FATHER QUEST - A Cartoon Network: Villains Victorious CK2-Style Quest Cross Over

I altered the plan to go after the gems since thats probably a good use of stickybeard, and adjusted the operation acronym appropriately

[] Plan T.P.W.A.C.A (The Plan Without A Cool Acronym)
-[] Fight Against the Gem Empire
--[] Stickybeard
-[] Set Up Government Cooperation
--[] Hank Hill
-[] Restructure Adult Co.
--[] Toiletnator
-[] Look for Your Soopervillains
-[] Build an Even Bigger Robot
-[] Read the Family Journals
-[] Call the Moonbase
-[] Go Through Your Rolodex
-[] Check on Peggy and Bobby
-[] Deal with Numbuh 13
-[] Recruit a Hero: Izzy

How's this for a plan?

Edit: name pending folks, if you have a better acronym I am very desperate.
I would rather the ice cream flavor for the learning action.

... You want... Toiletnator... to be our government outreach? I just noticed that. If we want to be taken seriously by the government thats... probably not the best move?
We are in diplo mode rage wise right now so it would be Father that does the out reach I'm thinking. Toiletnator would thus be more like a secretary.

Also Hank Hill is the CEO and thus should do the stewardship action.

I figured it out. We can assign Toiletnator as the taste tester for the ice cream flavors, and that will let us be wildly irresponsible with the testing! He'd eat laxative flavored Ice Cream for us if we asked

[] Operation: ? (TBD name)
-[] Fight Against the Gem Empire (80 DC)(37 + ?)
--[] Stickybeard
-[] Set Up Government Cooperation (60 DC)(26 + 8 + 2 = 36 bonii)
--[] Toiletnator
-[] Restructure Adult Co. (65 DC)(19 + 22 + 4 = 45 bonii)
--[] Hank Hill
-[] Look for Your Soopervillains (60 DC)(22 bonii)
-[] Invent New Ice Cream Flavor (60 DC)(19 bonii)
-[] Read the Family Journals (60 DC)(15 bonii)
-[] Recruit a Hero: Izzy
-[] Call the Moonbase
-[] Go Through Your Rolodex
-[] Check on Peggy and Bobby
-[] Deal with Numbuh 13

Gem Empire fighting is something that should help us with goodwill and making sure the Gems don't break the defensive line into U.S. soil. Ideally that should have synergy with Setting up government Cooperation, which is our only real choice in Diplomacy as we still don't have Adult Co. up yet. Invent New Ice Cream Flavor is a priority over Investigate 2x4 Technology due to rage loss, having a lower DC, opening income for sure, and giving us a potential hero recruit. Family Journals just are a clear higher priority due to the path the thread is pushing for. Looking for your Soopervillains is the one I'm iffy on but honestly with no hero, Father having the debuff, and it being higher DC I'm willing to just establish this here.

Stickybeard goes on Martial as him being an agent means he should be at least somewhat more expendable and I frankly expect him to have more Martial than our other two heroes. Hank is our only Steward and the CEO so he naturally stays on Restructuring Adult Co. so it can be properly set up. Toiletnator is not ideal and I can see the argument to swap him and Hank but I'm somewhat loathe to shift it from Hank here on principle as Adult Co feels like a minor bottleneck.

For personals, we need to use 2 to recruit into the time locked heroes and Izzy is the crit unit while our Occult options are lowkey so far. Moonbase is so we can finish up the progress bar. Go Through Your Rolodex is just that we'll need to get it set up at some point, so might as well do it early. Hank checks up on Peggy and Bobby to set things out for them and I want him to have restructuring or some other win under his belt before introducing him to the true nature of his job. And Numbuh 13 is obvious.

My problem with rolodex is that will just add EVEN MORE hero options to the hiring pool, and since it takes 2 personals to hire thats going to be a massive clutter.

The chapter itself was fun; it's good to have Sticky beard, even if we don't have his stats yet, and Father's thought process is interesting

Okay, nice there's a moratorium this time for discussion; the two actions I most want are restructure adult co, since we'll just keep falling behind without it, and read family journals, because it interests me.

For the hiring option, I lean towards Izzy or Hex

That's a good point. The stock market is useless if we can't take advantage of it with our company

And the family journals probably have information on artifacts and quests in them.

I wonder if the KND Book technically counts as a family journal, Monty wrote in it

It would be good to help figure out who to hire.

And it's better than the other options right now imo, saving the barbecue or toasty until we need the rage decrease or to actually have more people to invite to the barbecue.

Thats true, and I am missing a personal, so I guess I'll put it in. God, Building plans is tiring

And? Since Ice Cream is something I'm angling for I don't think going for a rage decreaser is necessary here, which cuts out Toasty and eating Ice Cream. I'd rather wait till we have more heroes for the barbecue. And I have no interest in the Count frankly.

This leaves the rolodex, which let's us get a good idea of potential future options for recruitment. And the talk of business cards in the rolodex gives me hope that there might be some system that gives us a it more grounding on what each potential hero may be able to do.

Already added it, I was missing a personal anyway.

And hopefully the rolodex would give the possible heroes stats Father we'll know in order to see what they can provide for us.

I'm just going to trim all the excess stuff from my plan. The descriptions are mostly unnecessary

[] Plan Operation G.E.M K.I.D.S (Grind Enemy Minerals, Komplete Investigations, Diplomance Suits)
-[] Fight Against the Gem Empire
--[] Asign Stickybeard
-[] Set Up Government Cooperation
--[] Assign Hank Hill
-[] Restructure Adult Co.
-[] Look into Aliens
-[] Invent New Ice Cream Flavor
--[] Assign Toiletnator (as taste tester)
-[] Read the Family Journals
-[] Call the Moonbase
-[] Go Through Your Rolodex
-[] Check on Peggy and Bobby
-[] Deal with Numbuh 13

I swapped Hank and Toiletnator, was initially afraid that such a.... unique individual would give the government a wrong impression of us, but yeah we need to get Adult Co up and running again fast, and he is our only stewardship hero. Not budging on anything else though.

My worry is that Often, heroes assigned to a option can impact what you get out of the option. If Toiletnator is not acting as just a secretary, we might get different results then if we assigned Hank. And honestly, Assigning Hank to reach out to the government is just as much of a CEO action as restructuring the company, IMO.

Ughhhhh I know, it's just I want the company to succeed and actually work more than I'm worried about Toiletnator making a bad impression. I'm just hoping and coping by imagining it's more Father takes charge while a loyal minion works as the secretary in the background as help, and not, Agent goes to meeting point, Toiletnator is tping a house while waiting, he negotiates a deal.

Let's see, we're on Turn 2, we have until Turn 3 for Orpheus, Izzy and Hex. Well, crud. And we can only recruit one per turn? Whew, alright. I'd say Izzy is the best choice given her utility in most skills; she's not gonna be the best fighter (girl runs from bears and doesn't outmatch the athletics like Eva in the show), but her Intrigue is likely going to be her best stat and I want her working with us.

After that, I'd like to grab Hex - Orpheus is a solid choice, but I prefer Hex for what he brings to the table in terms of professionalism as well as an abundance of knowledge on magical artifacts the world wide. If anyone is likely to have knowledge of things like the Shen Gong Wu from Xiaolin Showdown, it's likely to be Hex.

>inb4 toiletnator either rolls another 13 and causes a bad luck recursion or rolls a 100 and somehow ends up gaining a bad luck trait that only impacts enemies
