Summary: We all know what happens when Rin summons future Shirou, but what happens when Shirou summons future Rin.

Shirou was transfixed by the man in red fighting the man in blue. The man in blue had a wicked spear and Shirou somehow instinctively knew that Spear held a wicked curse. Even so, the man in red and the man in blue were putting on a fight worthy of top-tier martial artist and Hollywood special effects. He was so transfixed by the fight, he became unaware of his surroundings and accidentally backed up against the fence, creating a loud noise. Seeing the two men and Rin turn to him, he figured he should not be here. Shirou did his best Usain Bolt impression and booked it. It was to no avail however. The man in blue was following him, just waiting for an opportunity to get him alone. he couldn't go to the Matou manor and he doubted Taiga would be much help. Silently praying to any god who might listen, he booked it to his workshop.

He was not surprised when the man in blue was hot on his heals.

"Nothing personnel kid," he said, as he prepared to end Shirou's life. The man in blue would have finished Shirou off right then, when suddenly the floor lit up from under neath him.

"I ask of you, are you my master," a raven haired woman in her mid thirties asked. She knelt in the middle of the circle and had dressed herself in a muted red sweater with a full length black skirt with black heels. Shirou could have sworn this was Toshaka's mother. Before he could even answer the question, she growled, "Lancer...." and three gemstones suddenly shot forth and exploded. The explosions rocked the tool shed, and Shirou had to take cover.

"Alas, fair lady I love this dance, but my master's a coward," the man in blue said, before running off into the night.

Shirou blinked. The woman he summoned blinked.

"By the root, I have to deal with your teenage self again?" the servant said.

"Do I know you?" Shirou asked.

"Yes. Or rather, you will know me and have known me. That's not important right now. I'm servant caster and we are in the grail war. And I need to stop you from doing something stupid. Though if you have not summoned saber...," the woman called caster trailed off. She seemed to think of it for a second and thought better of it.

"Prepare a pot of tea. Also, peel a couple of lemons and zest a couple of oranges. We should be having guests shortly," the woman said.

Shirou, always willing to help people, did as she asked. <BANG><BANG><BANG> someone knocked loudly on the door.

"Emiya?" "Toshaka?" two voices exclaimed in surprise.

"Ooh, is that earl grey with lemon peel and orange zest? How did you know my favorite," Toshaka asked.

"I did not, mmmphh" Emiya suddenly had a hand on his mouth, preventing him from saying anything.

"Let me do the talking," Caster ordered. Emiya, still confused, decided to go with it. So doing, Emiya led the group to a table that seemed relatively intact despite the events of the night. Warm beverages have the tendency to make people more comfortable, and as such Emiya had prepared a large pot tea. He just hoped no one from Boston was present.

Caster had not thought this through. Without Emiya burning a command seal to save Archer, Rin had no reason to speak. As such, Caster decided to take the initative.

"I'd like to have an alliance with you until there are only two servants remaining," caster said.

"Why would I agree to that? I have to compete with him for the prize," Toshaka surprised.

"I can save Sakura from Shinji," Caster boasted.

"What? How? Why do you even?" Toshaka was clearly surprised by the offer, and could not coplete a coherent sentence in her flustered state.

"Servant caster, telepathic, and not stupid. Emiya has already punched Shinji, and I am willing to bet that there are more problems that she does not speak of. But that is a problem for future us. Do we have an accord?" Caster asked. Rin shook her hand.

OOC: This was originally supposed to go for humor, but like most things in the Nasuverse it gets dark quickly. Plot definitely has potential, even if I haven't figured out what would have happened with Medea out of the war. Also, saber is such a core piece of Emiya's character it's not funny. She features prominently in every route, and a couple of bad ends in HF has Shirou trying to save Saber. Definitely an interesting character study of Emiya if I decide to continue it.

The Other Caster of Gems
Shirou was on his last stand. The man in blue had chased him to his workshop. He was concussed, bleeding, and without something radically changing soon, he knew he would die. Not even thinking about it, he dripped blood on the shed and a bright blue light came forward. Suddenly, a blond girl with long ojou curls wasted no time getting into close quarters combat with the man in blue. Somehow, she managed to do a fairly good impersonation of a human forklift, grabbing lancer spinning him and spinnig him around before tossing him out into the yard. While the man in blue was airborne, she jumped up, and then seemingly bounced off something driving his head into the ground.

"I ask of you, are you my master," a blond haired woman in her early twenties asked. She knelt in the middle of the circle and had goregous long blond hair in flowing locked curls. Not waiting for an answer , only had one word for the man in blue.

"Master?" Shirou asked, still unsure of what exactly was happening.

Suddenly, his hand bursts into pain, and 3 symbols appear on it.

"So, the contract is sealed," the woman in blue comments.

Shirou struggles to get up, but even he can hear the sounds of combat outside. He struggles to make sense of it. A blonde girl is somehow manhandling the man in blue.

"What is she? What is he?And how did I get caught up in this?" Shirou thinks aloud, not really expecting an answer. He sees the servants, and Lancer cannot get away from the girl to use his weapon effectively. Somehow, amidst the chaos one of them finally over extends and lancer ends up a few meters from the woman in blue.

"Ordinarily I would love to entertain a lady, but my master is a coward, and yours seems inept. You want to call it even?" he asked. The woman in blue thought about it for a moment and agreed.

"Yes. I hate leaving things half-done but there is much I need to do. Truce for two days?" the woman in blue asked.

"Very well," the man in blue agreed before jumping out into the night.

"I am sure you have questions, but we have another enemy servant headed our way," she declared, slowly getting ready for another spell.

"Servant? What are you ..." Shirou asked.

"Gandr" she casts. Suddenly, an emerald juts out of her hand and goes in a high arc over the gate to another person.

<BOOM>. An explosion lights up the night.

Not thinking about it anymore, Shirou runs outside the gate to see the destruction. The woman in blue is now manhandling the man in red. Though the man has a seemingly infinite number of swords, the blue woman is once again grappling with a man who has at least 4 stones of muscle on her. The man in red seems surprised by the moves, as if he was expecting something else.

In any case, the man in red is knocked down to the ground and temporarily cannot move.

""The Edelfelt's Kaliedoscope" the woman in blue casts. The man in red performed a decent impersonation of a dragonball villain as the waves of gemstones and energy utterly annihilated him.

The woman in blue turns to Toshaka, and has a smile that Shirou does not think is healthy.

"As for you, young master, I think you should become my maid," the woman in blue smirks. Toshaka, not really having a choice in the matter, utters a few curse words about how she shouldn't have saved an idiot and acquieses to the request since she really has no course not to.

"As you wish," Toshaka declares.

"Wait a minute, I have questions," Shirou finally gets a word in edgewise.

"Now that we have a few minutes, I'll be happy to answer them. You may call me Caster, master." the woman in blue answers.

"I am Shirou Emiya," he replies still thoroughly confused.

"These introductions are all well and good but you might wish to inform the overseer at the Church of your summoning and Shirou's entry," Rin stated.

"A good idea, but that is nothing that cannot wait until tomorrow. In the meantime, you should acquire some clothes suitable for your new position. I need to have some boots polished,"the lady in blue declared.

Gritting her teeth, Rin replied "V..e..r..y W..ell".

"So Caster, would you be able to teach me magic?" Shirou asks.

"Oh, you mean you did not intentionally summon me. Oh my, we have much to go over. For now though, that can wait. Lancer did a number on you and you still need to recover. Let's call it a night and we can reconvene in the morning. You should also call in sick," Caster commented.

"Not sure if I will call in sick, but I definitely could use some rest," Shirou said and went back into his house.

OOC: This one, Shirou summons Luvia. The premise for this one is Luvia driving Ren insane while Shirou learns magic and plays the war definsively rather than offensively. Might be continued, since this one didn't get as dark as the one where he summons future!Rin.
