Why wouldn't we do both.I agree we should present ourselves as a villain on Moltar's show—really HAM it up—but I thought we were planning on working more closely with the government instead of the Guild?

One factor against that is the government only even worked with us because we were not part of the guild and thus not technically a supervillain. So they seem to be mutually exclusive to some level.
I'd much rather work with the government if we play our cards right we could gain much more useful things, who knows if we make them trust us enough we might get some tax cuts.Government is the ideal personally. It's definitely not good so don't get that twisted, but it's also not a mad dog spreading chaos and death. It's also got a fuck ton of resources and people. The goodwill it has and we can gain from it is also good. Just because you have goodwill or a good public perception, doesn't mean you aren't evil.

Speak for yourself, I'd prefer to avoid aligning ourselves too closely with the government (even if a military school sounds tempting). My ideal outcome would be an arrangement similar to what the Guild had*, where the government quietly agrees to leave foiling our evil schemes to the KND or other heroes and we agree to team up against big threats and keep the collateral damage down.I agree we should present ourselves as a villain on Moltar's show—really HAM it up—but I thought we were planning on working more closely with the government instead of the Guild?
The Feds cant officially interact with em do to that undermining their Authority, but I dont think theyre hostile.Speak for yourself, I'd prefer to avoid aligning ourselves too closely with the government (even if a military school sounds tempting). *Or still has, the Google doc says they're not as self-policing as they were originally but I don't know if that's happened yet.
It writes itself.

adding onto this, we absolutely lean into the "Mature" image by going for markets Chris and Moltar are disinterested in pursuing. Boring but important topics like economics and politics.C-Moon said some stuff about his plans for the future and how to craft Father's public image.
That nova comic art we got earlier sums up the short of it. We set up father as a reasonable man, a salt-of-the-earth red blooded American and family man. A conservative, you could call him, up in arms about crafting a strong, productive society.
Father is sane (lol). A villain, to be sure, but preferable to goombas like Perry and Mandy Dark. He's a bad guy, but America's bad guy, a real patriot, Joker hating Nazi's style, or the sorta Doctor-Doomy "this guys an asshole and a tyrant, but damn it, he's made our lives better".
Being on the side of the adults ain't so bad kids! You'll spend most of your life as one, and itsa coming sooner then you think! Ol' Father's gonna make it all preem, don't you worry 'bout that.
Because I can't help but imagine her seeing Izzy playing a role in beating Jasper, doing research, and then coming to the conclusion that the Total Drama participants should not be fucked with... the fact that Chad is there for this season would only make that more believable
(inb4 we accidentally gave Chris a huge rep boost that protected him from Gem attacks)
I'd imagine that the gems haven't consumed too much of Canada and after the beat down we gave them they might stop if only to make it harder to find them.Does Canada even have a wilderness left after the Gems conquered those areas?
Well at least we can attack Chris 's homefront directly ourselves? Any idea on who Chris has for mooks besides underpaid interns?
Canada is Massive man. And Kindergartens take time to set up (They need a Lapis to Carve a Canyon, then to get the Injectors in place, then begin managing the Kindergarten which can take years tmk)Does Canada even have a wilderness left after the Gems conquered those areas?
Maybe mutant animals and some robots?Well at least we can attack Chris 's homefront directly ourselves? Any idea on who Chris has for mooks besides underpaid interns?
Chef. Probably some of the scummier TD contestants like Duncan.

And perhaps that godzilla rip-off from Action as well. There's a local Sasquatch equivalent IIRC. Also some mutant contestants like Ezekiel and that one giant lizard lady
Lol you know what sure lets do it for kicksI have a stupid idea how about we have Toiletnator run for president.
