I think the sandwich is worth it at 2, so we should bid at least that much. Remember, if we lose the bid, we get the money back, so we can just bid however much it's worth to us and if we fail, no big. I'd rather not go over 3 though because it's only so valuable and we don't seem to have serious competition for it.

Storkules isn't quite a toon, he's more toon-adjacent.
Drat! There goes my brilliant plan to sic him on Doom and get Felldrake to teach us the popcorn-making spell!

He was specifically called out as a eudaemon, not a toon. He wasn't from '17 Ducktales, he was just inspired by that character. Secondly, ducks are toon-adjacent in that they share some properties of toons but not all of them. Try not to scrutinize toons too much.
Ah, yes. Toons are under the effect of Bellisario's Maxim, not the least of which because the Toonforce would beat you up and steal your lunch money if you tried to examine it.

-but her aim is getting better!" the orb finished with a massive grin.
It knows.

Seriously though, let's just buy the Sandwich. It's probably a direct stat-boost/trait to Dennis and/or 625, not to mention a massive loyalty gain.

1. Have Dennis study the sandwich.
2. Hand 625 the perfect sandwich after it's been studied.
3. ???
4. Profit.

Yes yes haha funny but I'm like 76% serious.

If the married couple can't afford their orb I'm not opposed to buying it for them. Assuming of course they're any good, don't know their source material just the omake.

They are living in a bad place and we're broke when they got to Earth if I remember correctly.

Not only can Beelzebub fly, as one might expect, it can also perform light housework, help with potion brewing, or even…" she squints at the paper. "Teach grouchy old tightwads the true meaning of halloween."

Help on Potions could be useful. Not too sure about the true meaning of halloween but it might know something about the black candle witches by virtue of it's creator being a witch?

How would Marco have stolen the Wand from Toffee? If I remember correctly, Toffee's win condition means that he had to have the Wand at one point or another.

Even if Marco managed to pickpocket the Wand for a few seconds, he should have been killed right after.
Again, you guys are talking like there is only one royal magic wand. We don't know enough of what happened at the S3 Premiere in this timeline to know for certain that there is only one wand, rather than the two split wands. Star never purified the RoM, so it is possible she never blew up Ludo's half of the wand. That could mean that both her half of the wand and Ludo/Toffee's half are still intact.
Jake Long is a normal teenager who somehow never became a dragon because it skipped his generation for some reason.

edit: Just my guess
I doubt that is the case, but the dragon powers can legitimately skip generations. That's exactly what happened with his mother, Susan Long.
Even better, we should have dennis study the sandwich to improve his craft!
That does remind me that it's been mentioned multiple times for Dennis that he has been feeling like he is missing a sandwich in his studies. This could legitimately be it. Either that or it's just a reference for mediocre rolls.

Beelzebub the Flying Broom (Max bid: 5)
  • Have two sticks vie for Janna's attention
  • Flying duo
Unfunny Crystal Ball (voiced by special guest star Jay Leno) (Max: 2)
  • Sell to Glooms for low DC occult research
Sandwich (Max: 4)
  • 625 and Dennis adventure

Round One

Beelzebub the Flying Broom

Unfunny Crystal Ball (voiced by special guest star Jay Leno)

Multiverse's Greatest Sandwich
As someone who watched a few episodes of 7D, I can safely assure everyone that Hildy and Grim are terrible. I don't even know how they managed to win, even if this is DVV. Then again, they quickly got booted off the throne by Toffee and Phobos, so all's well that ends well.

Broom is useless, crystal ball is unreliable and will almost certainly be getting a huge vote from Grim. The sandwich seems okay though. I'd say...send 2 or 3 points towards it. 625 would be happy.

Yeah, did a quick double-check. That "English guy" is pretty certainly Horvath.

Mind you the Sandwich could help to motivate 625.

The same 625 who happens to have 45 Learning. I doubt that we will be able add the entirety of that to his statline, but he still has a fair amount to help us with.

Do we have any high DC learning rolls a supercomputer gremlin who's highly motivated could take a crack at, that would be worth it?

Edit: my option would be the Other Dimension-Inator, though Odd Transmissions could also be good.

Man I bet we could get so much public approval if we could replicate the sandwich and start up Doofenshmirtz evil sandwich shop. And with Ruben and Denis helping run it it could also be a cash cow

Quick thing about spending.

Round 1 will contain three items, Round 2 six items, and Round 3 four.
Round One items have an opening bid of 2 points, Round Two items have an opening bid of 4 points, and Round Three items have an opening bid of 7 points.
If we want to try and bid in round 3, we're going to need to save at least 7 points. We're probably going to need more than that to make a competitive bid. This is if we only want one item.

If we are going for the sandwich, at most I'd like to spend 3, since going by intrigue check there's probably going to be someone going for min bid for the novelty. Any more than that and we risk spending more than we need to.

Yes, and this explains Marco (who isn't Star) managing to steal the Wand from Toffee and living to tell the tale? in all likelihood, if the Wand is indeed split in two, Star has the other half.

Not to mention it would be a stupid narrative decision. It makes more sense for the Wand to come with Star, who will be harder to find than Marco.
