Why might it not work? I don't know, I'm mainly just unsure how the model of power drawn from multiple base forms interacts with this situation and with the senzu beans. It's not any specific thing that makes me sure it'd fail, just that it's complicated enough that I don't feel sure it'd work.

Why might it never have been tried before? Because there's never been a Golden Oozaru who used Multiform before. There may have been some Multiform users who experimented with Multiforming as an oozaru and a saiyan at the same time, granted, but I doubt any of them then got their giant ape forms killed and popped a senzu bean to restore the lost energy.

There is also the people Yammar and Apra convinced to support us. Like house Peat or Balor. They could conceivable have one or two in reserve so we could launder them that way.
Using a royal as the bean launderer might be more effective here. We may want a LOT of senzu beans for this...

Yeah, but too many from the Elders might be suspiscious too. One or two from each allied house would build the amount better and we can always do both. Plus, such a gesture of good will would help build their political power and might inspire those who are not part of the conspiracy and saved some for real.

Or here's an idea: we get a Senzu-clanner who knows how to Multiform to have a body show up right before the battle starts with a bag-full and a message somewhere along the lines of "even though we hate what your leaders are doing and can't come to help you on pain of (insert whatever Berra would do to them if they came back), this is our world too... So here's our contribution to the defense fund" and then self-destruct the body. Much easier than trying to organize yet another conspiracy, methinks.

Too much. All we need is plausible deniability. Asking someone to self destruct a Multiform is alot to ask.

Maybe, but I was being mostly facetious there, more parodying the fact that we have a ridiculous habit of immediately trying to conspira-tize almost every little thing and overcomplicate everything else than suggesting I actually wanted someone to blow themselves up for us.

Well what we say in the thread matters so I am now forced to arguing with everything I disagree with or suffer Kakara actually asking someone to do that.

Even if it is a long fight I don't think we will go through more than 30.
Senzu beans are pretty rare, especially in a society where the only group that's been cultivating them has been cut off from the outside world and not selling any for several years. By this point I strongly suspect they're being carefully hoarded, and while the royals have (with good reason) privileged access to them, a bag of thirty senzu beans would represent a very significant storehouse of wealth.

It's not going to change. You're also (willfully, I can only presume, since I've explained otherwise more than once) grossly misrepresenting how it works. Let it lay.
I do think, realistically, that we're going to see a rise in contentiousness because people are inherently averse to the risk that what they see as a bad idea can slip right past their disagreement and into Kakara's characterization. It's just a reality; if you make it explicit that uncontested ideas in the thread discussion can cross the "thread-brain barrier" into the quest protagonist, you'll see a lot more ideas being contested.

But yeah, I think you've been at least reasonably clearish that this doesn't mean we need to bicker over every single thing suggested by every single person. No, it's the ideas suggested by several people, or persistently by one or two "big names," that we need to bicker with.

The cognitive burden in individually vetting every item in a long list of line-items appeals to people who are like me, and does not appeal to people highly unlike me, as a rule. Looking at the avatar of @Parthu , I guess we just learned that I am unlike Goku Black? Well, I already know where my evil opposite lives, so that suits me just fine.

Well, the vote has gone dead, so I hope the following is acceptable. ;)

...oh my. Some of these are going to be quite interesting to write.

...why are we admitting difficulty finding the right style a few weeks before having to reassure people we can handle dragonbowl? Or at any point imply we are not that good a fighter in a warrior society?

...why are we admitting difficulty finding the right style a few weeks before having to reassure people we can handle dragonbowl?
Obvious way to play it:

It's traditional for the Gokun royal family to pursue Goku Style first and foremost. Following in Dad's footsteps would have been very natural. At the same time, Tien Style, with its balance, flexibility, not to mention its Kikohos that hit like a truck, appealed to us. It wasn't an easy choice.

Also, this would have been an interesting point to hear a day or two ago...

To get a jump in Papata in case she asks, I'd think. I have to assume that the topic of what style we are using is going to come up somewhere in the interview, and a natural follow up to that would be to have her ask us how it is going. What sounds better to a saiyan: "well I had trouble for a while finding the right style, but lately my training with mom in Tien-style seems to be producing some decent results" or "well I've been putting it off and only recently started learning the Tien-style"? One "admits fault" in a totally-understandable-to-a-saiyan way, while partially deflecting the silent question of "so, how good are you anyway?" And the other just makes us seem to be a bit lazy, at least in the mindset of the combat-loving saiyan race, of whom we are supposed to be one of the grand protectors.

I was thinking that Kakara would be smart enough not to go "I'm barely trained", and more talk about it like its something of the past(true), giving the impression it occurred further back?

Though honestly, we probably shouldn't be the one picking how Kakara responds. She's better then us, Berra is better then us, it really shouldn't be in our hands.

I'd like to point out that Poptart wrote "What are you ready to talk about? Voting is by line; any topics you write in will be accepted as something for which Kakara has prepared (not necessarily something that she's going to bring up; remember that the interviewer has the initiative)"

In other words, we're describing a lot of things that Kakara will have a prepared stance for, one which I really hope Poptart is going to describe in the best available manner befitting our Communications skill (and to some extent rolls, more on that later). We vote on the stance, Kakara handles the presentation. If it doesn't come up, then it doesn't.

@PoptartProdigy , the above was my understanding, at least. If I'm wrong, would you mind quoting to me the bit where you explained how it wouldn't be that way?

...

[Footnote: On the subject of rolls, basically, I figure that someone who rolls a 2 on Communications but has Excellent rank in that skill will be making very different kinds of gaffes from, say, someone who fails the check because they have Lethal skill in the area. Poor rolls shouldn't be character-breaking moments, though they can certainly be character-defining moments...]

Your understanding is correct, yes.

And yes, very different gaffes. Somebody with Lethal who botches, for instance, fails because they can't even find the words and break down out of sheer frustration (and often humiliation). Kakara would just find the wrong words to convince her audience.
