Last vote of character creation, once this one is done we'll start up the story!
In order to get in to the Royal University of Etheric Studies, a prospective student must be able to preform an act of wizardry. Wizardry is the pure manipulation of ether to create an effect, a particularly difficult ability that usually takes a lot of training and meditation over the course of years to use. Technically anyone can do wizardry, but particularly talented individuals can manifest wizardry without any training, usually around puberty. For this reason, the University is filled with natural talents from all over the world, as well as children who were tutored in wizardry from a young age (a luxury only some can afford).
As our main character is the child of a burgher and a priestess, her family lacks the resources for a wizard to tutor her. She is a natural talent, and since manifesting wizardry at 15, has been dreaming of going to the University.
What magical effect does our mc produce with her wizardry? The effect should be fairly minor, but distinctly magical. An example would be "Stone manipulation" which would mean that they could use wizardry to reshape and otherwise manipulate stone, but generally nothing larger than small pebbles. Note that this will not affect what magics the mc will be able to learn.
