I want… I can find quite a few things worth my time.
Roll 3d8, got 5, 7, 2. Know the locations of Suppliers for Cars, Medicine, Weapons.
Slipping into the electrician's outfit I take a slow breath, trying to ease my nerves and Commander speaks.
"Listen Goth, you want to focus, just… act like you are an actual electrician, you can act right?"
"I… yeah, I can do that."
"Good, just put yourself into that role, immerse yourself in it, became an actual electrician, you just need to get to the fuse box."
Nodding my head, I get out of the van, grabbing my toolbox and heading towards the store, putting on a small medical mask and baseball cap with a company's name on it, I walk inside and towards one of the counters.
Charisma Roll [Persuasion] DC 25/50/75: Roll 1d100 got 87+15+8. Major Success! No one suspects a thing. +.3 towards Persuasion and Deception.
Walking up to the woman, I speak with a faked ill voice, throwing in a sniff for good measure.
"Excuse me, ma'am, here to check some electrical troubles, any chance you could let me into the back?"
She blinks at me for a second before nodding.
"Of course sir, come this way."
She opens the door for me and I just head towards the back, getting a look for a second, before I slide around the corner and towards the back, best to do this as fast as I can, remembering the plan, I glance making sure no one is watching before I quietly open the back door, where Sparky slips inside, a few seconds later I hear Commander shouting for everyone to sit down and be quiet and no one gets hurt, some people scream but I hear the sound of someone falling before Commander opens the door.
"Sparky, Goth, get people towards the front, if they don't listen, you know what to do."
Making Hostages listen to you DC 30[Intimidation]: Roll 1d100 got 53+8. Pass. +0.1 towards Intimidation.
"Alright, everyone to the front now! Otherwise, my friend here has no issue acting as a set of jumping cables!"
Sparky realizing I am just intimidating people, makes her hands spark, despite the fact I don't think she can do what I said.
As people move to the front, Commander just shouts towards the front.
"These safes are better than expected, I need more time!"
Shit. Ok, we haven't set off any alarms
yet which is a bonus.
Looking at Monk I look at him.
"You loot? Or me?"
Agility comparison 8 to 7. Monk.
"I got this, just keep an eye out."
He begins going around with duffel bags and begins unlocking them with a set of keys to not trigger any alarms that likely exist, and rapidly grabbing them and filling the bags, with how much jewelry there is, he will be busy for a few minutes.
Perception check DC 40/80: Roll 1d100 got 79+6. Success on both. Unlock Awareness stat.
I see two people trying to be sneaky with some sort of watch, and a worker slowly trying to inch towards the counter, whispering in Sparky's ear she goes towards the two with the watch, likely electronic, as I head towards the worker.
"Trying to be sneaky huh? Do I need to make an example of you?"
Intimidation check 30/50: Roll 1d100 got 52+6. Success on both. +0.2 towards Intimidation.
The man looks like a deer frozen in headlights as he sweats like mad, I shove him over towards the other hostages.
"Get over there before I get the bat and aim for your kneecaps!"
He scurries over as I hear a male scream from where Sparky is, looking over I see her prying off a now smoking watch out of one guy's hands.
Tossing it onto the ground she stomps down hard shattering it beneath her heel as Commander shouts.
"One down people!"
Luck Roll Need 9/30: Roll 1d100 got 2+6.
As we manage the front, the doors are kicked open, as a hero walks in wearing a trench coat and carrying a knife in each hand.
Recognize this hero? Need 90 [Intelligence check]: Roll 1d100 got 98+8+2. Success.
Wait… I recognize this guy, he calls himself Slasher, a low ranking Hero whose power is to inflict two slashes with each blow he lands on something, other than that, he is a regular guy not counting an adrenal boost implant on his spine that increases his attributes for 30 seconds before the drawback hits him.
I just shout out knowing stealth is out the window.
"It is Slasher! Whatever he slices it cuts twice instead of once regular guy not counting his adrenal implant!"
Monk takes out the baseball bat, while Sparky takes out a pair of brass knuckles, inside the toolbox, there are some screwdrivers, pliers and a claw hammer not counting a few electrician tools.
I hear Commander shout towards us.
"I got what we need! Can you take him?!"
