[X]Tea with Slughorn:

Horace was sitting on his sofa, using his spoon to mix his tea and sugar. His complexion was looking unhealthy and he had bags under his eyes

"Sorry for my lack of availability but something happened that required my immediate attention."

In front of him, Dace was drinking from his cup.

"I'm going to need more information than that to understand the situation, Horace." He answered lightly, before sipping once again as Martha was, as was usual, latching onto his arm like a limplet.
Perception and Empathy checks passed by ally.
The older man adopted a strange expression, that Julian told him was one of inner conflict due to divided loyalties, before nodding in defeat.

"The attack on Malfoy Manor had two goals. First was to secure Lucius for their cause, and the other was to get a specific item in his possession. Most likely, he didn't even know what it was." His face twisted, yet again, regret mixed with shame. " The key to You-Know-Who's immortality."

"A Horcrux." Dace continued. Now, he wasn't the smartest when it came to people, but with the data Julian was feeding him through whispering spell and his own knowledge, the only reason why Dumbledore would get Horace's help on this would be...

"You were the one who taught the terrorist about them?" One could hear the raised eyebrow in his voice and Horace held himself back from flinching.

"He was a brilliant student." The retired teacher started, eyes clouded in reminiscence. "Excellent grades, no behavioral problems, seemingly stable, but most of all, charismatic. He knew he was destined for greatness, all of us knew, and he used it for all of its worth. Textbook, exemplary Slytherin, really. He came to me from time to times, and had questions about everything. Which is why I didn't immediately guess his motives for asking that question when he did." Horace closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. "Albus thinks he has seven horcruxes in total."

Dace's lips pursed.

Seven horcruxes. This is troubling news indeed. In the end, he couldn't begrudge Horace for taking responsibility and dealing with the situation he partially caused.

Does Dace get involved with the Horcrux situation?
[] No, this isn't his responsibility and he has enough on his plate right now
[] Yes, he doesn't trust them not to mess it up [Military action will be taken this turn]

[X]Elementary, my dear
[X]Chaos, chaos everywhere
[X]A special kind of crystal

Agatha and him spent the whole month pouting over maks and archives to try and make heads or tails of what was happening, with Oliver's passive-agressive, yet helpful input. Julian tried to get the other man to open up, but it seems that if anything, he was even more put off by the ogling. It seemed Dace wouldn't have to worry about Julian trying to seduce his wife.

In any case, the data acquired was well worth the effort.

To be more precise, they could now predict where and when the elemental crystals would appear, something that was becoming necessary, because if they weren't harvested to allow for a surplus energy discharge, the imbalance would cause massive destruction, such as Ireland sinking under the sea, random fires burning Scotland to the ground, Wales being swallowed by the earth, of England being ground to the ground by uncontrollable winds.

The elemental nexuses were supposed to be stable though, according to the carefully recorded data, and it was Oliver who pointed out a giant red dome had swallowed the isles in their entirety, the emitted energy being swallowed by the nexuses, causing a surplus of energy. After more calculations, the center fo that dome was located near the middle of England. Oliver commented offhandedly that the Overlord's base was in the nearby underground cavern system.

On one of the locations Dace was considering to settle on for his base.

He really needed to have a talk about information sharing with Oliver.

[X] Scour the area
[X]Survey the land.

Urie was sighing once again, cursing the roll of the dice of Fate that led him to where he was right now. Following the trail to the place was easy enough, but when he looked at the mountain, his eyes began to hurt. The whole space looked like a cubist's fever dream. He then decided to give up and found a tree to nap on.

Sharon gave him a flat stare, grey eyes shining behind her brown curls, but relented when the man lowered a hand towards her, helping her to climb up to his position. For all of her faults, which were numerous, Urie mused, she did understand that naps were sacred.

It all went fine and dandy, and the tree was blessedly squirrel free, when the sound of hooves hitting the ground woke him up. He then saw a hooded figure, female, riding what had to be a unicorn. It lookes like a horse, only thinner, with a silver horn and silver hooves.

The creature stomped on the ground and began neighing, before its horn began glowing slightly, caysing a thin silvery wave to ripple over the barrier. It then advanced and broke through, both rider and mount disappearing from view by going through.

Urie and Sharon looked at eachother for a moment, before staring more, the gears in their brains moving as the corners of the silvery circle began wobbling.

If he waited any longer, the portal would close, and he'd fail the mission. If he failed, Sharon would be unsufferable. Even worse, Martha would get on his case. In the end, Sharon herself took the decision making within her hands and jumped down, dragging him through the portal.

Also, unicorns are dangerous, so there's a chance he'd die if he got caught.

The tunnels were strange and overrun with vegetation, the map he was provided with was useless, and he was fairly sure he was lost. Still, he arrived to what Dace described as the ruins of the Rampart. It did look like the castle did before it was converted to a swamp. According to Dace's notes, there was one place they didn't have time to check, and it was the forest. It was dark, and there were whispers coming from it, looked delightfully dangerous, so of course he went ahead to explore the place while sharon was looking around, ready for a fight.

It was eerily quiet, the whispers having disapppeared, and the light didn't manage to go through the foliage.

Their footsteps echoed slightly, the atmosphere feeling oppressing, until a flash of silvery light in the corner of his eye got his attention. There, staring at them without moving, was a moon doe.

Urie stared. Sharon's mouth opened.

The beast stared some more.

Then, an echo of a neigh made the doe turn her head and run away, moving swiftly and easily through the trees.

Urie decided it would be too troublesome to try and recapture them for the boss and continued on his travel despite his companion's protests, which was very short, because he found more ruins. It looked quite a lot like the homestead, except it seemed it used to be in the air, against the tree's bark.

He approached, wondering how the wood hasn't rotten yet, and inspected the place. The empty patches among the dust indicated that it had been cleaned up recently, however, there were a few things he found that could be of use.

Usable wooden planks, old weapons and armor, one or two old schematics, yellowed by time and half destroyed, a strange parchment and, hidden inside of a tree, in a cache Sharon found that needed Nature magic to open, a bow, that seemed more powerful that the other ones they'd found, albeit it still felt incomplete.

They had just finished cleaning up the place, when he could feel somebody behind him. It was the unicorn and its rider.

"It looks like we have found some rats." The androgynous voice rang, the humanoid figure almost eerily still. Behind them, a flock of unicorns and does appeared, emitting a soft silver glow. The unicorns were already preparing to attack, scratching the ground with their hooves as they lowered their heads, horns pointing at the druid.
Urie just looked, his heart fluttering.

Was this the time? Finally?

For once, he felt happy!

"Interesting creatures you have there" Sharon noted, her voice deceptively calm. " Gonna try to eliminate competition?"

Then, the figure laughed.

"You are more useful to us alive." They produced the same bow Urie was holding, only for him to realize he lost his. " Take it as our thanks for finding this one for us. The boss was right about the place not being fully cleaned out, even after the sweeps. You can keep the parchment though."

Urie wanted to point out that he did not, in fact, find the bow for them, but he was so disappointed he could not summon the strength to protest.

"Are you sure your 'boss' would want you to antagonize us? I mean, we could be allied! We have the same means and philosophy! With all that's going on around there, neither of us can afford any more enemies!"

This elicited another laugh from the hooded figure.

"Our means and philosophies couldn't be any more different, little girl. Still, I will respect your idealism. Do try to hold onto it when your darkest hour comes upon you." They threw the bow onto the pile of items in a nearby cart

Bow of Elven Cherrywood lost!

The rider was kind enough to lead him to the exit of the place, and he noticed that some of the unicorns were dragging carts full of items too. Staves, parchments, a few shiny baubles, green and gold dragonscales, several obviously magical weapons and armor, but the most obvious was a shield. It was covered in green dragonscales, with a golden border and a giant ruby embedded in its middle. Another one was a golden square, surrounded by more golden squares, that seemed to eat up the darknesss and emit light instead.

The figure noticed Urie looking at the carts full of loot and laughed.

"It seems the previous explorers did not have time to finish, probably because of the battle that took place underground. Do not worry, I took care of the remaining undead, both in the caves and the area, so it is unlikely that you will be attacked from the East. I would very much worry about your Southern flank, though." The figure's uncovered mouth twisted in a knowing smile. " As for who we are and our objectives, you may call us the Renegades, we are the ones who learned from your mistakes and strive not to repeat them. Our concern does not particularly lie with the current situation, however, we are not opposed to taking action should it become necessary."

They raised their hand, an indigo book tucked under their other arm glowing and the air rippled, a similarly colored portal opening. The unicorns and does entered it when the figure snapped their fingers. A slight breeze pressing the cloak against their body revealing a slender, androgynous frame.

From where he was, he could see plains, forests and rolling hills, and on the top of it, a solid Rampart. But not much of anything else, a small settlement, not even worthy of being called a village, and that was it. Though, plants were growing, small trees appearing here and there and the wildlife flourishing. Urie idly noticed the place had lots of hawks and owls, and he could see a wildcat staring at thim from its perch on a thin branch. All of them were notorious squirrel predators. The color of the grass revealed that the 'Renegades' hadn't even linked up Nature and the Rampart yet, meaning they were likely very new. In fact, he could even see little people with wooden hammers and pickaxes building some sort of structure within a nearby hill.

"Indeed, we finished building it this year." the figure commented nonchalantly. "Not like it matters, since the other factions are unaware of our existence." They stopped for a moment. " No, that is not quite exact. Another group knows of us, as we know of them, but it is unlikely you will ever get the zealots to talk."

"Then why are you telling me that? I'm going to tell my boss about it, you know?" Urie stated, making the figure to turn towards him fully, before Sharon could tell him to shut up and not antagonize the person who has them prisoner.

"We're counting on it." They said gleefully. "There are three kinds of reactions your boss can have, and all three will be to our benefit."

Urie felt an immense tiredness invaded him. He hated dealing with chessmasters.

"This souns awfully arrogant." Sharon muttered darkly.

"We will see you people again next year. " The figure ignored the young woman, squeezed their mount's flanks ant they galloped through the portal, that collapsed after them.

He also hated showy people. Nevertheless, they trudged through the exit, the barrier feeling like pudding and snapping closed behind them. When they got back to the castle, people looked at them like they were ghosts, and they got led to a small room where they were interrogated, then brought up to speed.

It seemed they disappeared for the entire year and missed all of the action.

[X]Sneaking training with Chibi

When Dace entered his granddaughter's bedroom, he knew something was off. The situation looked normal enough, the little girl wearing a sparkly, frilly abomination of a dress and posing while her pets were looking at the scene and Oliver was taking photographs.

Her bedroom was different from what he remembered it to be. The naked stone with mana veins had been covered by plaster, then by a gradient of sky blue and pastel pink wall paper, with clouds painted over it. The floor was covered with a wery thick, deep purple carpet, and shelves upon shelves, were covered with books and toys, that he didn't remember buying her. On the side, her pet tiger cub, called Mister Fluffles, was having fun riding a wooden horse while the baby unicorn was laying on the ground, leisurely eating apples and watching the spectacle, its pure golden coat and stubby horn catching the light and making it look like a giant, living sculpture. Then, Hassan was sitting behind Oliver and howling each time Oliver encouraged this granddaughter.

Yes, the scene was quite bizarre.

Dace cleared his throat to get their attention. Playing around didn't help to develop appropriate skills after all, and she sorely needed the help. She'd play around when she didn't alert half of the castle when she was trying to be discrete.

The reaction was immediate. The little girl squeaked in panic and immediately jumped off the bed that was her improvised scene and touched down on the ground and ran to her closet to change while Oliver jumped to his feet.

"Oh for f- Boss, what did I tell you about going off on your o- Oh, hello there Oliver, long time no see~" His muscular assistant, Julian, had arrived, looking harried, before immediately switching tracks.

"Julian. Dace." The half Australian spat out, his agitation causing all of the animals in the room to take aggressive postures.
"Now now, don't scowl so much or you'll become an old man, and wouldn't that be a crime~" Julian exaggerately batted his eyelashes, his voice almost in a falsetto as he behaved like an overly muscled parody of a blushing maiden.

Oliver had a visible, full body shiver at that remark and Hassan whined.

"More seriously though, sorry about that." Julian pointed at Dace, his behavior becoming 'normal' again. "Didn't know you had some fabulous bonding time with the little one, though, you ought to bring her to me from time to time, so that she learns how to use her assets to the maximum like I do!" The man puffed up proudly, earning himself a flat stare.

"I don't think I ever want her to be spoken in the same sentence as 'assets'."

Julian nodded sagely, bold posture melting into something more thoughtful.

"I figured. You got schooling figured out yet? I don't thing the classicals are going to cut it for her, considering the amount of chaos her mother caused by simply existing."

Oliver relaxed a bit.

"Yeah, I've contacted Maman and she told me there were a few other halfs running around with similar problems, so they set up a family school, of sorts. Push come to shove, she'll want to meet her, but it should be okay. Aura's legit."

The closed door creaked open, the girl peeking though the crack cautiously, before going out silently, wearing much more sober and sensible clothing, and half hiding behind Oliver.

Julian almost seemed to shring and crouched, looking less threatening.

"Why hello there princess, may I ask what you were doing?"

Scathach just looked at him, taking in his appearence, before she began squeezing Oliver's leg and staring harshly.

"It won't work on me."

Julian's grin became slightly fixed, before he shook his head and smiled wrily.

"No, I suppose it won't."

She nodded haughitly, before continuing.

"I am, however, open to bribery."

He snorted, then guffawed, before rolling onto his back and laughing madly.
Well, not to ruin such a heartwarming moment or anything, but I'm on a schedule right now, so off you pop. Nothing personal, squirt.
The atmosphere finally relaxed, then Dace blacked out. When he finally came back to himself, he was on the ground, his nose broken, and Julian was desperately holding back Oliver who was looking hell bent on trying to strangle him.

His granddaughter and the animals were nowhere to be seen.

"Ollie, no, murder isn't the answer, no matter how much you think it's warranted!" His voice was strained from the effort and Dace could see fire befinning to form on the hybrid's hands.

"It seems I had another episode." He stated, getting the attention of both men, causing Oliver to stop struggling, before Julian let him go. Oliver just looked at Dace, his usually open face expressionless, and vibrant green eyes boring holes into his skull. A faint air of danger came from him and chills began to creep up his spine. Then it stopped and Oliver ran out, not even sparing him a parting glance.

Julian sat on the bed, arms and legs crossed and looking at Dace.

"Now, I heard the rumors, but it seems reality is stranger than fiction."

Dace put his wand on his nose and it snapped back into place with a wet pop.

"What have I done now?"

"Well, besides cranking up the creep-o-meter to the maximum, you kinda tried to take her away by force and ended up hurting her, then papa bear intervened and the animals went crazy. Next thing I know, you start speaking in tongues, which makes Ollie go ballistic, and I'm trying to keep the guy from killing you. And let me tell you, as awesome as I am, Ollie's strong."

Well, that was worrying.

What was more worrying was that Martha ran into the room, shouting about Elizabeth being taken hostage at the Ministry by someone who said they wanted to meet face to face with Dace, and that they'd kill her if he doesn't come.

What does Dace do?

Interrogation (noncanon) +6
Dace sat in a chair in front of a table. In front of him sat Urie Blake. They where a square little room. It was located deep inside his mansion, and was warded against all sorts spells that dealt with espionage and scrying. As per usual he had separated the two he had sent out on a mission to tell if their stories matched up. Usually he would have assumed they had gone an joy trip, or gone on a trip for self discovery in the mountains. Somehow, with this man he doubted that would be the case.

Urie Blake, 25 years old. Long black curly hair, a sharp nose, and a glare that stated how much he didn't want to be hear. Almost one year had gone by since he had last seen him, and he didn't look a day older. That should have proven his word, but then again. He hadn't aged a day since Martha had defeated Riddle in the attack 3 years ago, a battle only he, Oliver, and Martha survived. One of the side effects of the Grail.

His partner during his vacation, he looked at his paper, someone named "Sharon". She hadn't been present during the attack due to breaking up with him? and had returned soon after, and had also stopped aging, somehow. Much had been lost during the dark ages of paperwork. Information about his employees, which could have been very useful, gone.

"People thought you where dead" He stated
"I wish I was dead" Urie mumbled back.

and he hadn't changed in the slightest either. He had returned, and after having a talk with Sharon, he had found out they had come back with plans for an Elven building, a document for teaching a spell, and chain mails and bows of decent quality for said elves. The most interesting news where that of this new nature faction, and how they had taken his Does.

Petty it might, but when they revealed themselves he would enjoy bringing them to court. Theft, abduction, and murder.

Squirrel AAR (canon) +10
Squirrel AAR

Several squirrel agents gathered at a secret location somewhere in England. Supposedly, it was to discuss infiltration techniques on the various organizations of Great Britain. But in reality, it just an excuse to drink butterbeer and swap stories.

At the moment, Chip regaled his audience about an adventure he had in the mountains of Wales. He spun a tale about being chased around the fortress by the terminator lady, a pack of wolves, and a cat. When he paused to take a sip of his butterbeer, one of his companions jumped in.

"It's been much easier for me up in Scotland. The guy we're supposed to spy on, he just lets me into the castle and get this." Lion leaned forward, "He feeds me muggle candy." The other squirrels nodded appreciatively, getting paid twice was good business. "I have to be careful though, there's a couple cats I have to watch out for, and the old guy'sh pretty good at giving me the slip whenever something comes up. Sometimes, I could even shwear he understands me."

Milly laughed, "Lion, you were just telling me the other night about all the giant spiders and centaurs you have to dodge! My assignment is way better! The muggles never suspect that a small animal could be dangerous. Bribing the ratsh to do all the work is so easshy!"

Across the room, a squirrel with an eyepatch and an acorn full of firewhisky glared at the rambunctious youngsters. "Fools," He muttered, "Spying's not for fun and games. None of them would last a single minute out in Cornwall."

Turn 7 : Autumn 1987 (2)
Turn 7 : Autumn 1987 (2)

[X] Go.

As he sat on the plush ground, Dace thought fast.

There were few people with the means to pull off something like taking the Ministry hostage, and the Death Eaters had been delt with en masse by himself. Therefore, it was most likely either an agent of Death or Chaos that took Elizabteh hostage.

Among them, there were two people that had the ability and wull to do it. One was the Overlord, the other, Aimée, and considering what he knew of their personalities, it was most likely Aimée's action here.

The main question, however, was why.

It couldn't be because she wanted to kill him, Riddle's impractical directive still being at work, and it was doubtful she'd try to take control of him in front of that many witnesses. He was on a time limit here, the message Martha passed along made it clear. Pinching his lips, he decided to break down the problem to its components, assuming Aimée was, indeed, the one behing this.

Aimée wants him at the Ministry.
The Ministry is currently held hostage bu undeads and therefore in an information blackout.
Aimée is a member of the Death faction.
Death faction has two heroes.

Those were the facts he knew for certain.

Aimée wants him at the Ministry.
Ministry meant away from home.
Him at the Ministry in the current circumstances means him cut off from his information network.
Him without information leaves him unable to act correctly, it's been proven repeatedly the last years.

Therefore, by wanting him at the Ministry, Aimée most likely wanted to neutralize him, or at least, his ability to react.

Attacking the Ministry was a bold move, and using Elizabeth even more so, which means that Aimée's plan is important enough to warrant the risks involved in that kind of distraction.

He sighed.

He was missing something.

Dace decided to think of the situation from another angle.

From Martha's reports, the situation in Orkney was tenuous at best, for both sides. The only thing keeping the old goat in check was his lack of appropriate ranged firepower. There was a real possibility this was a move to distract or attack Dumbledore.

After all, this 'Shirley' humiliated Martha, there was little to no chances that Aimée wouldn't use a fighter that good to carry out a mission while everyone's eyes were on her instead.

Them winning in Orkney once more was not only unpalatable, but dangerous, if the deadlands started to spread there too.

He got up.

It's not as if Aimée would accept him bringing an army, and he'd very much like his ex-wife alive if he could help it.

"Martha, tell Lily to take the army to Orkney, I have a feeling something's going to happen."

His wife's fists clenched on her dress, and she reluctanctly nodded.

Choose your army for the Orkney expedition :

He used his wand to make the blood disappear as he walked through the fire and took in the scenery. People were huddled next to the wooden walls, herded by zombies. The creatures had their jaws open and teeth against the people's skins. One command, or spell, in his case, would have them bite down on the hostages before their death. The hallways were gloomy, the light having been dimmed and, on an improvised podium, was aimée, sitting on a throne while Elisabeth was on the ground next to her, arms crossed and looking more annoyed than frightened.

"Dace, finally you are here!" The undead woman called out exuberantly, in a fake friendly manner.

"So it would seem." He answered stiffly, expressing clearly he'd rather be somewhere else, doing something else.

"Now now, don't looks so angry, I know we didn't meet in the best of circumstances, but I was really looking forward to meeting you again, you know~?" She cooed, batting her eyelashes exaggeratedly, before her expression turned impish. " Still, I'm glad you're willing to play ball, it wouls have been a shame if I had to kill everyone here~"

He didn't need to think hard to notice people around them were panicking, even if they were unwilling to say anything. Aimée's head tilted as she snapped her fingers, invisible chains shimmering into existence all over Elizabeth before disintegrating, allowing the woman to get away from her under the undead's considering gaze.

"At the same time, it's a shame, imagine the things we could do together with your influence, Lizzie." She sneered.

"I respectfully decline the offer." The human immediately snapped, causing her hands to fly to her heart in a fake wounded expression.

"My, between you and Shirley, I would have to start watching my back for sure~"

Dace felt his annoyance rise.

"I'm here, taking part in whatever distraction you've planned, so please spare me the banter if you don't intend to say anything constructive, vampire."

Aimée's grin widened, revealing sharp white teeth.

"My, someone's got some bite today~" Though, she thankfully didn't say anything more, looking at her watch. " I'd go near this wall if I were you~"

Dace grabbed Elizabeth and obliged, and they all sat in a tense silence for an hour.

Then everything around them exploded, and Dace was glad he already was on the ground. Out of the hole in the wall emerged Shirley, an expression of self loathing on her face and a crying, chubby blond child under her arm. The boy was wriggling and struggling, golden spark emitted from his form.
Oh Apollo, you should have known better than choosing a child of Prophecy...
The child in question was Neville Longbottom, and he also looked more angry than panicked, and the words coming out from his mouth had Dace deeply concerned about what exactly Dumbledore has been teaching him.

Aimée jumped from her throne, snapping her fingers and causing Shirley and the child she was holding to disappear in a column of light, just as their pursuer appeared. Albus Dumbledore, who looked about to willingly commit genocide. He was wearing a silvery armor with purple cloth, his beard and hair were cut short and his glasses were nowhere to be seen. His frame looked a lot more muscular than it should, he was carrying a gigantic hammer, his skin had a golden sheen and his entire being was emitting golden light. His shining golden eyes scanned the room, before zeroing on Aimée.

"I would usually be more polite, but sadly, it seems that even at my age, I can run out of patience." Without any warning, he lifted his hammer and a black wave of energy washed through the people. Dace squinted, but his magic sense informed him it was a spell that allowed people to resist Death. Handy. Aimée snapped her fingers once more and ducked under the hammer's blow, before jumping back, away from another attack. Dumbledore had none of that, however, and opened his mouth.

Out of it came a powerful, angry roar laced with magic that caused the zombies to dissolve without even getting a chance to bite on their victims. That wiped the smirk off Aimée's face.

"Not even going to try to interrogate me? How rude~"

The older man had a bitter smile on his face.

"My dear, I already know where to find him. It is just a matter of eliminating resistance beforehand." And by the way he was behaving, it was pretty clear he wasn't talking about the piles of dust that used to be zombies.

"My, how ruthless~ Good thing I brought reinforcements~" Aimée snarked, raising a blue and a red envelope in each hand, before jumping back, levitating away from the fight as a torrent of flame entered the room from the hole, engulfing Dumbledore. When it ended, the man was unscathed, but was now staring at the figure coming out of the hole. Clad in spiky black armor, an army of brown and grey minions behind him.

The Overlord had arrived.

His helmeted head turned towards Aimée, who winked at him and threw him the red envelope, before pointing at Dumbledore and blowing him a kiss. The newly arrived faction leader then turned towards Dumbledore and raised his mace.

Indeed, Dace thought, this place was going to burn to the ground.

Aimée looked like she was about to run away, her face scrunched in concentration, when something stopped her cold. She then turned at Dace, looking surprised, bevore her lips slowly stretched into a mad grin.

"Oh Dace, I knew you weren't the best with people, but still, making little girls cry is a very bad thing, you naughty boy~"

At this moment, Dace knew what he was missing back then, and remember a detail.

His granddaughter was missing, and Shirley was teleported NorthWest of here.

Dace has enough time to take one action. Which one will it be?
(Due to having chosen the appropriate rumor, a new option was unlocked for Dace !)
[]Assist Dumbledore against Aimée and the Overlord
[]Evacuate ministry personnel.

I hope the first part isn't too annoying, I thought to include some of Dace's thought processes here.

Guess who's been doing some power levelling and doesn't have to worry about protecting his people anymore?
Also, had you chosen not to go, you'd have lost Ellie, but saved Chibi
Welp. At least thanks to Martha you've got spares?

Also, no Shirley to mess up your Orkney expedition!

Urie was signing, he was once again sent to do his job. The day had started so great too. He had been laying on the grass in the front of the mansion, watching the clouds, and he hoped one of the spires would fall off and impale him. That was until his boss had called out to him. He was in the rare mood of being possessed to a malevolent spirit of sorts, which sadly made him so much more demanding.

"Deathseeker, Stop sleeping in the shadows. Some of these pests has started worshiping the trees, yet again " he said in a tone reminding of a bossy and arrogant woman. "and don't bother trying to avoid it, get rid of them, and make sure decide to never appear her again, you know what is at stake"

As soon as he was finished speaking he walked towards the mansion, only eyeing him like he was a slab of rock, or something of equal importance before leaving. He slowly stood up and moved towards the eastern forest. The silly little threat his boss had spoken off was to curse him with "immortally". There was something in the "Death" of the current Dace that told him there was a chance it could happen, and there was something even he couldn't risk.

"This is such a pain"

He grumbled as he walked, maybe he would be lucky and the robbed cultists would kill him. He doubted that would happen.

He wasn't that lucky. This time one of the cultist had a weapon with him, and has he had opened his arms waiting for the sweet release of death, an Unicorn had run out from trees beside him and impaled the man before the dagger reached his heart. The men had fled, but a bear had attacked them, taking from them an arm and a leg. As he waited for the bear to pounce him, it had sniffed on him once before leaving the site.

As he where left with only the sight of crying adults begging for mercy and promises of never doing this again, he had a feeling someone was laughing at his expense.

Turn 7 : Autumn 1987 (3)
Turn 7 : Autumn 1987 (3)

The Overlord struck at Dumbledore, who sidestepped and swinged his hammer at his opponent, causing him to falter slightly. Capitalizing on this, the crusader hit once more, with more power, and the sound of metal hitting metal was deafening. There was also a slight cracking noise as part of the Overlord's armor broke.

Aimée, who had taken aim at him, let loose a jet of indigo light that splashed harmlessly against the armor. Dumbledore looked at her, eyes narrowed, and he emitted his own jet of light, golden, that hit the woman, who screamed. She caught fire like hay in summer, before a wave of ice spread around her, causing a cloud of steam to appear.

Dumbledore turned back, his metallic boots hitting the stone floor, and raised his hammer once more. The Overlord and him traded violent blows, until, after a particularly vicious hit of his hammer, he fell to the ground. The crusader was about to finish him, when a flurry of green and brown creatures jumped on him. They didn't manage to hurt him , but that wasn't the objective, as the Overlord used the distraction to limp away.

The leader of Life didn't agree with the plan and tried to pursue him, but more and more bodies threw themselves under his hammer. Then, his chagre simply died, and he turned towards Aimée, who had emerged feom the steam, looking mildly scorched. His hammer began glowing once more, to answer to Aimées uncharacteristically serious face.

Dace decided the best he could do, was to evacuate the civilians, because with the Overlord at a distance, and Aimée here, there would be a lot of collateral damage. The Welshman turned around and raised his wand do blow up the barred doors.

"We need to go!" He shouted over the sounds of fighting, signalling to the people to follow him, which they did, even though Elizabeth and him had to levitate a few people away, leading them to stay for longer than what safer. Which is how they got caught in the veritable sea fo fire coming from the battlefield further down the hallway.
Sigh, I wouldn't do that normally, but I did promise to that person...
However, strangely enough, a flash of light blue and indigo froze the flames. Dace decided not to waste a second and to run as fast as possible, Elizabeth in tow.
Must you keep meddling with my business?
The flames turned back to normal as they got out, only to be pushed to the ground as a massive explosion shook the enire the building. Then, out of the glame, a figure clad in black armor and riging an equally black horse jumped through the flames. Sitting behind the black Rider was Aimée, her hair in disarray, and an expression of cold fury on her face. Dace couldn't hear anything she was saying, but most likely this boded nothing good.
It's pretty hard not to when you play for both teams at once
"What was that, Gwallawg?" Carys Jones, current Welsh Minister or Magic glared daggers ar Dace, who was sitting up, thinking about investing into cushioning charms.
The rules forbid two gods to favor the same mortal, they never said anything about one goddess for several mortals~
"Crazy English people who forgot where the frontier was." He answered half heartedly, trying to make heads or tails of the situation. "Dumbledore was the one with the hammer, the other was the Overlord, apparently."
... You know? I thought I was joking when I called you a whore. You do realize there's going to be repercussions?
"The Overlord, as in, the person who destroyed Albion, collapsed the space-time channels and sunk Atlantis by summoning moutain sized monsters ? That Overlord?" Surprisingly enough, her voice became really high pitched.
Both of you shut up! I already have to be abstinent to keep that entire debacle from getting worse and you two are not helping!
"I'm fairly sure he's a successor. Slytherin really did a number on him..." He answered plainly, while the woman began screaming. His lips twitched.
Err... 'Dite? I think you should come and see that.
However, whatever good mood he gained dissipated when he came back home and learned that his granddaughter indeed disappeared as Aimée implied. Considering it's been hours, and the fact Aimée didn't make any demands, the chances of survival were minimal.
Oh for... Where is Andraste ?! She can deal with that!
If she indeed died, it would be troublesome, but he'd deal. He has spares, after all. Losing her would be less inconvenient than Elizabeth. Though, he refrained from saying it out loud, considering how devastated Elizabeth looked.
She's already busy with Ireland right now
In the meantime, he also received reports. Lily managed to break through Orkney, with the only losses being on Dumbledore's side, and several heirs have been mysteriously abducted, all of whom had exceptionnal skills. Considering the current trend, it was most likely that Aimée had them too.
What even is going on in Ireland?!
A chill that may or may not have anything to do with the coming winter ran through his spine.
Apparently, the Overlord decided to set up his new base in Desmond.
Whatever she wanted to do with the children, it was likely not good.
... Whyyyyyyyyy...

Does Dace try to rescue his Granddaughter (and the other kids)?
[]Yes
[]No

Meanwhile, in an empty plazza with a square, bone white rectangular stone lying on the floor, Aimée was walking, behind her, children, their eyes vacant, were following her. She signalled to the first to climb on the stone, which they did. The little black haired boy just laid there, unmoving.

The undead woman began waving her hand around, braces of metal sprouting from the ground and catching the stone, while small channels appeared within it, leading to a golden cauldron beneath it.

"Godric Potter, Chosen of Thor." She called out his name, raising her hand and revealing an athame, then, brought it down in a flash of sickly teal light.

The other children just stared in silence.

Yikes. Six turns of continued plotting coming to fruition here.
Chaos everywhere, even among the higher ups. Good to see some things don't change. Dumbeldore rolled very well, as you can see from the results. Which spooked people. Who are now hurrying their plans.
Poor 'Dite, she's the one trying to steer the ship now.
At least Cherry's gonna get sent to the timeout corner for her stunt

Lifequest Negaverse: Hot Pursuit (semi-canon) +30
Lifequest Negaverse: Hot pursuit (2)

Shirley sprints ahead of you holding the squirming boy under one arm. You use your hammer once again, and once again it misses*. In fact, it misses so badly that it destroys the wall of the Welsh ministry building. Hopefully no one was hurt by that. Shirley darts through the newly created door, and you rush after her into the Ministry building. As you burst into the room, Shirley and Neville disappear into a column of light. Teleportation. Not a disaster though, it is trivial for you to track Neville.

The other occupants of the ministry room, however, might cause you some delays. Civilian ministry workers were held in place by zombies, mere moments away from being bitten and suffering a horrible death. Your son and his ex-wife were sitting on the ground next to the workers. But the worst problem here was the woman seated in the center of the room, Aimee. Here to stall and gloat no doubt.

You scowl, "I would usually be more polite, but sadly, it seems that even at my age, I can run out of patience." Even as you speak, you raise your hammer and extend your protection against death and decay to everyone in the room. Not as good as actually whisking them to safety, but it would have to do for now. Aimee snaps her fingers to begin an attack, but you quickly disrupt her with two deft swings of your hammer. She dodges and jumps backward, scrambling to regain the range.

You let her. Opening your mouth, you roar with fury and infuse it with your own magic. The shockwave barely phases Aimee, but she wasn't your intended target now was she. All the zombies dissolve into dust without ever having a chance to harm even a single one of the civilians.

That move wipes the smirk off Aimee's face, "Not even going to interrogate me? How rude~"

You smile bitterly, "My dear, I already know where to find him. It is just a matter of eliminating resistance beforehand."

Once again that infernal smirk appears on her face, "My, how ruthless~ Good thing I brought reinforcements~" She pulls out a two envelopes, one red and one blue, and levitates further away from you. But before you could try to close the distance, a pillar of fire engulfs you. You blink in surprise. Did these reinforcements really think that fire would work on a companion of a phoenix? And even if it could, the enchantments on your cloak were quite potent indeed.

You turn, still engulfed in the flames, towards the hole you had entered from, secure in the knowledge that Aimee was not a personal threat to you. When the flames subsided you were confronted with the Overlord of Chaos surrounded by brown and grey minions. A dangerous opponent, but beatable, especially if you didn't have to worry about the civilians being hurt. Out of the corner of your eye you see Dace blast open the main door and rush out with Elizabeth and the ministry workers in tow. Good, he had the sense to get them to safety. Before you can start your attack on the Overlord, the red envelope was tossed to him. You nod in satisfaction. If he's being bribed to attack you, then he'll attempt to flee more readily. You can use that.

The Overlord swung his mace first, but you side step easily. And with two perfectly placed swings you're rewarded with a small crunching sound. You've already damaged his armour. Aimee tries to interfere with a jet of indigo light, which your enchantment shrugs off easily. You quickly fire back with a golden light that sets her ablaze. She'll survive it, of course. But this will give you enough time to defeat the Overlord. He fights well, but not well enough. With his armour crumbling, you smash him to the ground. His minions try to intervene and buy him enough time to recover but it's to no avail. You press forward, slaying dozens of minions when –

Something strikes you from behind and just for a split second your mind feels fuzzy like when Aimee

You shake off the compulsion, like a dog shaking off water, and turn towards her. Never again, you swore, and now she had crossed the line. You were going to end her.

"That, Aimee." You say calmly, oh so very calmly, "Was a mistake."

You leap across the room with a boom and catch Aimee across the shoulder with your hammer. She crashes down onto the ground and barely avoids your follow up swing. Scrambling backwards, she cries out "Help me!"

hmm, hmm~ I'd be happy to help, dear

You leap forward to end her, when a wave of black and white energy lashes out at you. You're sent flying into the wall and stare in consternation at the pulsing energy you can see inside her. What on earth is going on? And why aren't your limbs responding?

Ceridwen! What is the meaning of this? This interference will NOT go unpunished!

Oh, I'm sure you'll try. But even if you do, this will be totally worth it, right Ahriman? Ta, ta Athena, my master has an opportunity~.

The pulsing light spreads throughout her body and then she snaps her fingers. A black horse appears and she helps the overlord onto it. Then, mounting the horse herself, she rides out of the building. A minute after she leaves, your limbs start responding again. But the trail is cold, and even worse your tracking spell on Neville is gone.

Another blessed child to sacrifice. But HE can't do much with just one. Why would she cheat so blatantly for that?

Hours later reports come in with even worse news. Several other children Neville's age, notable for some unusual skills like Neville, are also missing. You fear the worst for all of them.

They have 7 sacrifices already!? This, is an utter catastrophe. If only I hadn't already intervened!

Do you rescue them?

[D] Yes (Locked due to character traits)
-[] Are there any allies you bring along to help?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I've got good news, better news, and catastrophic news. The good news is Dace got all the civilians to safety, including his ex. Even better, Slughorn cracked and told Dace about your Horcrux hunt and he didn't trust you two to do the job properly. Even though he fumbles his rolls almost as much as you do :D! So he sent Lily Evans with a crack team of elven sharpshooters to help out. The Death base in Orkney is destroyed thanks to him sending the perfect troops to shore up your lack of ranged units. On the other hand, your old ex has 7 blessed children under her control and she's already started sacrificing them for ultimate powwah! Instead of fumbling your roll to resist her mind control magic, you rolled really well and scared her into activating her desperation plan, which worked obviously. (Her rolls were BS let me tell you), If she finishes sacrificing the kids, she'll be almost unstoppable and the UK is going to pretty much go boom and that's not even mentioning what will happen to the rest of the world. Since you're kinda screwed, I'm going to throw you a couple bones.

1. Your great-granddaughter was one of the kidnapees. And her grandpa wants to rescue her. (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)

2. Ahriman & his girlfriend Ceridwen are keeping a very close eye on the ritual. That MP of yours isn't going to be very useful for the rescue attempt (I'd recommend you guys save it, it will be very useful if you fail). And as you can see in the invistext, Athena can't help you. The other gods are all unable to intervene as well, although they really wish they could.

3. Each person Aimee sacrifices will give her a powerful blessing and an automatic level up from her divine patrons. Because they're sickos that think human sacrifice is cool. Speed is of the essence.

4. Shirley is one of the victims and intended to be the last one. Aimee's mind controlling her of course, but if you break her free she won't be keen on being killed again. And since she's an adult, she's more capable of escaping under her own power than the other victims.

So, is Dumbledore enough of a badass great-grandpa to stop the ritual? The whole world hopes the answer is yes.

*fumble #1

AN: The quest keeps track of Dumbledore fumbling with the asterisks. Surprisingly he only fumbled once this whole update. And I'm claiming Lifequest has an MP, which of course the QM will offer to use in order to reset back to turn 0.

It was obvious that he'd try to save her, if only because it would be inconvenient for him on many levels, and to do that, he'd probably need some preparation. After all, one didn't storm an enemy's base without getting some kind of help.

He tried to be as fast as possible, and required his people to get their own contacts on board, and they came back with rather surprising results...

The biggest surprise, however, came as he was finishing his preparations to storm the Necropolis. An elven woman, looking awkward, came up to him and hesitantly began to speak.

"I saw a little girl this morning. She had long hair that flowed like gold and a dark blue dress filled with stars..." Whe woman squeezed a clothed bundle between her arms. " It was near the fountain, the one that makes gems appear, and she walked towards the cavern underneath the waterfall." A cavern under the waterfall? That was the first time he heard of it.

" I followed her, since she didn't seem to mean any harm, but when I came here, I saw she was waiting for me. She... She grabbed me by the neck and brought me down, her eyes were orbs of golden light and her hand felt like cold metal, and then she began to speak..." The elf shuddered.

"She said this place was at crossroads of some sorts, and there was a path of tears involved? I don't really remember what happened, it was very hazy, but when I came to, I was alone in the cavern, holding this. " She began unfolding the blanket.

" And I felt... Different." The cloth fell completely, revealing a sword, with a silver blade and a golden guard, and she looked up at Dace, causing him to notice the differences.

Her shoulder length hair had gained a silvery sheen, while her eyes became pale, the slits leaving place to rounded irises and her face lost its excessively angular appearence. The elf's build changed radically, shoulders shrunk and hips widened, making her look more like a human and less like a stretched band.

"What's your name?" Dace asked neutrally, his mind coming up with ways to use this new information.

"I-Innil... Sir." She looked distinctively uncomfortable under the scrutiny.

Time is a'ticking...
So, I did a thing, since some people were confused with what was going on.

Believe it or not, this is over 3000 words. Thank the gods the wiki had an item list ready.

As for what's up with Innil... I'll leave that to your imagination, I guess.

Lundy Island (1)
Lundy Island (1)

Dace rushed with his troops towards the southern welsh coast, signs of the undead presence clear, until it culminated in a burnt down field littered with corpses. The man calling himself John was tense next to him, narrowed eyes lingering on the bleached bones, his lip curling in anger.

Dumbledore was here, in his full battle regalia, accompanied by a throng of people wearing lances, wooden ballistae, men in armor looking like knights and a horde of griffins. He had his arms crossed and his eyes closed, his back to the see. When Dace arrived, his now golden eyes opened, looking at what troops the man brought with him, before nodding.

"I heard you were taking care of our transportation method?" Dace began the conversation nonchalantly.

"Indeed." The older man answered, raising his arm. As if on cue, several ships soared from underneath the water, before they fell down onto it, making water splash everywhere.

"Well, then, let's not keep her waiting." He walked towards them, the wand replacing his stump waving and causing the sand of the meach to rise and turn into stone structures allowing people to embark, before they headed South full throttle.

It wasn' hard to notice tha massive thunderstorm surrounding the Island, or the black, starry fog coming from it and obstructing one's view, which was probably why they didn't notice the danger immediately.

Screams coming from both sides had Dace's eyes stray from the objective to focus instead on the ships being devoured by the sea, or, more exactly, by the whirlpoos that just appeared. Dumbledore made a sharp turn to the left, making the ship they were on narrowly avoid a watery grave, but when they were about to touch down, he could see that two of the five ships that came with them, the ones containing mostly humans and ballistae, was destroyed. Dace could see some people struggling in the sea, but sadly, this was not the time to correct that.

Especially since on the beach, the enemy troops were rushing towards them.

"Griffins! Spearmen!" Dumbledore shouted, and his obviously well trained troops jumped immediately while his air forces beelined towards the wall, only to be vaporized by grey pillars around the walls. Right in front of the gates was an armor clad figure that had Martha hiss in anger. One look had her deflating and she shouted orders, making the wolves run towards the zombies and skeletons while the elves installed themselves at the end of the beach, the druids following them hesitantly.

As Dace and Dumbledore got out of the ship, one thing was clear, as a pillar of golden light rose to the sky, cutting though the dark, before disappearing with a shockwave, and it was that time was of the essence.

Well hello there~ Welcome to your brand new invasion simulator!

Except it's not~ This is one of the three battles you'll encounter in this island, the landing!

The two others would be the Necropolis and the Dark One, but let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

As I said, your objective is NOT to destroy the enemy's army, but to get one hero unit ( people on the horsies at the top of the beach, they're stacked right now) where the golden sparks are (bottom of the map), which will lead your army to get to the second area.

Of course, as you may have seen, due to the enemy's superior tactical ability, they had time to prepare and they put quite the defense!

Since you've got no potions to throw en masse and burn your way through, you'll have to fight and force an opening!

However, due to the enemy's cover of Darkness, you've got no idea what's waiting for you in the city proper. Still, even if you're essentially rushing unprepared, Dace has working eyes, and as such, here's a rough estimate of the enemy's troops :

200x Skeleton warriors
Immune to arrows
Undead

300x Zombies
Infection
Undead

40x Vampires
Vampirism
Undead

12x Liches
Spellcaster
Undead

Dark Lord Shirley : ???/???
Ra's Chosen
Undead
Dumbledore did give him a rundown of his troops' abilities, or at least, the ones that didn't get killed .
190x Spearmen : 12 hp
Bonus damage against mounted units.
Can attack in a 2 hex radius.

75x Royal Griffins : 30hp
Unlimited retaliations
Flying
Magic Dampening (Personal) 20%

The following units will leave the boats due to their slowness:

20x Wooden Ballistae: 28 hp
Mechanical
Limited ammunition
May attack structures
Ranged

10x Crusaders: 65
Double attack
Death Ward

2x Clerics: 55
Death Ward
Spellcasters: Bless, bind wounds, spiritual armor, heal.

But more importantly, he told him the broad strokes of his plan, that he had to alter to take into accound the fact that Aimée activated some kind of selective anti-air units defence. In a nutshell, he intended to spend a small amount of time fortifying thir landing until the siege units arrived and destroyed the fortifications before rushing in before it was too late. He looked oddly strained at that last part, and if anything, angrier.

Dace looked around, and so did Martha. After a split second of thinking, she told him of what they could do.

Important notes:

Due to Shirley's rule lawyering, if one hero manages to pass by her, she'll let the rest ofyour army pass unmolested. The same will happen if she is recalled early.

For the HoMM aficionados, passing next to another, enemy, unit will not leave you unable to move. However, if you pass by an enemy, they'll have a chance to use an attack of opportunity, albeit it will be weakened if already attacked by another unit.

By hiding your ranged unit behind others, it becomes impossible for the enemy to target them.

Enemy ranged units will retaliate if attacked.

A battle turn is roughly five minutes long. In other words, you have 2 battle turns before Aimée kills somebody else.

Aimée is the (former) chosen of Hephaestus and has been active under Riddle's control for over 30 years. Expect the worst.

The die is cast, let's see how this is going to end.

The End ?
The End ?

Before Dace and his troops had time to ready themselves for attack, the undead dashed. Not towards the melee, but through the gaps in their direction. The zombies' slow shambling made it easy for the wolves and spearmen to cull their numbers as they moved.

Attacks of opportunity!

The spearmen attack: 987 Damage inflicted : 32 zombies die

The wolves attack: 20277 Damage inflicted : all remaining zombies die

However, this was not the plan. While the zombies were piling up on the frontline fighters, dying against them and forming a mountain of corpses, the skeletons managed to slip through and reach the back, towards their true intended victim.

The skeletons attack: Luck roll : 96 : Pass! 794 Damage inflicted: Innil dies! Angel's blade lost!

Innil did her best, but close quarters combat wasn't her forte, and while she was nimble, this meant nothing against a hundred skeletons. For a while, it seemed her armor would hold, but blows upon blows were raining over her and, at the critical moment, she tripped. The others tried reaching for her, but this all happened so fast they could do nothing to save her.

Nothing was left of the elf, save for a dark brown stain on the dead ground, and at this moment, Dace's people felt as if they had lost something guiding their hands.

While all of this was taking place, the vampires were flying around, before they too, decided on a target.

The dementors attack : Luck roll : 25 : No Pass! Damage inflicted nullified by item! Mana drain activated! Dumbledore's mana reaches 0 ! Dumbledore faints!

The dementors flew first, however, suddenly coming from the shadows and bounding on Dumbledore. Their attacks didn't manage to injure the man, however, this was not what they were after.
Each blow that landed on him, he was becoming weaker and weaker, until in the end, Dumbledore fell, uninjured, but inconscious.

Seeing him fall was a massive hit on his troops' morale, and the spearmen and griffin's attack became disorganized

The vampires decided to strike in the panic that was beginning to take place, to kill the snake by cutting its head off. Amidst the chaos, it was easy for them to notice their intended victim.

The vampires attack! Luck roll : 92 : Pass! 348 Damage inflicted: Dace di-

"Aah, my poor child, what have they done to y-"
"Alright, alright, this is getting ridiculous."

Dace's eyes snapped open and he was sitting in an unknown place.

No.

Not quite.

He'd been here before.

He was sitting on a plush, almost throne-like chair made of brass and velvet, and his hands were on the table, on each side of a cup. The cuts and bruises inflicted by the vampires stinging all over his form.
A small orb of light was shining over the table, providing lighting to the place, and in front of him, clad in a royal blue dress, was the little girl he saw last time, calling herself Themis.

"You messed up." She informed him, taking a sip from her cup. " The world is changing fast, you need to be aggressive, instead of simply reacting to what happens. Well, not that you're going to remember that conversation anyways." She let go of the cup and cracked her neck and Dace felt something come out from him.

What was he doing here?

There was a sense of pressure that disappeared, as his wounds visibly healed. The gears lining the walls were turning, while a strange, mildly horrific octopus-like mass of shadows was reaching for him. 'Themis' raised her eyebrow at it, before turning back towards Dace.

"Disgusting, isn't it? I suppose you've gathered enough interest that I can intervene in a direct manner this time. However." Her golden, blue eyes pinned Dace and he felt the foreign need to squirm. " This is the last time I'm cleaning up behind you and yours. After that, unless you're willing to pay the price, you're on your own. Still." She broke eye contact and Dace could break again. " I dare hope your muse won't try anything of the sort again if you do choose to accept my help. And that they'll be ready for the consequences of doing so." Her lips curled up in an amused fashion, but her eyes were still cold as winter.

Does Dace accept 'Themis'' help? (uses up an MP)

[]Yes. Dace will be freed, but in doing so, incur the wrath of his former patron.
[]No. Things will remain as they are.

As Dace was about to answer, everything became grey from the walls to the floor, and he found he couldn't move.

The orb of light began to twitch and twist, before a black shape emerged from it. It looked like your common black cat, but to Dace it may as well have been a demon coming out from hell and he hissed, trying to get as far as possible from the creature that was leisurely walking on the table.

Then, a thunderous voice almost reduced his brain to mush.

I will allow you to bring back two things of yours in your journey. Choose well.

The cat's amethyst's eyes popped out from its skull, rolling towards Dace as now empty eyesockets were turned towards him. The cat's jaw then unhinged, revealing rows upon rows of sharp teeth, movind to the side like a demented whirlpool leading to the Abyss itself. Then it popped out of existence, and time began to flow again.

'Themis' took one look at what was merrily rolling in front of Dace and rubbed her forehead.

"I see. I suppose I should warn you of something, lest I get complaints again. The energy that would allow me to break the contract can also be channeled through those to allow you to take back more with you." Her grimace of dislike made her rather long nose more prominent. " Though, that would mean you would still be bound to her."

Dace looked at the emerald cat's eyes in front of him. If that was true, then he would take...

Choose 2 (Or 4) :

[] Himself ( Dace would retain memories up to the Battle of Yr Wyddfa, and his levels, however, he would be converted from H3 to H4 hero and as such, would obtain different skills. Furthermore, the HBS Deathclock will not be reset.)

[] An ally. Depending on how loyal and aware of your history they are, they may or may not come back to you. Their levels will be reset.

[]An item. This comes with restrictions:
-The holy grail will keep its stat increasing effect, along with its ability to ignore caps, however all other effects will be wiped out and change depending on faction chosen.
-The Nature anchor will not come with Yr Wyddfa.
-In fact, you don't get to choose Yr Wyddfa unless you use 2 charges on it.

Well, that happened.

Votes by plans, will be ignored otherwise!

Stay tuned for the incoming report card.
