"Play it..."
You hold onto the harp, before looking at the man. "Go on," he says, the sickly green glow brightening, but then a golden light parts the clouds. You look up, and-
You're awake. Getting out of bed, you stretch and get your normal clothes on.
You're happy you're in a rather tall tree, since you look through your sister's telescope onto the kingdom of Hyrule. To the far east stands Mount Lanayru, and closer east are Lanayru's swamps and Great Spring, with the colossal mechanical elephant gazing over the fields.
West is the Tabantha region, with the steel bird and the Hebra mountain range to the north of that. South is Lake Hylia, and beyond that, the fields and jungles of Faron.
Northeast is the Eldin region, with Death Mountain presiding over it. A being like the elephant and bird, but this one a lizard, prowls the slopes of the volcano. The Tower of Hera also stands there, indomitable. You also see the Akkala region, with Fort Akkala standing tall.
Southwest is the Gerudo region, with its namesake desert and mountain range, along with that weird coliseum-like structure surrounded by pillars. A camel-shaped construct lives in that area.
Last but not least is the Necluda region, with the most prominent landmark being the Dueling Peaks. It borders the Lanayru region, of course, seeing how Mount Lanayru is like a border of sorts.
Going to a cabinet, you pull out wheat imported from the Tabantha region, along with rock salt. Taking it to the stove, you cook up some toast. It's something rather simple, with the ceremony in Castle Town coming.
Hyrule's a peaceful kingdom, honestly. Monsters are a thing, but they've been kept under controł. Blood moons are far apart, and the wind is nice. Ever since the dismantling of that cult forty years ago, peace has been a thing.
You jump on your trusty horse Epona after leaving your house, and ride across Hyrule Field for Castle Town. When you reach the town, you allow the guards to stable Epona while you enter.
Inside is a celebration, with Hylians, Gorons, Zoras, Rito, and Gerudo all interacting with each other. "LINK!" you hear. Turning, you see Solot, the master blacksmith approaching you. Your boss. "Link, thank Hylia I found ya," he says. "I got an errand fer ya."
"What is it?" you respond, looking at the castle.
"Give this here sword to Captain Impa," Solot explains. You sigh, but take it and nod. Of course it's huge. Most swords made for Captain Impa are. You drag the sword behind you, until you see the captain.
Captain Impa is a Sheikah woman with short gray hair in a ponytail. She has on blue and gray chainmail, while her expression is stoic. You've heard rumors about how Impa's managed to defeat a Goron in a wrestling match, and flinch at the thought.
"Captain," you tell her, kneeling down. "I present to you this claymore."
Impa looks it over before picking it up with one hand. "Impressive," she says. "The combined work of Solot and Biggoron is second to none. Thank you, Link." You nod your head, as the celebration continues. "Is there anything you wish to ask me?"
Black specks form into something.
