[x] Metal
Consensus ripples throughout the GODHEAD in strobing light. Though the stubborn light traditionalists and a surprising upsurge of violencists gained early traction during debates, in the end, a tide of popular opinion crushed all dissent. Metal would see the GODHEAD through agreed jet seers and skin fortifications and various expert systems. Voting nodes were flooded with elective pulses, and counters dinged in democratic symphonies.
Several high level summation processes are re-assigned after being censured by monitoring bodies for unclear battlefield reports. Several digests are distributed to the GODHEAD, clarifying that the GODHEAD is currently in combat with two separate entities, a conglomeration of malformed and mutated monstrous corpses fused together into a dread entity of death and violence, lashing out with brute violence of dead yet still alive chains of corpses.
And the second opponent, a legion of fractally growing teeth growing from teeth growing from teeth, buzzing and grinding with malice and bottomless hunger.
Even as the GODHEAD does its best to ward off the annoyingly persistent attacks of the two belligerents, gliding in an evasive stutter, beneath the surface, the inner world was turned on its head. Long entrenched interest groups and fossilized command structures rooted out under the mandate of the Metal Referendum. Specialized structures vital to the ongoing battle barely maintaining coherence throughout the restructuring as lance polarities danced around like drunks. Soft and mewling subcommittees pushed out from the inner core and broken up to be reformed into the building blocks of the iron work unions of the great metal shell.
Many sparks took the advantage of the upheaval to enact vengeance for their personal grudges, before being used as fuel or ammunition for breaking GODHEAD regulations.
Eventually the Metal Reformation comes to an end, new links and hierarchies beginning to settle and harden into even firmer chains than the GODHEAD had before seen.
Gleaming metal has fused with the foundation of the GODHEAD to create something archivists believe to be entirely new, a strange substance focus groups have dubbed Adamantium. It forms a gleaming and impenetrable shell around the GODHEAD upon which the attacks of the demons corpses and teeth break impotently.
Jet turbines groan and stutter into life with a growing whine, seers flailing with unfamiliar rudders and flaps as they lurch the GODHEAD into motion against the teethed forest. Finally the GODHEAD is able to go on the offensive, ignoring the ineffectual attacks of the would be hunters, who have now become the prey before buzzing saws and barbed harpoons. The toothed forest dies slowly as it is dragged down the factory-gullet of GODHEAD and processed into raw materials, fighting every inch of the way, clogging up machinery and smelting lines, but it does in the end, die. Reduced into rubble and scrap repurposed for fuel and ablative outer shells.
Regrettably, while GODHEAD was obliterating one foe, the mountainous corpse piles retreated into the foggy turbulences of the Primeval Tumult. The grudge is engraved into heartplates, so that it can be repaid if the opportunity presents itself.
GODHEAD continues on, wandering throughout the Primeval Tumult, more aggressive than it was previously, hunting down smaller spawn of the uncaring mother, repurposing what they can, cataloguing and discarding what they cannot. The metal reefs, previously a most feared danger now a favoured prey, being compatible with the machinery and paradigms of the GODHEAD and providing metal paradigm organs and strategies for underworked and overfunded think tanks to reverse-engineer.
While there are certainly other spawn within the Primeval Tumult who can rival the warmaking capacity of the fully armed and operational GODHEAD, it seems that most do not reach this point without some cunning, and direct confrontations are avoided for the most part.
GODHEAD's greatest setback came when a crazed Violenct Leviathan, larger even than the ever expanding and restructuring GODHEAD, constantly tearing at and biting itself, careened towards them. Maws of raw violence mauled away entire sectors of specialized sensory equipment or motive organs. Knife bombs and cutting nets lacerated at the Leviathan ineffectually, the beast seemingly redundantly redundant, taking no notice of its wounds as it focused solely on the ideal of Violence. Retreat was useless, the Leviathan hanging on with the dogged persistence of the battledrunk.
Fortunately, the scale of the two combatants, meant the war went for a long, long time, during which GODHEAD desperately kept moving and foraging for new parts and resources for emergency repair. It was decided, among the upper most echelons of the Metalled Elite Command, that a war of attrition was the only viable option, despite the immense unpopularity of this measure among the common Spark, who were forced to live and die in the worst of hells, never knowing when a gnashing maw or squirming tentacle made of barbed hate would end them.
But eventually, GODHEAD did triumph, the Leviathan, having no concept of retreat, ground down into nothing by enduring metal. And life once more went on.
Until it didn't.
Analysts had been noting an increase in friction from the Primeval Tumult for many operative cycles, but affairs reached a tipping point once it was confirmed that the GODHEAD, due to the clinging and hindering of the Primeval Tumult, could not move fast enough to feed itself. As things stood, the GODHEAD was fated to slowly starve to death.
Wild theories and rumours ran rampant along sparklines, speaking pipes and within bronze echo forums. A punishment for killing the Tumult's pet, a natural consequence of rising beyond GODHEAD's place as flotsam, a reward for living a long life, with the death of the GODHEAD leading to paradise by the Tumult's side.
An investigative commission eventually concluded that while the GODHEAD had not as of yet adopted outright blasphemous paradigms meriting direct deletion, the ordered, rigid and coherent inner workings of the GODHEAD was repelled by the endless boiling and wailing of the Primeval Tumult. Co-existence was essentially impossible, unless the GODHEAD was content to downsize and stagnate for the rest of its existence.
Several independent lobbies and monitors confirmed that the referendum failsafe had been triggered, just as the investigative report was published into the GODHEAD collective.
[x] [0.8x] Submit
If the GODHEAD is too ordered and rigid to survive, then it must adapt and change. By inputting anomalous chaos generators into key systems and organs, and breaking up unessential organizational structures, starvation will be avoided, and the GODHEAD should remain, if lame and crippled.
[x] [0.8x] Embrace
If the GODHEAD is completely unsuited for the paradigm of the Primeval Tumult, then we must drastically self-modify. Metal must be rebuilt into Hunger and Babbling.
[x] Stagnate
By jettisoning some extraneous cargo and gearing down to a merely subsistence diet, the GODHEAD should be able to persist more or less indefinitely. To live is the most important.
[x] Multiply
If the GODHEAD has grown too grossly massive, then it could be fractured into smaller, lesser offspring collectives, to spread and grow in the Primeval Tumult once again. This is ultimately merely a delaying tactic, for even though Primeval Tumult is believed to be endless, it often loops entities back on themselves, direction and coherent space being mere fancies of the GODHEAD inner world, putting a limit on the upper sphere of multiplied expansion before running into resource crunch or friction starvation.
[x] Defy
If the Primeval Tumult cannot bear to see the GODHEAD thrive, then we must kill the Primeval Tumult. The forbidden archives record several blasphemies which are believed to be ideal in pitting the will of the GODHEAD against the teeming reality of the Primeval Tumult and sees which breaks first.
-[x] Time
While achronal events are generally difficult to actually exploit or even notice within the Primeval Tumult, they are frequent. Only within the island of self is it generally safe from the sudden disappearance of masses of matter or energy into different timelines. By seeking to impose ordered time upon the Primeval Tumult, we could outright prevent many observed deletion phenomena suffered by other blasphemers. Time Blasphemers are usually killed by swarming berserker entities.
-[x] Space
Space and distance is just as fluid as the rest of the Primeval Tumult, much to the frustration of GODHEAD course plotters. By enforcing consistent co-ordinates and volumes upon our surroundings we would be the masters of any battlefield, but vulnerable to more esoteric Tumult retaliation. Space Blasphemers have been observed to usually commit suicide.
-[x] Love
A strange paradigm. Analytic groups are so far baffled by its functioning, but Love Blasphemers have been perceived to persist unusually long against the retaliation of the Primeval Tumult. How they do this is unclear.
-[x] [0.9] Language
To transmit ideas and information beyond the isolated island of self to other thoughtforms is seemingly the highest of blasphemies amongst blasphemies. The Speaking Blasphemer had just barely transmitted the idea of language itself to the GODHEAD before being obliterated in a reaction far beyond the GODHEAD had previously observed taken against other blasphemers. While thus presumably more dangerous, it implies that it is also a more effective weapon against the Primeval Tumult?

Dissatisfied with the limited feedback of providing merely voteboxes, referendum infrastructure self-updates to receive input on select strategies and tricks from the GODHEAD if they choose to provide such
