I've been mulling an idea in my head. An Urban Fantasy story based around Lovecraftian mages. Where magic is common place and Lovecraftian madness has become mundane. The necronomicon is studied like a physics textbook. People post cute shoggoth videos on YouTube.
Strong mages could even Invoke the elder God's and summon avatars of them for combat and such.
Sound too weird? Been trying to developed the Idea for a few hours. If anyone wants to help me develop it I'll gladly accept the help.
