[X] Countess Mantrae herself is standing at the window of your room, fiddling with something in her hands

Also sorry for the double post but wanted to ask this as it's own thing so it'd have a notif instead of just an edit, but is the inspiration a real life story or a fantasy/Fire Emblem specific one?

Ah, then based off a cursory search since I actually haven't played anything older than Awakening, I'm going to get it's based off Chapter 6 in Sacred Stones? Basic outline seems similar and seems there's a recommended strat of stalling the Bael via using someone who can dodge all the attacks and draw aggro.
Ding ding ding we have a winner : )

My first and still favorite Fire Emblem game. I will admit, a lot of the motivation to finally try this quest was actually based on a replaying that game and Myrrh becoming a beast that two-shotted the final boss.

[X] You… can't put your finger on it. There's just… something off. Didn't you put that scroll away?

Picking this mainly for the invisible text. Looks like someone has been snooping around the room.

[X] There's a sound of arguing voices from around the corner opposite the one you came down. Is that Sir Octavio's voice?

Perfect small kid storytelling.

So... what does it mean if people suspect we're a student from the Marble Hall?

That sounds adorably terrifying.

That they have an explanation for some of our weirdness. Not one that stands up to detailed knowledge of magic and mages, or that explains everything some people have figured out about us, or that would survive thirty seconds of Sara asking Ryza what Marble Hall is like, but...it would be an explanation.

The harmlessness of this event is quite different depending on which of the three scrolls it is. It would be quite dangerous if it's the "The Dragon Within" scroll.
