Ok so lets say during the Age of Strife Eldar decide to help out humanity, reasons being that most of the Seers saw Humans and Eldar working together as a good thing, and the fact that they're BOTH being screwed by what's happening.
Later on, during the crusades the Emperor sees eldar actually 100% helping multiple human worlds and decides to make an Alliance with them.
How would things be different and what will the Imperium look like from here on out?

Yes, relations will be strained until a lot of little details are worked out (like exterminating the dark eldar)
