The QM, Miho, as The Bearer of the Third

And More!
I died. It was pure and simple. I had simply stepped out onto the street, and then a truck ran the red light, pulverizing my body in but a moment. I was barely aware of anything other than the pain shooting through my body, though I managed to get one last, cohesive train of thought.
Heh, I mused, even as my consciousness faded, I guess my dreams weren't meant to be. Oh Lord, if you are listening, please let me be reborn in a body I do not hate. Please let my family's mourning be as painless as possible. And please, for the love you have for all of us, give me a second chance…
Then, everything went white, my soul passing from my mortal coil...
Then, I was awake, standing on the grounds of a Buddhist temple, gasping for breath as I awoke, a familiar summoning circle laid out before me. I was in an unfamiliar body, one that was not my own. [] Male [] Female [] Androgynous
After taking a moment to get used to the new body, I immediately honed in on the summoning circle I had spotted earlier, and gulped.
I almost immediately recognizing the iconic circle, that of Fate/Stay Night's and the wider Nasuverse's servant summoning circle. As I made to back away from the circle, something called out to me,
You, Alex Lee, shall summon the Servant Caster. Do not disappoint me, for I am the one who has given you this second chance.
I started, the voice, filled with incomprehensible power assaulting my mind. It was impossible to comprehend. It was beyond anything I could comprehend.
"Who are you…" I asked, wonder filling my voice.
Who I am is of no consequence. Once more, I command you. Summon the Servant Caster. Your Catalyst has already been placed, and all you must do is summon the one who will do battle for you.

With trepidation filling my very soul, I began to chant, the aria filling my mind, a gift from my "patron" perhaps? It mattered not, especially since I was being forced to partake in the aptly named "Murder Death Kill."
Silver and steel to the origin. Soul and the archduke of contracts to the cornerstone.
The ancestor is my great patron.
The alighted wind becomes a wall. The gates in the four directions close, coming from the crown, the three-forked road that leads to the kingdom circulate.

Shut (fill).
Shut (fill).
Shut (fill).

Repeat every five times.
Simply, shatter once filled.
――――I announce.
Your self is under me, my fate (doom) is in your sword.
In accordance with the approach of the Holy Grail, if you abide by this feeling, this reason, then answer.
Here is my oath. I am the one who becomes all the good of the world of the dead, I am the one who lays out all the evil of the world of the dead.
You, seven heavens clad in three words of power, arrive from the ring of deterrence, O keeper of the balance ―――!"
The light was blinding, and I could feel the power of the spirit being called forth, roiling off of the circle like waves. Then finally, the ritual completed, and before me stood…

It was over, at long last.
I stood before the Holy Grail, my servant standing by my side, the defeated bodies of Illyasviel von Einzbern, Shirou Emiya, and Rin Tohsaka lying at my feet. They had done well, but ultimately, Saber, Archer, and Berserker had fallen before me and caster, though they remained alive, as I couldn't bring myself to kill them, not for simply standing in the way of my path to the []. My path to the reason I had been brought to this realm in the first place.
"Master, I take it my time has come?" My faithful companion, my hero, my savior, my friend, and my sacrifice asked, sadness staining their voice. It almost broke me to nod, the bond I had forged with them something I almost valued over the information I desperately craved. I had come clean the night before, spilling my very being before caster, and they had simply patted my head, telling me that it was alright and that they'd be more than willing to sacrifice their ephemeral life for my wish.
"Then, the time of parting has come, my master." Caster declared, before evaporating, their spiritual core ruptured by their own choice, their very essence flowing into the Fuyuki Grail.
Tears streaming down my eyes, and the judging eyes of three masters glaring at me, I spoke my wish to Justeaze.
"Open the path to the []."
Then, I comprehended everything and nothing. The Swirl of the Root was opened before me, and I could only hold it in awe. Then, as quickly as it had come, it was over. I could only sigh in disappointment, the information I was seeking too well hidden for me to find in the brief time I had had access to Akasha. Dejectedly staring at the grail, who's purpose was now complete, I comprehended a new power within myself, one that I both understood and did not at the same time. It was hard to explain. I had, after all, comprehended something that humanity was not intended to fully comprehend for year upon years in the future. That of the Nature of the Soul. That of "Heaven's Feel", or "Materialization of the Soul."
I screamed in frustration, slamming my bloodied hand against the barren ground of Mount Enzou, tears streaming from my eyes as I comprehended that I would never see my family again, not without the interference of the Kaleidoscope, something that I doubted would happen any time soon, especially with my status as a True Magician. Considering something for a moment, I came to a conclusion.
If I cannot save myself, then I shall save the others then, they did nothing but stand in my way, something that would not be considered a sin by any god.
I mused to myself, moving towards the prone body of Illyasviel, the poor girl almost expired, her soul leaving her body even now.
I grasped it, holding it tenderly, and blew life into it, ensuring that it would no longer expire. In fact, the soul never would expire, being powered by the very miracle I had brought into being. Taking her soul, I gently gave it a mortal avatar to interact with the world, modeling it after her current body, so as to not confuse the Einzbern when she woke up.
"W-what are you doing to Illya…" Shirou Emiya called out, his voice utterly broken. He had, after all, chosen Illya over his ideal, and even now, the lesser grail that was his older sister died, at least, that was what the Iron Wrought Magus saw.
"I am giving her soul a corporeal form, that of which to interact with the world. After all, I am now the Third Magician, something I think your Magus friend can explain to you in great detail.
Rin's gasp was quite amusing to me, in a grim way. Her frantic whispering to Shirou, not as much. It sucked how much Kiritsugu had screwed him over by not teaching him about the world of magic, something that I hoped Illya and Rin would beat into his head. He wouldn't survive long otherwise, especially not with his Unlimited Blade Works being unleashed. It had been a rather beautiful version of it too, the sight of which I would cherish till my last days. His oath to Illya hadn't been in vain, after all.
Refocusing on the task at hand, I put the final touches on Illya' new "body", then, when I was finally satisfied, I bid the Homunculus' soul to awaken, and Illyasviel awoke, looking rather angry at me.
Well shit. I guess handling her soul like that pissed her off. Sorry Illya, I'm just now really delving into the Soul. I'm not an expert in it like you are! Even if I am the Third…

Hello Everyone, and welcome to "Heaven's Feel", an Exploration into the Third True Magic. I've been wanting to do something like this for a while, where the QM is the Player, and the Questors are the Dungeon Master, so to speak. How this game works is simple. It's a CYOA, but you're the Omniscient overlord of the setting, while I, the QM, am the limited flesh bag of a human. Standard voting rules apply, and I hope you all have fun with this quest! Voting will likely close sometime tomorrow, and be aware that I have plans to eventually make all these choices relevant, including the ones that don't seem to be!
