Obligatory intro
Welcome to Gamer Quest #33984! A story where you take an utterly talent-less gamer and turn him into a living encyclopedia of knowledge and skill! You'll also go on adventures and have a grand old time. But first we have to get the exposition out of the way!:

You are the Gamer, that being who will save all of the universes by basically becoming a super-badass. RIght now, you're just beginning.

You= Total blank slate!

That's right. You don't have any skills to start out with. Don't worry though- You gain lots of abilities just by going to a world.

Feel free to ask questions. I'm sure you have a lot of them.

Now then what is the first world you want to start out in?

[] Universe A: Bears a close resemblance to the Marvel comic Universe. Expect some differences though.
[] Universe B: A universe where humanity and the denizens of Hell are waging war against each other. Make sure you're ready to fight in this one.
[] Universe C: A universe similar to 1980's America. Watch out for serial killers with supernatural powers in this universe.
[] Universe D: Small-scale Universe closely resembling the American West. Keep a watchful eye out for genocidal regular ol' serial killers.
[] Universe E: Standard Fantasy realm. Expect to find lots of dragons.

Question and Info Corner 1
Question and Info Corner:

[X] Universe E: Standard Fantasy realm. Expect to find lots of dragons.

As long as we get to marvel at some stage.

But i have this thought in my head in regards to when the OP said that we start with no skills. Does that include some of the gamer powers? Such as Inventory. Because I've got an idea in regards to improving the Gamer interface by ourselves with something like the magic of a Bag of holding thus creating our own inventory if that's the case.

Just a thought. And meaningless if I was reading too much into what the QM said.

You get an inventory that can carry more items as you progress and the Universal common tongue, which also allows you to understand the writing for the languge

Oh yeah, and voting is closed.

Update 1
What Gender are you?

[] Male
[] Female
[]Genderless

You are The Gamer.

You have...Memories...of a past where you were a normal person on the Universe of Connection, so named because many of the Universes that exist are in some way connected to this one.

But that's all in the past. Your current goal is to travel to various universes in trouble and bring happiness to its inhabitants.

You don't know how or why you know all this

You don't have time to reflect on the mystery however, as you are currently in a large town that is being set on fire by a dragon whose scales are as red as blood. The dragon's feet are about as big as an average sized house, and in addition to ending villagers' lives by fire, he also ends them by crushing the bodies their souls inhabit.

Some of the features of the setting you are currently in:

A mother with a panicked dirty face, is holding an infant and rushing out of the town.

An old man, with a bent back and legs is currently on the ground praying to someone called the Holy Sage. He prays not for salvation, but for a swift death.

There are some young men, none of them older than 30, fighting the dragon. Their swords are doing little damage. You notice that some of them are deliberately drawing attention to themselves.

A house, already burned by the dragon's fire, is collapsing upon itself.

Before you're able to react, the dragon shoots a fireball from it's mouth at the fleeing woman with infant. She looks behind herself frequently, so she's able to leap out of the fireball's path. It's a futile effort though, as the fireball goes in an arc towards the woman and incinerates her and the infant instantly in a massive explosion that also knocks you off of your feet.

When you get up you see that the men fighting the dragon are all dead or soon to be. Some of them no longer have the lower halves of their bodies. Some of them are charred husks. Some of them seem to be no more than piles of meat bone and blood.

Then the dragon looks at you.

It's menacing red eyes seem to glow at you. You experience an emotion that you think is fear, but you feel compelled to return the dragon's stare. This continues for about 5 seconds, before the dragon turns and flies off.
