Finding the Spark (Pathfinder 1E Quest)

I look at CLW wands as emergency last resort healing options. I'm all about preserving resources, but it'll be fine for Kori to cast one or two CLW spells. It'll be faster, and will presence the wand charges for when they are actually needed.

He has four 1st level, three 2nd level, and three 3rd level spell slots remaining, along with two Mythic power.
Oh... Hmmm.
I view them as the default option after Mina uses her hex. :/
We have what... 117 charges? 167?
And I'm happy to pick up another one or two in Andoran/here when we ask to be reimbursed for our expended resources.

Speed doesn't really matter here imo - the difference between topping up from wands or spells is in the order of 1 to 4 rounds. 6 at the most.
We're gathering bodies and checking the temple for loot/information and traps and such.

Honestly, in terms of time, using the wands now is better because then we'll have the spell slots if we need marginally faster healing later while finding Saenor

Whatever she was turning into, Elywa was getting a significant boost. Her Will save against the stun vial was only +9, but it had increased to +14 against Slumber. That could be because she had a bonus against Sleep or Enchantment effects, or it could represent a sudden sharp increase in HD or Wisdom.

Actually, now that she's dead, can you tell us what Elywa was, @DragonParadox?

Oracle 7/Demoniac 5. Among other things her third eye granted her the power to made any touch spell reached 3/day.

Flesbeasts escape her controll (that is why they were smart enough to run with her)
I am not sure what this says. Elywa was controlling them to run? She couldn't have planned for this.

Just out of curiosity, what was the monster sheet for that this that got killed without making a move? I want to see how it compares to the other champion.
It's Mina who answers: "It's not... open, only a reflection, like holding a mirror to a poisoned sun. They wanted to change the city, they failed so now it's them who are changing, the light out of focus."
How were they planning to change the city? What would have eventually happened, had the hive not been discovered in time?
"Relics of a fallen god, now accursed and whispers of dead rumormongers. Is that what you bring against me children of a broken age? Blood of thieves and cowards? Worry not, Mother takes all, uses all."
And I'd also like to decipher this. 'Relics of a falled god' refers to... Taldans? (though why are they 'accursed'?) or is it about Sirim and Zon Kuthon? and 'whispers of dead rumormongers' to Kori, of the Azlanti descent. Who, then, are thieves and cowards? If 'cowards' refers to the Caligni for seeking shelter underground, who are 'thieves'?

Make sense the elves use this place to disappear people. Don't think you get anything back after being fed to... whatever that is. Hopefully Saenar is not gone for good, it's only been half an hour since his disappearance.

[x] Try to track down Saenar, alive or dead

[] Get back to the surface, get Pisca healed and deal with the WWC
...Is it the WWC that needs to be dealt with? They aren't the ones who dropped people into the flesh warp.

I'm glad we kept her pressured too hard for her to have a chance to Summon any Demons. That could have gotten rough.

I think it's more that she was controlling them to follow her when she ran.

If it was anything like when controlling Undead, she wasn't directly puppeting them individually, but guiding them by example and issuing commands they would then follow until she gave different orders.

With Demons involved? Probably mass Summonings, corrupting the nobility, feeding more commoners into Fleshwarping vats to spawn unholy abominations. You know, just another Lamashan Tuesday.

'Corrupting the nobility'. I understand how it happens with devils, but what do you have to be on to take anything from this source that also stamps its brand on your flesh for all to see? I thought it was the last resort of the damned, like Lilly the Hag who started her coven, not for people with the means.

Then again, we do have nobles among Shax followers, why not a Lamashan cult?

Probably the sort that revel in unbridled hedonism, sadism, wanton abuse of their power and wealth, and the promise (false, of course) that they can indulge themselves without fearing the consequences in the afterlife.

Taldor probably has more of that sort of nobles than most other nations on Golorian, given it's deeply entrenched nobility with relatively few constraints on their power, recent history as an empire in decline, and the general malaise of knowing your nation's patron deity literally died.

I've updated the plan to have Mina use the CLW wand while Kori focuses on helping Cob.
