Fletcher stood still shocked… Before a sword appeared in his hand the weight pushing its blade towards the ground, the sword was easily bigger than Fletcher by around two feet, the blade slightly curved, must have been made for an extra large man or on horseback? It was of excellent mark Fletcher had never seen anything like it. It must be a masterwork his father Berdon would be impressed, searching the blade he found letters across the side 진(眞) 히트맨, a language he had never read.
Then an idea tickled his brain he could tell it wasn't his idea, an energy now spoke to him and him alone, it was in all things but to him it could speak and it told him that the words on the blade, no the Odachi said True Hitman. The unknown force slowly left his mind, no, a known force now, The Force.
He looked down at the body's now, quickly reminded of the fact that there were two corpses but three people. Callista would tell people how he spat acid and killed two men like a monster, a beast to be put down. He had to leave, and it had to be now. He thought about putting the Odachi away and *poof" it was gone he panicked where was it? What happened?
And immediately it was back in his hands, he thought of it disappearing again and it did, not only was it a masterwork but it could be summoned like a beast. True Hitman was appearing to be an impressive blade.
Now without the large weapon in hand Fletcher realised the book was gone, no not gone just not here. In fact he could feel it deep within his mind, was this the source of the acid and his connection with the force? If so, what in the Ether was it?
Wait, no time to think about this, he had to leave. So quickly he headed out the entranceway to the mausoleum, making the short trip back to the rest of the village.
Fletcher went to his room grabbing a pack to fill with the essentials; food, clothing, any extra tidbits he would need. After preparing his pack he headed to Berdon's room, he was going to have to say goodbye.
He shook Berdon awake. "What is it?" Berdon queried, obviously half awake. "I'm sleeping, wake me in the morning." Fletcher shook him harder this time "Wake up! We don't have much time" Fletcher practically shouted at Berdon.
Berdon sat up "What is it Fletcher?" Berdon asked "It's about Didric" Fletcher responded his breath hitching "I killed him" he quickly clarified "He wanted me dead, he was going to kill me. Him, Jakov and Callista"
"How did you beat all three of them?" Berdon questioned, his eyebrow raised suddenly, much more awake. "I'm still not sure there was this strange feeling inside my throat and then I spat out acid, it melted them…" Fletcher told him his voice was shaking.
"By the Ether…" Berdon whispered barely audible "I've never heard of anything like that, it doesn't sound like magic, but a summoner would know much more" he said much louder now. Berdon gets up and heads into the forge picking up a parcel and passing it to Fletcher "I was going to give this to you for your sixteenth but you'll need it much more now" Berdon told him,
"Oh, and take this" he says passing Fletcher a blade; it started like a normal sword, before curving like a waning moon reaching towards the tip, which coalesced in a flat blade "It will be a good blade for you, the unusual shape will confuse more experienced swordsmen, the curve allowing for easier parrying and the end working much like an axe to split shields"
"Thank you Berdon, for everything" Fletcher truly thanked his adoptive father "I love you Dad, I'll see you someday again" Fletcher says tears welling in his eyes "I'm proud of you, you may not be my son by birth but you are my son and I love you, Goodbye"

He couldn't refuse helping Berdon after all he had done for him, plus not being arrested did sound pretty good. What was one more murder after the two he had committed. Fletcher began to slink his way towards Casper Cavell's house.
He slid in through a downstairs window before taking out a hunting dagger, he stalked through the house before finding Casper's room. He stood over his sleeping form, debating if he could do this, could he kill the man planning to doom his father, his town and himself. He quickly found he could kill this poor imitation of a man and slit Casper's throat.
