Fate/Proto Apocrypha

The year is 2017. The location is Tokyo. The purpose is the Holy Grail War. In theory, it should have been a war like any other. Seven Servants under Seven Masters fighting to obtain the Holy Grail, a grand wish making device that could grant any desire, be it something mundane, or something more in line with the destruction of the world.

It wasn't that long ago, that the day came where disaster almost lit up the world. However, the crisis was averted, and all seemed well. The Grail has laid dormant until today.

Seven souls gained seven Command Spells. Seven Servants will come forth to war for the Holy Grail, as was foretold.

However, the spectre of an eighth soul remains…

Welcome to Fate/Proto Apocrypha. I'm looking for up to seven masters and seven servants to serve in a Holy Grail War that takes place in Tokyo, in a setting not entirely dissimilar to that of Fate/Prototype. Submissions are to be made via PM. While you can use one of the templates below, I am not particularly picky on the format that is submitted to me. The only rule there, metaphorically, is that you must not use the Beast Class and you must include enough detail that I can make a decision; the more details I have to figure out for myself, the more likely I am to reject your application out of hand. Yes, that means if you can work out a hack ahead of time, the Ruler and Avenger classes are not, strictly speaking, off limits.

The rules are, relatively speaking, simple. People will die. If people do not post, they will eventually be eaten by the almighty plot hole. Whether you decide to work together or not is up to you, but there is, ultimately, one rule that must be abided by.

There can only be one winner.

Submission in. Cleaned it up from the last time I submitted it, but it's time to see if, this time, I can get into an RP as the Messiah. :V

Whaaat. Christian, Islam or Judaism? Cuz I've got this idea of a Mashiach kicking about my head for a while now and I wouldn't want to submit the same Servant.

First (old) submission sent in. Really unsure about it, but that's why I'll have more in time...

@BlackHadou are Crossover Servants OK?

Or just History?
Um, how should I put this.

If you were to, say, take a Sengoku Basara character and sufficiently justify using it over its historical counterpart, I won't question too much. The character you submit does have to have either a historical counterpart or be a public domain fiction character, though. If your trying to get in Moriarity, you'll probably succeed, bar me getting a submission I like better. If you try to submit Jiraiya, you'll have to do a way better job to link it to Japanese myth.

Is that understandable, or am I rambling?

Ooooh.

Okay, yeah, got it.

are non-human but humanoid servants fine

you know, like how tamamo-no-mae or chiron are canonically able to be servants

I take it that Mythical Heroes are fine since ancient greeks would've died from doing such intensive exercise as to mimic a bronze wall? :V
