We Own Nothing
The group of ninja looked over the pile of boulders. The Iwa fortress had been established a week ago. Their job was to bring it down.
The squad, led by Naruto Uzumaki and consisting of Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, Shikamaru Nara, Rock Lee, and Neji Hyuga, huddled around to form a plan.
"Alright guys, the Iwa Ninja Corps have given us a lot of trouble in the past, so we need to formulate a good plan. Sakura should kick down the door to start things off. Sasuke will need to send a few fireballs to keep them scattered. Once this is done, Neji, Lee, Shikamaru, and I will run in close and disable them."
Most of the squad members nodded in approval of the plan. They had all served under Naruto for several years. Even though he wasn't much of a planner, he was innovative and could adapt.
However, there was one squad member who did not hear this plan at all. His name, ladies and gentlemen, was Rock Lee, the "Handsome Devil of the Hidden Leaf Village," former member of Team Guy, and taijutsu specialist. The reason that Lee did not hear the plan was because his mind was otherwise occupied.
'YOSH! Completing this mission will show Guy-sensei how far I've come! If I cannot complete this mission, I will run around Konoha 500 times on my tongue! If I cannot do that, I shall climb the Hokage Tower with my thumbs! And if I cannot do that...'
"I think this is a pretty good plan. Shikamaru, can you give me a quick number crunch?" Naruto asked his lazy teammate.
"Yeah, yeah yeah, give me a second. I'm coming up with 56.77, repeating of course, percentage of success. How troublesome."
"That's better that I thought. Alright, is everyone ready?"
This was the time that Rock Lee emerged from his daydreaming. Having completely missed the planning session, he assumed that there was no plan.
"YOSH! LET OUR FLAMES OF YOUTH BURN IN THIS HOUR OF DARKNESS!"
His teammates were so caught off guard by his proclamation that they were unable to catch him as he leaped over the boulders and delivered a powerful kick to the doors. Once they were open, Lee ran in screaming "DYNAMIC ENTRY!"
A few seconds passed. Then:
"Holy crap, he just ran in!" yelled Sakura.
After that, the mission collapsed into powerful techniques, overwhelming odds, and shouts of "STICK TO THE PLAN!," "DAMNIT, LEE!," and "OH FUCK!"
Later, as they were hauled to the cells, Neji was heard sarcastically saying "Great job!" to everyone.
Sasuke replied with his usual "Hn," Sakura fawned over him, Shikamaru fell asleep, Naruto put his head in his hands, and Lee pulled a bag out of nowhere and said "At least I have chicken."
MISSION REPORT
Mission: Eliminate newly established Iwa base on the border of the Land of Fire
Team assigned: Squad 14 under Naruto Uzumaki
Mission rank: S
Mission result: Failure. Due to an act of carelessness, Squad 14 failed its mission and was captured by Iwa jonins. It was later freed, following a lengthy battle involving big-ass lasers, crossbows, goats, a trumpet (for some reason) and screams about power levels being over 9000, by Squads 9 and 12.
