These are all some really nice benefits, the Attribute gains are nice but the abilities gained are really fascinating. Hardened makes the Lind even more of a tank, Eyes of a Hunter is as stated probably because of Lind being a hunter and the whole Red Hunter thing, the Grounded Form is also going to be a great learning multiplier for techniques.Attributes Gained – Strength +3, Agility +3 Will +1
Health Pool 34/34
Qi Pool 18/18
Abilities Gained – Hardened – Nature is unforgiving, to stand firm in the face of it is your greatest strength. You have gained a resistance to damage and piercing attacks. Enemies automatically suffer -2 Successes when attacking you.
Eyes of the Hunter – Bear a wary eye and track your quarry well, your vision is clear, may your skills lead you to success. Advantage on tracking rolls.
A Grounded Form – You chose not to let your spirt soar, grounding yourself in the world of the physical. 1.3 Successes to the pursuit of Physical Techniques.
A boy with violet eyes fingers a runed jade amulet whose gem glows in his hands. A short, chubby male disciple twirls, of all things, a calligraphy brush in one hand as he looks around.
Mehdi is our sparring partner we had recently, one we helped complete their task just before hunting with Liu and offering the talon for the arrows for the Red Huntsmen. These two sound interesting. Can't remember who Mehdi is but I'd like to get a crafter (?) on the team.

I mean, forge/threads of destiny leans very heavily into the more spiritual side, though I guess if you don't like stealth it's not up to your standards. But cultivation stories are pretty inextricably tied to martial arts in the genre, so asking for a western style evocationist is kind of an odd ask.I have to ask though, why do these quests always choose the physical build? Whats wrong with taking the magic build for once? I just wanted one cultivation quest where we can fling some fireballs man, not cast fist or cast stealth.
I expect she's put some work in too. If nothing else cultivating has probably buffed her stats. It'd be fun either way though so I'm all for a rematch. Either we manage to surprise her and redeem ourselves, or we get to see her hilariously stomp us despite all our improvement and get to see how we stand against one of the best in our class. But I still want us to challenge Vijaya at some point to get back at her for the asswhopping we got in the beginning and she seems like the right person to be our rival.
