The two of them look at me with a surprised look. I wonder why?
"Wow.... where did that come from?" Orange guy is looking at me curiously as he asked that.
"Dunno. I just thought it was a good name?"
I can't really understand it. But I think it was an appropriate name.
They slowly nodded. After that, Orange Guy gestured to the large guy.
"Then, Tanya. This is Gregor the Snail. Despite his appearance, he's a cool guy!"
"It is nice to meet you, Miss Tanya." He politely lowered his head.
"Nice to meet you too!"
Gregor looks at me for a bit. "So what are you doing?"
"She's staying here for tonight. Dunno if she'll join, but I hope she did. She's pretty chill. Though, she have a large appetite."
Why did he have to whisper his last sentence? I can still hear him!
"I see." He looks at me again. "This might be brief, but it is nice meeting you." After that, he walked passed us.
"Hm? Where are you going?"
He stops before turning my way. "I'm going to serve customers. I just took a break awhile ago." He pointed on the bartender's desk while saying that.
"Oh. Sorry for stopping you."
He just nodded at me before continuing on his walk.
Now then, I have eaten something and I will be staying here for tonight. I don't know what I'll do next other than that.
After passing the time on the club and taking another meal, courtesy of the Orange Guy, I finally asked to be led to my room. Newter is the one who led me to the second floor again before we arrived in one of the farthest doors here.
"Here's your room." He said before opening the door.
He steps aside as I look at the room they are lending me. It was an old room that seems to be maintained, but not used for a long time. There aren't any decorations inside other than a single bed, a drawer, a chair, and hanging light bulb.
"Sorry about that. We're not using this room so it was like that. Don't worry, our janitors cleans this place once a week." He reassured me with a thumbs up.
"Okay. Thanks."
"No problem! Just call someone when you need something!" He told me with a wave as he turned back.
Call someone... what if they got scared of me!?
"Wait!" He stops and looks at me. "What if they got scared of me?"
He just smiled at me. "Don't worry. Most people here are used to us. So they won't discriminate. Boss Lady made sure to hire the right people." He seems confident with that.
Well... they're the one living here so I think I'll take him to his words.
I closed the doors and then look on the room.
Hmm... I think this is fine. I can sleep here comfortably.
The bed is unnecessary. I don't know why, but I somehow know I can sleep while standing. I think it is something called a Dormant State or something, though I don't know where I got that term.
For now, I felt like going to that Dormant State. I don't want to wait all night and just stand on the club, hearing those loud people.
So I tried to sleep.... surprisingly, I managed to get to my Dormant State without even waiting for it. It's like, when I wanted to sleep, all my cells just obeyed and become mostly inactive.
This is more like I am in low activity mode, where I am just resting while still feeling vaguely aware of my surroundings. This might be the closest thing I can get to sleeping.

Who am I? Where am I?
... Wait, I am Tanya. And I am currently resting on one of the rooms at that bar that still acts like a nightclub.
I can still feel myself in my Dormant State, vaguely feeling the vibrations and noises from the distance. The insects moving on the corner of this room.
But, in a way that I can't understand, I also found myself in this darkness. In this space where I can't feel the ground on my feet, the hold of the gravity, and anything else other than being aware that I am here.
How did that happen? I can feel that I am sleeping and at the same time, I'm also in this dark space?
Is that even normal...?
Hm? What's this? I can feel another option within my mind. Along with that option is my senses, my other awareness that is stuck on this dark space, slowly turning coherent. I can see the outline of the buildings, and then the world slowly having it's colors.
Though, it felt like it was stuck, like it won't be complete if I didn't choose something within me... again...
I have an instinctive knowledge that, if I don't choose on my mental options, I won't progress. Like everything is on pause, and reality is telling me to choose something within.
With no choice, I look through my options. It is still the same, but somehow, I can feel some new options included in it. I wonder what it is?
But I think I need to choose. After that, I felt that things will proceed after choosing something.

Everytime an Act is finished, you will be forced to choose something dangerous again. Of course, you can still control your previous characters.
I already plan to put multiple characters here that you can use. I assure you, it won't become complicated. I already have a plan how you will be able to command all the characters you pick.

My reasons for choosing this are simple. Magic. Egyptian magic. And the process of making mummies has always fascinated me. Most ot the others seem pretty slef-explanatory, but I don't think we'd be sure of how this one works or operates. Will we be undead? Make undead? Perhaps our powers have to do with the religious significance of how mummies were preserved?

The main rational reason for taking the Flower over the mummy, for me is that I think that we need to do everything to avoid being labeled an S-class threat. I want us to have as much public opinion on our side in order to prevent that.
And cute Flowers are more PR friendly than Mummies.

Well I don't think that flowers are a non-threat. Have you seen what some of them can do, especially one like the Nerium oleander, that smells so wonderfully sweet, and is so horrificly poisonus. Or the ever famous Rafflesia, a giant-seeming flower that's technically a parasite cluster, leeching off of larger vegetation? Flora and fauna are underrated in their danger, especially flowers partifularly. The defenseive measures created by plants can vary, and are widely creative. And I think a slime that can consume a massive tank, burn holes in asphalt by existing, and change their biochemistry on a whim is pretty scary. It's not so much how we look (though, I will admit that certain powers are terrifying to behold) but about how we apply it.
Tch, public-stereo typing. Mere calumnies. And in this world of power and fantasies, surely people understand better about powers, and are more forgiving? Nobody was really even scared of our good ole' slime, just curious, as displayed by their eagerness to take photos.
Tsk tsk, but where's the merit in making our own food automatically by photosynthesis? It completely negates the need to manually it, and by proxy, takes away the fun of eating food!
