Are you doing Character Creation? Congratulations! You have 10 Social Points and 10 Power Points to spend.

Who are you?
[X] -7 SP: Taylor Hebert - 'surviving', for lack of a better word
[X] -0 SP: Olive Ospizia - an enterprising high school graduate
[X] -4 SP: Theo Anders - "Sharper than he looks sometimes. Sharper than he acts."

Where does your power come from? (IC you probably don't know this)
[X] -0 PP: Zion/Scion/The Warrior Entity
[X] -2 PP: Cauldron/Eden/The Thinker Entity
[X] -3 PP: Somewhere Else/Abaddon/The Loner

Third and final question for Pt 1: How long should I leave Voting open?
No vote options for this one, obviously, but let me know in a comment how long you think I should wait for votes.

Character Creation Pt 2
Theo Anders
- "Sharper than he looks sometimes. Sharper than he acts."
Strength-1
Dexterity-1
Constitution+0
Intelligence+2
Wisdom+3
Charisma-1
Social Points: 6
You can spend 2 points to improve Intelligence or Wisdom, or 1 point to improve another stat.
You can also buy skills. You've had a lot of your father's henchfolks trying to earn favor by tutoring you or showing you things. You're not sure whose favor they're trying to earn, because the Nazis aren't getting any from you, but the skills are handy.
1 SP: Wilderness Survival & Knots
1 SP: First Aid
1 SP: Mechanics
1 SP: Strategy
2 SP: Tactics
2 SP: Marksmanship
2 SP: Martial Arts
? SP: [Write-In?]
Please submit ONE plan vote for spending Social Points. For example:
[X] -5 SP: "Plan Save One for Later" +1 Wisdom, learn First Aid, learn Marksmanship
Or
[X] -6 SP: "Plan Thicc Theo" +1 Strength, Dexterity, Constitution, & Charisma; learn Martial Arts
Or
[X] -0 SP: Let's save them to spend later, the QM will probably give more opportunities. Hopefully.

Parasitically attached to a small, under-formed Warrior Bud there sits something completing the connection, duping the Shards nearby by showing up as the full form of the Warrior bud.
Power Points: 7

How old are you? How did you trigger?
[X] 9, it's 2005, your mom, Heith, just died.
[X] 12, it's 2008, your Father has made it clear that as soon as this marriage gives him a proper heir, you'll be done.
[X] 14, it's 2010, and Purity, your lifeline out of E88 culture, lets you shadow on a patrol.
[X] 15, it's 2011, and you got caught out in Bakuda's bombing spree.

You mulled over life while you coasted through Geology at Immaculata Jr High.
Your father's never hit you. No, he's too refined for that. Instead, he has people for that. Melody and Brad in particular seemed to enjoy 'putting you through your paces'. It was Victor's inclusion in the sessions that resulted in actual improvements. It was Othala's inclusion afterwards that resulted in your survival. Over the few years since then, you've maintained some of the exercises.
Enough exercise to accidentally crush a sandy rock when the door slams behind you. Just a student being excused; using the restroom or running an errand.
The thought of martial arts in the face of this, though. It's laughable. You're certain of it, he's going to kill you. Er- he's going to have someone kill you. Can't go getting his hands dirty.
properties: brittle, flakes easily, falls apart readily
You could learn every throw, every kata, every counter, every strike, and yet nothing you had could put up a fight against the Empire. The Empire that doesn't leave loose ends.
You hold the dark rock like the handle of a weapon. A bladeless, guardless hilt, as powerful as you are.
You can't help but look back through your childhood. You understand you're young, but you feel old. Where so many times you've told yourself you could've done better here or there, you can see for yourself now that you've always done your best. Always, that hasn't been enough.
You'd gotten used to his comments about wanting a 'worthy heir', but you were still surprised. By how quickly he moved once he decided on Purity, sure, but also by a particular fragment of a conversation you'd overheard between them: "not to worry, Theodore will be out of the picture, our dear child wi..."
Maybe you'd be able to ignore that if the martial arts instruction hadn't suddenly stopped a few months ago. You'd hesitated to reach out to them, but when Victor didn't respond, you'd tried Othala, then Brad and Melody, and none had responded.
You're on your own. You're going to die.
You feel close to something, and as you come to a decision, you see something vast feeding on something beyond comprehension.

[X] Confront Max Anders, Kaiser of the E88 and your Father.
[X] Squirrel away food and pack a bag until a week before the wedding. Then RUN and make for Boston.
[X] If there's anyone your Nazi family & not-so-friends might not beat, it's the heroes. Skip class to turn yourself in.

Did you pick up any hobbies while you were under the shadow of the Kaiser?
[X] Yes, (Write-In what)

You're just like the parasite from your vision. Subsisting on something larger and more dangerous. You want to be better. You will be better.
You're patient. Haste makes waste and you can't afford that.
When your father is at a rally, one he didn't bother trying to drag you to, you enact the first part of your plan.
As you reach for the box of protein bars, your hands leave behind a solid silver shape. In your single motion, it follows past your hand and expands. Your hand is resting on top of a smooth oblong container of silver around what was a box of protein bars. You understand.
The vision was you getting your powers. Not quite like it'd been described to you, but this is definitely a power and you're 80% sure you're the one using it.
What you don't understand is what your power does...

Power Points: 7
You heft the ex-box of protein bars. It's incredibly light weight, probably no heavier than the box was before, even though it's got probably 6x the volume and appears to be solid silver. You focus on it and...
Choose one:
[X] -2 PP: You shift the weight of the egg-like object, causing it to quickly become to heavy for you to carry. Fortunately, with just a bit of panicked focus in the other direction, it's weightless as it hits the pantry floor.
[X] -2 PP: You feel like you can... Push it, so you do. The box shrinks almost sideways as you Push, until it's gone. You can feel something now in the back of your mind, an egg-shape containing a mostly-full box of protein bars. With a Pulling sensation you can see and somehow feel the shape form above your hands, then drop right into them.

Not entirely sure what to do with this, you swipe your hand across it, and just like you were hoping, the silver fades away into nothing.
You swipe your hand again, not over the box this time, but through the air.
Choose one:
[X] -2 PP: Sure enough, a block of silver forms in the air; as you move your hand back and forth, making your way down, you create a wall, albeit not a pretty one.
[X] -0 PP: You can't make it form at first, but the moment your eyes catch on a pack of Powerade, your hand is leaving a silver trail behind it and is moving around it. It seems you need something to cocoon around when you use your power.

Trait Gained: Reliable ⚡⚡⚡
Whenever I ask for a roll, the person who rolls has the option to declare that they're using Reliable to roll again and take the better of the two. You have three uses right now, and anytime you act sufficiently Reliable, you'll get more uses.
On a potentially related note: could someone roll a Wisdom check for me to pack your bug-out bag?

So you can store protein bars in your mind. That's cool. What else can you fit in there, though..?
You go right for the dining room table. It's old, you think it's mahogany, and it weighs a billion pounds.
Choose One:
[X] -1 PP: You stroll along the side of the table, your silver smoothly sliding across its surface, expanding downward and pushing back a few chairs as it encompasses the feet of the table, you feel a sense of fulfillment as it closes around the table and you're able to smoothly Push it away.
[X] -0 PP: You stretch your arms across the table and your silver stretches across, flicks back and forth, but fails to encompass the table. With strain it's able to get a little larger, but not enough to surround the table. You can do chairs just fine, though.

You start making a pile on the table: protein bars, Powerade, most of a loaf of bread, a jar of peanut butter, a series of assorted juice cups, a half-gallon of milk, and a 12-pack of Coke. You wave your hand across the food as if gently brushing at a forcefield that isn't there, and sure enough, a malformed silver bubble forms in the air around the food. You Push it all into your head, and try to Pull it back out...
Choose One:
[X] -1 PP: and sure enough, not only can you Pull the whole pile back out as is, but you can Pull individual objects out of the pile, Push them back in, or store them in separate bubbles in your head.
[X] -0 PP: and you can Pull the pile back out as is, but you can't separate the individual items without removing the bubble entirely.

Looking at all this food, it occurs to you that you wouldn't be able to carry it well at all without your power. You might be able to carry this much, but even with all this, it'll be hard to ration until you've got a source of income... ah. Taking food is all well and good, but you realize that what'll serve you much better is taking money. There's not much petty cash around the apartment, but there are plenty of valuables. Hopefully pawn-able valuables.
Choose One:
[X] Your father has slowly depleted your mother's jewelry box over the last years, but if you take the rest, you should be able to make a pretty penny selling off her memories.
[X] Your father's extra watch, his cufflinks, his laptop, and any furniture you can transport easily. He'll be after you anyway, no reason to hold back at this point.
[X] Both. You can't afford to be stingy about where your money's coming from.
[X] Neither. You'll just take food, toiletries, and belongings that are unquestionably yours.
[X] Write-In?

You fiddle around with your powers a bit more, and find that you can comfortably fit two 'big' bubbles in your head, and can fit maybe 3 more with minor side effects (heavy eyelids, tension, irritation). Any more than that an it starts to hurt. If the bubbles are smaller you can fit a few more, but you don't think you could reach 10 bubbles no matter how much you strained, no matter the bubble size.
It's as you're putting things back down to relieve tension that you realize...
Choose One:
[X] -1 PP: You have to touch something, or rather, touch around something, in order to bubble it. You don't, however, have to touch around where you let it back out. In fact, you can Pull it back into realspace anywhere within about 10ft of you.
[X] -1 PP: The milk you loaded in with the food bubble earlier, it's still cold, and it's been in there for well over an hour. This bears further investigating, but something's slowed about time or temperature inside the silver.

You had been thinking of preparing for longer, but the more you fool around with your power, the more you think... you could probably leave tonight. Now.
For that matter, the more you fool around with your power, the more you fear just what Kaiser would make you do if he knew you had them.
Choose One:
[X] Leave now. Get out and get out fast, be out of the city before anyone knows you're gone.
[X] Play it cool. You know you can't stick around much longer, but if you can stay put until your father goes out late with Kayden, that should provide a good opportunity to get away while still allowing a few days' preparation.
[X] You're in no rush, and you know the perfect time to ditch. You'll disappear in the chaos of the wedding; you've seen enough television to know that weddings are limitless chaos. That way even once he's noticed that you're gone, he'll be too busy to come after you.
