Everyone knows the tale of Son Goku, the Legendary Saiyan who was raised on Earth. Everyone know of the endless changes that could have been made.
However, we're not going to make the classic changes such as: What if Vegeta was in Goku's place?
No. We're not going to do that, not today.
I'm going to take you through a different timeline in Dragon Ball, the original tale of Son Goku and friends, with a twist.
You see, The Ox King was meant to have a daughter who'd blossom into a beautiful young woman whom Goku would propose to after their match in the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament. That's right, Chi Chi.
In this timeline, things are vastly different. Goku, otherwise known as Kakarot, was not the only Saiyan sent to Earth as a child. As a matter of fact, another child was sent to Earth. Though, unlike Goku, this child did not land near the late Gohan. Instead, she landed near the residence of the Ox King.
Now, in this timeline, the Ox King still fathered Chi Chi. . . However, she was stillborn. So, when an unconscious, very small child drifted his way, he saw it as a blessing. After looking for her parents of course. He never found them. And to his surprise, the young girl had a tail! Of all things! However, the Ox King decided to care and love for the young girl regardless. He took care of her, and when she wanted to learn to fight, her taught her everything he knew.
And now, without further adieu, let us begin, back where it all started.
Chapter 1: Meiko! Daughter of the Ox King!
My feet landed softly as I glanced up towards the tree I had just leapt out of, smiling to myself and wagging my tail behind me. That was. . . Twenty feet at least? I then ran forward, and leapt high, allowing my tail to grasp onto a branch. I spun around the branch, and then released it. I smiled with glee as I flew through the air, and then started to front flip and landed easily on my feet.
I let out a breath, glancing up before feeling the Earth tremble beneath my feet. I glanced around, and then turned around. The Earth trembled once again as the creature stepped towards me. I narrowed my eyes, glancing at the tall dinosaur as it eyeballed what it thought would soon be it's prey. It took another step, and I started to run towards it. I knew I wouldn't be able to bring it down very easily, but I could at least make it know better than to attack me.
It also charged forward. It lunged at me, and I ducked, and shot myself up through the air. I slammed headfirst into the dinosaurs chest and it let out a pained roar as I landed back on my feet. I then took aim at it's leg, running quickly toward and leaping. I drove my foot hard into what could only be it's ankle bone. Once again, the dinosaur let out a pained roar. I dashed back out from underneath the dinosaur. It glanced at me again, before it roared and turned around. It was going to run from me!
I started forward again, and leapt through the air. I placed my foot forward, and drove it into the base of the dinosaur's neck. The dinosaur then collapsed to the ground with a loud thud as I landed next to it, smiling. Papa'd be happy with this one, what a large meal this would be! Yummy! . . . Just. . . How would I move this monstrous beast? I glanced around, and made my way towards a tree that had a large amount of vines when a man jumped out at me.
"Nice job kid!" He exclaimed, and instinctively, I threw a punch which he managed to dodge before bringing down a chop. I caught it, and pulled him over my shoulder, slamming him onto his back.
"What's the big idea, huh? Do you always go around jumping out at young girls from bushes?" I questioned him, tilting my head at him as he lay there on the ground.
He had long black hair, black eyes and a triangular jawline. His eyes were closed in pain for a moment, then he opened.
"No...And not at ones who can throw me over their shoulder with ease," He answered, standing up. He wore a green garb with a symbol in the mid, orange one the edges and orange pants.
Some creature flew up to him and asked him if he was alright. Puar was it's name.
"Just, who are you anyways? Not very many people come around here because of the fire on my dad's mountain, and those that do get beat up."
"I'm Yamcha, and this is Puar. What's your name little girl?" He questioned.
"I'm Meiko, daughter of the Ox King!" I replied, to which he immediately took to with fear. I giggled, and continued, "Don't worry. My dad's not a bad guy once you get to know him. He's just a big teddy bear under that shell of his."
I wagged my tail back and forth as I said that, and his eyes caught onto that.
"You have a tail too, like that Goku kid. . ."
I raised my eyebrow, in consideration of that. Papa told me I was the only one he ever knew of who had a tail other than a kid his friend had found one day. Maybe he was the same person? Couldn't be. I glanced back to the dinosaur, and then to the vines and made my way to them.
"Hungry? My dad's a good cook and there'll be
plenty to go around with that big guy," I asked him as I grabbed onto a vine and climbed up.
I turned back, and the guy was gone. Strange. Hm. Oh well, back to the food.
I wonder how Papa is going to cook it?
