On one hand yes it IS possible BUT putting it out their means somone else could very well reverse engineer it and use it against you sooo

Weighing.
Okay, who's gonna be taking shots at us? Possibilities:
1) Angels. They don't give a shit about human technology and don't reverse-engineer things. Not a problem.
2) SEELE. They already have this technology as far as I know, or other superior technologies (e.g. the Mass Production EVAs and their weapons apparently based on the Spear of Longinus). While SEELE stabbing our giant robots with progressive knives is obviously bad, I'm not sure it actually makes things worse.
3) National militaries. This seems like it would only be relevant if the military in question:
3a) Was willing to spend a ton of money on building specifically a bunch of super robots,
3b) Wanted to fight us, and
3c) Had some way of solving the problem of AT fields, which purely mechanical mecha such as Jet Alone cannot normally do.
All in all, I'm cautiously optimistic that this wouldn't be a dangerous technology to have proliferate, at least not from our point of view. Arguably, giant vibro-swords for mecha are the least practical application of the technology from the perspective of basically anyone who doesn't have our specific combination of unique-ish advantages like being able to make the biological component of an EVA in the first place.
I mean...multiple IRL nations spent God knows how much on weapons the would almost certainly be one use apocalypse starters just cause literally everyone else was going for them.
Long story short never underestimate governments willingness to start dick measuring contests regardless of realistic practicality.
The pallet rifles systems might be worth selling. 120mm full automatic cannons will look impressive and the thing was freaking useless in canon.

Well, basically you're talking about nuclear weapons or biological weapons here, one or the other.
Biological weapons generally haven't seen much actual cash investment; they're not that expensive to develop and a lot of the money that's gone into researching them over the years was spent in dual-use mindset of "how can we defend against this" at least as much as "how can we develop it."
But you're probably thinking about nukes. The thing with nukes is, they really are incredibly powerful weapons, and even having them at all means you get to avoid a lot of wars and war scenarios because nobody would be stupid enough to invade you knowing what Hell you might call down on them if they actually start beating you. There's a big reward for having them; it's not just a dick-measuring contest.
By contrast, progressive knives are only really useful as weapons under very specific conditions. No enemy country is going to NOPE out of the idea of invading you at all just because you know how to build them. Even if you have devastatingly effective super robots that use them or something, from an enemy's perspective the real threat is the mecha, not the knives, and the mecha would be scary even if armed with something else instead.
Basically, any country willing to spend billions to duplicate progressive knives for giant mecha and, importantly, the mecha to arm with those knives, and that is willing to come after us... Well, I figure they'll be about the same level of threat whether they have progressive knives or not. Especially if they can't duplicate our work with the AT field, for instance, and thus their superheavy combat assets can't actually break the AT field of an EVA.

She'd for a long while managed to hold them back while working and raising Ritsuko, first making advances on Gendo after Yui's incident. She then held herself back for longer after his rejection and tried to throw herself into her work.
Then eventually Shirou Emiya came along.
Well built, cute, earnest, intelligent on a technical level. NERV'S newest redhead had certainly captured her attention despite being a good few years younger than her.
There was just one problem....
He was a oblivious dolt!
Every low key flirt, every double entender, every invite to coffee.
Failure.
It would be one thing if he had given her a rejection like Ikari. But nooooo, he was just an idiot!
A sexy idiot. And that just drove her to try harder.
Thus leading her to her current position where she was found by Ritsuko coming home from college to visit....
Stalking in front of a conspiracy board in her living room detailing her Current plans to nab Shirou.
"Mother?"
She perked up "Ritsuko! Welcome back! Momma needs your help with a little project!"
Her smile was twitching and unhinged and so the younger Akagi wisely began slowly backing away.
Of course it did her no good as Naoko grabbed her and dragged her back inside. Locking the door while explaining the situation to her.
The faux blond gave her a flat look "Mom. I love you. So know I speak with complete certainty when I say that I want nothing to do with your sex life in any way shape or form."

You sat in the front office of the H&C Logistics office's waiting room as you considered the many many options that could have been, alas your options were here or trying your luck in more unsavory parts of the world.
Everyone knew wheeling and dealing was the name of the game.
And for all of your own work, you knew that with the money troubles would only get worse, unless you… diversified your operation.
Again your options sucked, but likely this would open many doors.
No one said saving the world was easy. This will be easier then dealing with Lucy's outbursts.
The receptionist continued to talk as you continued to wait and plan, and you overheard the conversation.
"Asset movements…South Pacific to Africa…drop."
Ahh, so the story was entering its crescendo.
"Dr. Ikari…I'm sorry for keeping you waiting, but Mr. Hekmatyar will be seeing you now." She said.
You nodded. "I was actually looking for the head of the Africa division, the raw material for medical technology is a lucrative deal and your cut will be-"
"Astronomical is one word for it." Kasper Hekmatyar said as he bowed to you in mocking respect. "Or so your scientist keeps telling me."
Ahh, there goes all but the last obstacle to what you really wanted.
"I assure you the long-term benefits for all of your department with LCL shipping and development,all I ask is that for the benefit of shipping it for your profit that I receive a cut." You said.
Kasper nodded. "You want us to handle the distribution but you will handle the supplying the distribution…using us as a middle man I see."
He nodded again as he was handed a file. "Money trouble Doctor? I thought that using a third party to distribute experimental meds to get money was beneath you."
You sighed. "My overseers of the Project are being stingy with their money…and I am required to look for alternate sources to supplement."
Kasper laughed. "AHAH, WELL then I didn't think that a man such as you would lower yourself to my level."
You continued to play the dead cool stare of a man with nothing to lose. "This is less lowering myself to your level, and more raising you to mine."
Kasper raised an eyebrow. "A Quid Pro Quo?"
"Should the right respect be shown and request be made." You said. "Anything is possible."

He was silent for but a moment. "An arrangement, would you make a product worth selling can be arranged."
Excellent…now comes the next part.
"May I meet the Head of the Africa division and have a few words…given that I belive she will be handling most of the primary distribution." You said.
He waved you off, silently allowing you to do so.

It had been a somewhat hectic few weeks for you between calls, meetings and contracts to make a solid profit off of NERV's research and increase tge budget.
The armoring technology had been the easiest sell and were currently being implemented in both various JSSDF technologies and used for containment in various nuclear power plants abroad.
NERV'S medical and LCL based enhancements had been much more cautiously and slowly leant out to select groups on advisement from your own scientists.
You carefully look over the proper sales figures and give a small smirk at it all having paid off.

"Yes" her voice is small and high pitched as befitting her age yet still a fair bit monotone. It was unatural in a way that would unsettle some but you'd long grown desensitized to.
You carefully toss the ball over and it once more stopped mid air before springing back into your hand.
You toss it back to her again and this process repeats until the machine beeps signaling it had gotten all it needed.

Slowly but surely everyone watched the readings as they seemed to properly stabilize.

"I simply wished to run a test to see if we could."
Her look tells you she doesn't believe it for a second but you both just shrug and share a smirk as she rolls her eyes.

Over time switch over to eggs and other cheap but fragile objects.
