Under a black sky on a mountain top stood a figure. He looked upon the sacrifice offered a newborn crying for the mother whose blood was already spilt. The child was the last of many blood spilled to break a wall never breech to twist the law of what was and let lose a calamity on those who dwealt.
The figure was made of rusted metal and frost bitten flesh and in his hand was a blade of bone. The man looked to the empty sky and hated.
He had been great once a figure of power and awe. Nations had wept tears of joy at his passing, wonders had been crafted by his hand. The suns blessing had been apon him for all to see.
Now what was he? A shell clinging to a half-life in service of creatures both pitiful and horrifying.

If I ask you to roll the dice for an outcome please give an honest answer as to the result.
Certain options will be weighted, meaning that votes for them count for more. Weighted Options are those that are in line with Saeko's personality and values.
Note about voting: Regular voting is perfectly fine. However giving reasons for your vote will make me consider it more carefully than just "[X] Option".
I encourage readers to come up with write-ins describing such things as upcoming posts or options you're voting for (Called 'Stunting'). Doing this gets you extra dice called Stunt Dice the number of which depend on how impressive the write-in is, and a good enough write in can result in options gaining more weight.
I may subtly change a write-in so it doesn't contradict future plans or information I have kept concealed. The author of a write-in will receive full acknowledgment.
Saeko's Charms, Weapons and Armour will be listed in her charcter sheet. Using charms will normally be included in a vote when it comes up, however you can write in charm use whenever you'd like.
Discussion over mechanics and moral choices is allowed even encouraged however if a debate gets out of hand I will step in and ask the debate to stop. Failure to comply will have consequences.
Exaltations
To clarify yes, Saeko is going to become an Exalted and she isn't the only one. However what type of Exaltation she gets depends on the choices you make throughout the game. Her starting character build and location predispose her to specific Exaltation types but if you make the right choices you can get any type of Exalted Saeko you want.
Earth and Creation are separate places in this game, the exact relationship between the two and the metaphysics involved are something you'll have to research in game if you want answers.
You will get the option of travelling to Creation/Malfeas/Yu-Shan/The Wyld/The Underworld later in game.

Prologue: Summer Days Part 1
You wake with a groan the bed covers lying across your body. You shift around and after determining that your not going back to sleep anytime soon, you open your eyes and get up.
Your apartment is lavishly decorated polished wood and marble finishes, a chandelier above your head and a Fan and AC pumping glorious cool air into the rooms. Without the fan and AC your pretty sure you would have baked, god is it hot in Dubai
You check yourself out in the mirror, long purple hair and blue eyes. You're tall for your age and have a fair bit of muscle. You're quite well endowed for a high schooler, your father loudly blamed your figure on all the fatty foods for sale these days. Which was nonsense, you exercised harder and longer than half your grade put together and had eaten fast food exactly once for a bet.
You perk up as your boyfriend Takashi enters the room. He's fully dressed and carrying a plate of food. He sees you up and his faces falls comically.
"Aw dammit Saeko I went to the trouble of making you breakfast in bed and you're already up?"
You feel yourself blush, Takashi was constantly doing things for you, making you breakfast in bed, cheering you on in Kendo tournaments, holding your hand on walks and the like. It was sweet and your vane enough to admit that being praised constantly feels good.
"Well its my fault if we had a more entertaining night you would have slept in and I could have presented my awesome girlfriend with a meal in bed."
You roll your eyes, Takashi had been a perfect gentlemen so far in your relationship, mostly because your father threatened to cut his privates off and feed them to him if he pushed you into anything. You had a great time last night, the latest Avengers Movie had been fun to watch and you had gotten a few kisses and a backrub out of Takashi while it was playing.
You eat your breakfast quickly and get dressed in a white T shirt and pants. Takashi shamelessly watches you get dressed and when your finshed speaks.
"Well your Dad's caught the early flight out to see that French guy about lessons. So we have the day to ourselves and your dad left a bit of money what do you want to do for the day?"
Your eyes are drawn to the wooden practice sword in your luggage. Whatever you do its coming with you. It's a bad habit but one you can't (won't) break.

You suggest that you have a quiet morning, your in the lap of Luxury might as well enjoy it. So you spend the next couple of hours relaxing, you go for a swim and try and keep as much of your body under the water because outside the air conditioned rooms you feel like your cooking. You and Takashi order non Alcholic drinks at the swim up bar clink glasses together and laugh when the other gets brain freeze.
You go back to your room and shivering wet under the Air con you watch a Sci if flick that had been popular a while back, the special effects are average and the plots predictable but you enjoy it all the same.
You have a hot shower to get the pools chlorine off you and as the hot water runs over your body you make a decision. You like Takashi he's interested in you: not your body or your talents but you and maybe you've come to be interested in him. Right now your affectionate the odd light kiss or held hand but you decide you want more.
You walk out of the shower only partly dressed and find Takashi.
"So" he asks "What do you want to do next?"
"Well I can think of a few ideas" you say in a eager voice and then you lean over and kiss him hard on the lips.
"Ah! Saeko what are you - " he gasps in shock, oh he's blushing how cute. You let yourself smirk as you press up against him.
He staggers back against your bed. You want to have your fun now.
Something dark and hungry inside you shifts and before you know it your straddling him, pinning him to the bed with your body weight like prey beneath the predators paw.
You lean down and take what's yours.
An hour later you lie panting on the much abused bed. You look over at Takashi and see in his eyes what you know is reflected in your own

A while after Takashi decides to get out of the bedroom and hit the beach. You get dressed and put enough sunscreen to sink a battleship.
After talking to your driver ,a respectably formal man by the name of Daisuke, you are taken by car to the beach.
Upon arriving you put down beach towels and start eyeing the water the heat of Dubai is still very much in effect.
(KER KLUNCK)
Your revelry is broken by a noise. Loud and metallic like gears shifting. Then things go strange.
Takashi points towards the Sea and exclaims "Is that a ship?"
You look where he's pointing and see them, because there's far more than just one. They look like giant rusted whales slowly coming closer. Lining the horizon are hundreds of black masses made rotting flesh hammered on metal.
Before you can begin to,process the weirdness there a sound like a gun shot and something black and oily a tentacle or chain whips out and grasp a beachgower and drags them screaming back across the waters surface towards the black whatever's.
It's like a switch had been thrown everyone starts screaming and trying to get away from the water. Takashi grasp you and together you run for your lives. Your wooden practise sword is in your hand, you can't remember when you grabbed it.
You almost make it then something claps around your waist like an iron band. Before you can take a breath to cry out you are dragged back over the sand fast enough that you feel the skin of your legs being scraped off. You have a glimpse of Takashi being dragged by a similar bond.
From the sand you hit the water, your pulled like a cork out of a bottle. Your blind, your deaf, you can't breathe because your skipping over the water like a stone.
You have a sudden sense of pressure then everything goes black.
When you wake your in what can only be described as a giant clear plastic bag hanging from pipping. You can see a corridor cut out of metal and rotting flesh outside. Your egg/pod is one of a line of identical containers. In each pod with varying degrees of wakefulness are people, judging from their clothes they were trapped on the beach like you were.
Your wooden practice sword is somehow still in your hand it must have been seized by whatever got you.
You see frantic movement out of the corner of your eye. Something is happening in one of the pods, from an opening in the pods top thick grey leeches are falling like rain onto the screaming occupant. The leeches attached to the struggling prisoner.
Before your eyes the captive changes. The body stiffens, the eyes roll back they start to foam at the mouth. After the change is completed the leeches crawl off their subject and slither up into the pipes. The pipes linked to all the other pods.
Oh Shit.
The used pod opens and the new ... Zombie staggers out and stands to attention.
You don't have long before the leeches reach your pod. You have to ........
Short term Actions Choose One
[ ] The pod/egg sack doesn't look to resilient maybe if you kick and punch and claw at it enough you can tear it and get out.
[ ] The practice sword is in your hand it's blunt but maybe you can use the point to puncture a hole in this thing.
[ ] Maybe you can use your remaining clothes to block the pipe the Leechs use to enter your prison and buy you time to work out a more sure fire escape plan.
[ ] Give up stop struggling and accept your fate.
[ ] Take your own life before the leeches get you.
