Hello everyone, to a rather rare sight. A story involving Ah My Goddess… and it isn’t even a crossover. Some of you may know me for my Touhou or MHA efforts, with my MHA story now completed I’m starting something new, and starting something on SV for the first time that isn’t a oneshot series...

This is where I'll be putting oneshots as they pop into my brain, in addition, I'll have regular votes going for random little things. Expect most if not all to be romantic in nature, for I am a sappy motherfucker, but in any case, let us begin with...

[Midna]

"Gods dammit Link…" Midna found that she had been saying that quite a bit lately. She had been pleased, thrilled even when the idiotically brave farm boy found another way to enter… or perhaps the better word would be, 'break into' the realm of Twilight. The fact that he had found a way
specifically because he wanted to spend more time with her? It brought her an almost unbelievable feeling of joy, not that she would ever admit that, of course.
Not publicly, in any case.
Said feeling of joy, like most things in life, was temporary. As the joy that came from being around Link lasted precisely as long as it took for the Hero to get bored. Which was, as it turned out, an astonishingly short measure of time.
Midna's fingers slipped into the cracks between the twin doors that led to the inner sanctum of the Imperial Treasury. The light proffered by them, usually a dim visible blue, was no longer present, a sign that someone had turned off the magical wards that kept the door from being open. Though even with that, if one did not have the royal bloodline or
explicit permission, the guardian automatons on the inside would make short work of anyone that dared to intrude.
That was, of course, the theory. One of the automatons, rather odd to look at spider-things all, was standing perfectly still with the Dominion Rod laying just beside it. Another was desperately trying to free itself from the floor where it's legs had been doused in a sticky chuu jelly. A loud
stomping drew the princess's attention over to the final two, where one was rapidly chasing another, the 'prey' in this distance, being marked by a fishing pole attached to its forehead with what looked to be some form of… cheese. The dangling bait is enough to cause its fellow automaton to chase after it like a hound after a bird.
At the far end of the room, in a little nook roughly half the space of the 'lobby' where the guards resided, was the treasure vault itself. A square space filled with rows upon rows of shelves, upon which then sat priceless and ancient treasures going as far back as the original tribes of the Twili. And within
that, standing amidst the treasures was a young man with golden hair, he was idly reorganizing the treasures within the vault, the robes he had been granted by the princess hanging off of in him shreds, but, unlike the robes, the man… child, had nothing in the way of apparent injury.
Link turned at the sound of the doors to the vault opening, a bright and cheery smile on his face as he looked towards Midna. Said cheery look lasted as long as it took him to recognize the bevy of guards surrounding the princess.
Midna came to a stop just shy of the interior vault, her hands moved to her hips as she glared at the 'Hero'. "
Hero, sweetie? Mind telling me what you are doing in the forbidden treasure vaults?"
The princess knew damn well there was nothing actually 'forbidden' inside it, but that was the name her ancestors gave it, so it stuck. Frankly, she couldn't care less about what was actually inside, but the fact that someone had broken in, even if it was Link, irked her.
Link stared at her for several pregnant seconds, then looked around the room. "Reorganizing."
"And
why are you doing that?" Midna asked.
Link blinked slowly. "You were taking a while in your meeting," he replied, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Midna processed that, for a good long while, in fact. Her thoughts briefly going over the tantalizing thought of simply blowing up the vault with Link inside it. But another, more traitorous part of her brain happily informed her that the Hero would likely survive, much like a roach tends to survive a boot. She then let out a sigh, raising her hands and dismissing the guards that followed her.
Her hand moved to idly rub at her brow, her head shaking from side to side before her eyes once more found themselves resting on her 'consort'. The term was a strange one to the princess, but then, so was he. A Hyrulian in the realm of the Twili, and for the past few months seemingly none the worse for it. He had grown paler, for certain, his skin approaching but not quite at the light blue tone so common in her species. But he was far from the gaunt forms they tended to favor, no, the farm boy had actually
gained weight. Through no small effort on Midna's part, the princess had fought hard to replace his diet of milk and goat cheese with actual meat and a balanced diet.
Letting out a sigh, she stepped forward, closing the doors to the vault behind her and leaving them both in the small treasury room. The stuffy air annoyed her, but she ignored it, continuing to focus on Link, at least the usual scent of dust was replaced by that of sweat and blood, something she was… very used to smelling around the Hyrulian. "Does the mark of courage mean you can't sit still? Or is that just your stupidity?"
The farm boy stared at her for several long moments, before he shrugged his shoulders. "Tested the defenses."
"Is that why you are holding the broken shards of my great-grandfather's ceramics?" Midna asked, more amused than angry.
Link blinked, then looked down at the shattered ceramics he had been holding, having apparently forgotten about it in the confusion. "Accident." He replied, in the usual curt way of his.
Midna smiled despite herself. Just like him as usual, breaking into a place he wasn't supposed to be and destroying something priceless in the process. But then, she rather liked that about him. "You dragged me away from
very important queenly duties."
Link opened his mouth, probably to apologize, Midna figured. But she shushed him with a finger against his lips. "I'll have to break something in return."
The farm boy tilted his head, not quite getting the innuendo.
Then her robes dissipated.
Link got a lot of things after that.
