Well, wake up is the opportunity to avoid becoming an unwitting accomplice in a patricide that may demolish the masquerade/planet.

Dreaming might be contact with an ancestor or god?

I don't think Jaffur figthing his dad will do any major damge when only a 9 million difference had us moving too fast for him to notice and his dad should be our Dad's equal, which give his base from's cap of at least 350 million would be over twice Jaffur's in super sayain 1 so the fight would be over in less then a second.

I do agree with you that dreaming

Also tell me if I can/how to make this more clear? I want to get better a expressing my thoughts to others.

That was a bit of hyperbole, though he might intend to get beaten, use the secret senzu, and come back stronger than ever.

Make what more clear?

If you're referring to your post, I think you're fine in this case. Strong points in particular to focus on in the future:

I don't think Jaffur figthing his dad will do any major damge when only a 9 million difference had us moving too fast for him to notice and his dad should be our Dad's equal, which give his base from's cap of at least 350 million would be over twice Jaffur's in super sayain 1 so the fight would be over in less then a second.

In this statement, you clearly lay out your entire thought process is both simple and comprehensive terms, thereby encapsulating the whole of your meaning into language that is easy to understand. In addition, you don't skip over any steps in your logic. You first establish your premises (At our power difference from Jaffur we totally outclassed him; Jaffur's father outclasses him by a vastly superior margin) and then draw the connection between the two that leads to your conclusion (as a lesser advantage proved decisive, a greater one would prove so much more decisive that Jaffur winning would be implausible). Solidly argued and well-reasoned. In general, this post is an example of what to do right in terms of clear communication, with no serious problems that I can see.

I mean, I could nitpick spelling, but you had no typos that damaged the comprehensibility of this piece, so they aren't a factor. It might be in other posts, however, so that might be a valuable avenue of focus for you if it tends to be a persistent issue.

(Can you tell I'm an English major? :p)

Clear, though it wont work that way.
The highest boost apparently we could get is wayyy less than 100million, and our father is over 1Billion in strength full power.

Plus, the Super Saiyan boost needs to have specialty training to get up to its full +750 million; no zenkais applicable there, those just boost base power level.

Heh. Welcome to the quest!

Welp. Can't see how things could've gone much worse for us, we failed to convince him, failed to help him, we're most likely going to be relegated to the side for being a weakling compared to Jaffur now that he's transformed, and we lost our senzu bean.

Let's see what happens.
What are you talking about, we achieved literally all the goals we had when we went into this fight.

We wanted to help Jaffur. We gave him two amazing traits, turned him into a super saiyan, are directly responsible for healing him, and have come at least fairly close to becoming his friend.

This fight could not have gone any better. We had no chance of turning Super Saiyan simply cause how injured he is made the fight not difficult enough for us, so yeah, I can't see anyway this could have gone better for us.

We did perfectly. A+.

Well, he already had "You Have To Create That Need," you just learned about it.

But yeah, "Never Tell Me the Odds" was a direct result of his stupid levels of success on the constant exhaustion checks he was facing, culminating in the three crucial and increasingly-punishing ones I showed you in the update (DC's 70, 80, and 90). This is an end-game trait with incredible bonuses, I figured it should have incredible requirements.

Wow, so, uhh, I just found this, read through the turns, and...
'Huh' is about the best I can say.
I'm a touch saddened the votes didn't go in favour of the Destructo Disc, but what can you do, I am curious, however, to how powerful this planet's creatures are on average, and I am confused by our Willpower level, did we roll really low for that?

'Huh' being good or bad? Also, welcome!

If you imagine an ecosystem about as threatening as RL Earth's, that's a good benchmark.

As for Willpower, you actually rolled high, but are eight years old. Your psyche isn't fully-developed yet, and has some way to go. +15 is actually phenomenal for your age, even if ten of that is from "Driven," and it's above average even for adults. Average human adults hit +5 to +10. Jaffur is certainly a standout due to the various buffs he accumulates under the right circumstances that make him all-but-unbreakable against serious threats.

Both you and Jaffur will see your Willpower strengthen as you mature, and the more you have now, the more your Willpower will increase as you age.

Look, 'huh' is huh, alright? It's not often that the side character gets the absurd luck instead of us.
Also, it's easy to forget the characters are really young* considering we have 'level-headed mckindness' on one side and 'bullshit shonen determinator what the hell' on the other.
*Actually, sayians mature faster than humans, don't they? They might hit puberty around 10 years old or so.

Actually Saiyans age in distinct stages but they roughly follow the development time of Humans and Puberty is delayed. Dragonball Goku is 12 for instance
Born with hair, which doesn't grow (except if suitably diluted genetically in this quest)
Unsure of the age transition to Child from Baby. Kakarot is a newborn when discovered by Grandpa Gohan and becomes a Child in the intervening 12 years
Gohan is also in his child stage at 5 and stays roughly the same size and shape until the time-skip into him going to school. Maybe gaining a few inches in the time between Namek and Cell sagas but not much (compare to Krillin, Gohan is a little shorter than Krillin in all the images I could find in a quick google search)

The transition from Child at 12 to Near-Adult or Adult at 16 happens to Goku and Gohan as well, though at it was a 4year timeskip through puberty...

That seems to be the end of their development. They seem to start and stop a lot more than equivalents in Humans.
Going from Baby to "Looks 10" in 5 years roughly, then not changing for years, then hitting puberty like a wrecking ball between 12 and 16.
After that it's mostly stasis, as Saiyans don't really develop signs of aging until the end of their (human-length) lifespan when they rapidly lose their perfect physique and become ancient before passing away.

It's a cacoonless Butterfly species of Mammal and it's Weird as hell.

Welcome @Derek58!

Look, 'huh' is huh, alright?

Hey, I'm just teasing you. No worries. :)

Jaffur had a point when he mentioned that nothing is normal for Scions. They get loaded down with a lot of expectations very early on. They tend to grow up fast, mentally.

That said, I think lordchaos99 has the right of it on their life cycle.

...hm. Okay, apparently Vote Tally has auto-correct, because I know some of the "Wake Up..." voters didn't have that ellipsis there. Pretty convincing lead thus far. I'll see if we get significant change over the next couple of hours and make another call.
