Everyone keep in mind that Brandish is not the leader of New Wave, that'd be Lady Photon. Sure, Brandish can argue, but it's Lady Photon who makes the final decision.

And then you see them, their cloaks temporarily shorting out.
They clung to walls, or had taken up positions to surround your group. For a moment you even see two floating drones amongst them.
They were massive, more than twice the height of a normal person. Purple armour adorned their alien forms, an eye concealing helmet adorning their heads that left snarling maws exposed. A single blue gem or eye rested on their foreheads, glowing brightly.
You had never seen such creatures before, the claws and powerful limbs were unfamiliar to you. They weren't the same as the ones who had attacked K-2L, their hidden eyes weren't aflame with his presence.
But you still recognize them.
You recognize their cruelty, their hunger for flesh and blood. That naked ambition, their desire to rule over everything, everyone that has ever existed.
You realize in that moment they were the ones responsible for all of this. All the death, all the suffering.
You can never escape them, they had infested every moment of your life.
The monsters that had poisoned your mind.
The monsters who had torn your parents from you.
The others see them as well, turning to look at them and for a moment a silent stand-off ensues, both sides not reacting.
And then a shield surrounds the heroes, encasing them in a protective bubble.
"We're compromised." One of the figures hisses in its vile, twisted tongue as they reengage their cloaks. "Secure the half-breed. Kill the rest."
There are 15 in total, with two drones as support. All heroes are currently inside a protective shield projected by the Arbalest. Dragons Mech is currently rebooting from the Arbalest's defensive energy burst. Samus will receive a bonus to rolls the more aggressive she is.

This empire seeks to become the dominant force in the multiverse, and with their study of Parahumans they may be on the cusp of achieving this goal. Ruthless and amoral, the Pirates care little for the cost of their ambition. Only the results matter, and they take these very seriously.
No Pirate will allow themselves to be captured, fighting to the death or self-terminating, willingly or not.
Show them no mercy. For you will receive none from these monsters.
Morphology: Shadow Pirate
Pirate forces trained and equipped for stealth operations.
Originally thought to be an elite force it is now believed these Pirates belong to a religious sect that forgoes ranged weaponry. Their cloaking technology, while powerful, fails against most advance forms of detection gear. They are equipped with Det Packs and Warp Blades.
Mechanoid: Sentry Drone
Well-armed and armored security mecha.
Sentry Drones have limited intelligence, but do their assigned tasks well. Being machines, they are susceptible to electrical attacks. Armed with a high intensity laser and duel rapid fire energy cannons Pirate forces have started to integrate the normally prohibitively expensive machines into more combat operations. They've also equipped it with a cloaking device that renders the Sentry Drone invisible to most forms of detection. However a flaw in the system prevents them from hiding the thermal trail left by their engines. Their electronic warfare suite has been updated to scramble most forms of Thinker powers, as well as some forms of master control rendering both useless in (for example) long term precognition as well as direct combat. This EW suite is so powerful that it can even scramble suit visor functions if Samus gets too close, and can disrupt missile tracking.
Highly recommended to destroy these units first if encountered with other Pirate Forces.

Think about it, if events conspire for Scion to catch them messing around with the THINKER's CORPSE... and we can get someone (maybe Samus!?) to tell him that'd it'd be great to wipe them all out....
We can have another DESTROYER OF WORLDS on their case!
