It's that time of year again, as gaming's biggest series of press conferences and related convention are just around the corner. What games are you most excited about seeing - could anything equal the so called "Year of Dreams" from 2015 for you?

From this Neogaf thread

Right now, I'm interested in seeing if Sony does anything to equal the triple-whammy from last year. Also looking for more info on the usual suspects (CoD, Battlefield, Watchdogs 2, Destiny, FFXIV, anything with Assassin's Creed-no game this year, but you know Ubisoft's going to mention it...)

dishonored 2 news

and dark souls 3 dlc news

my body is ready

*vibrates*

So what's cool on the schedule other than Nier 2? As in actually scheduled, not just guessed at.

And this is from someone who doesn't give a damn about Bethesda.

Can someone explain to me what Kadokawa is and why I've never heard of it?

Kadokawa Shoten is a Japanese publisher. It publishes a bunch of manga magazines and novels, and is behind Newtype, the leading anime mag. It's also into multimedia, and has a number of brand companies that dabble in anime and game production.

Ooooooh can't wait for Bloodstained news they've apparently got a demo of the first level ready for E3 :D

Thank you, that helps. Have they presented at E3's before?

Are their games going to be based on their Light Novels? Kadokawa is the biggest publisher of those. Albeit, making their own announcements rather than partnering with Bandai Namco to make a game is really unusual.

The group is seriously huge, it even has its own subsidiary for translating books and selling them overseas. (Note that the language their subsidiary translates into is Mandarin Chinese, meaning the Chinese translations are about the only "official" ones that can be expected to be good. Other companies can create licenced translations, but the quality of those varies.)

EDIT: Could the E3 announcement by Kadokawa be about Kancolle Kai's international version?

Well, keep in mind that Kadokawa Games is a developer. It worked on Natural Doctrine, for example.

While they're a big LN publisher a lot of their games related stuff has nothing to do with that. They published Killer is Dead and such. It's a company that was always been looking for new avenues to expand, so it may simply be that they want to start getting into the west themselves.

Welp. Someone linked this to me a few hours ago, and this franchise somehow continues to absolutely ruin me, despite it having been over a decade since I got into it.

Alright, crazy predictions time.

What if FROM, instead of dark souls DLC (which, don't get me wrong, I would love just as much) instead announced a new Armored Core?

Also, looking forward to more battlefield I and whatever Kojimas working on...

Also also, heard a rumor that The Evil Within 2 might be there...
