On a different tangent, did the Wyndham space station explosion happen in this timeline? Zenon could influence whether we will get any public pushback with getting extraplanetary habitation off the ground.

(Pun intended.)

Also, we'll have to look into to how acquiring Bueno Nacho went, but if we want more stake in DrakkTech territory, McFist is for sale. They also seem to be as diversified as ACME.

What happened to Herby by the way?
I used Herbie in my own campaign. It's a very long, but very rewarding story of tragedy, triumph, and redemption.

However, just in case MiH needs to use something from it I'll keep that story to myself. For now. Will check in with him later to see if its okay to spill the beans on his story arc.

EDIT: MiH is using my Herbie! Woo! Now I can't tell you jack!

Let's put Speed Racer *inside* Herbie

but the MCP would want to remain a secret and is secret by default
Oh but this is from the POV of an office drone who thinks MPU, or rather the company would reveal something as a smokescreen, I.E. the best disguise is in plain sight. MPU I assume is working from the shadows infiltration the Home CPU market with patches, and Prods to Dillanger, without truly giving himself away.

After all, as far as the public is concerned MPU or at least the public persona in my mind, is a simple office tool Ala the Word Paperclip or whatever is popular in the 1980s a prototype to WOW audiences at a tech demo and sell Computers because who in the 80s wouldn't want a super cool office advisor.

Because that is all part of the Plan, expand MPU, expand the network and grow. It was Dillanger's idea to MPU and the truth is well somewhere between MPU being a Rumor and a conspiracy theory.
Revealing himself as a fully-realized AI would be counterproductive to his goal of covertly ruling everything from the Grid.
I think I implied via dialogue that MPU is still hidden, and the display's of tech wizardry was done anonymously in order to wow those sweet defence contracters out of their money.
We do know he was friends with Roy Kleinberg and kept his secret when he discovered Roy was ZackAttack. Maybe they're partners?
Oh Roy is coming, and he's going to be coming after a very cool scene in the next time.
EDIT: The famine reports are national because of the bread basket going away. Not centered on Doofania.
Well that's part of the Argument Dillanger was trying to make, and the problem is Alan was leaving anyway.

Why do you keep calling him MPU? It's Master Control Program (or MCP). Though again, I really don't see that happening when the MCP can just keep himself hidden.

Oh...I gave it the wrong acronym. Its been a while and I binged watched Cowboy Bebop witch had a AI character called MPU. I'm going to fix that now.

Edit: Fixed the omake at least. I got characters mixed up.

Crazy idea! Did OWCA ever make contact with the Rescue Rangers? Because Gadget Hackwrench would make a crazy good Learning hero and rest of the team is not too shabby either.

I mean I guess it depends on when this is set. If its in the 2000's the Rescue Rangers might all be retired by now. They were active in the late 80's/early 90's. . .

Doof probably wouldn't know either way
He wouldn't, but you can always use some actions to look into the cape scene.

Very nice! It's always a treat to see things happening inside the Grid since it's got it's own unique mechanics and quirks from the outside world. Take 500 XP and a canonization! This means that you could potentially come across Tron at some point!

Given that this is a place where the villains all won... Pretty sure Hiro and BH6 are dead. Yokai wasn't shy in his attempts to kill them during the movie.
The villains won, yes, but that's the only thing that's assumed. Victory doesn't necessarily ensure that the heroes are dead.

What will we do after the quest when Doof needs to go back to Danville?
You'll automatically return home once your quest is over, no need to take any actions.

That may be true. But if we were to reveal that Hawaii is still around...
Probably a bad idea. You only recently got the government to like you slightly more, blowing the lid off of the masquerade won't earn you any favors.

@Made in Heaven

If we make flying cars, can we choose not to sell them commercially and instead use or expand on the tech for military purposes?

Like start with flying cars, then to massive flying airships that dot the skies with DOOF. We won't have to worry about being landlocked if we have flying ships that can "dock" anywhere in the ocean.
Yes, you can. You guys guessed correctly that Flubber would decrease the DC of the flying cars- the vulcanized Flubber is what allows them to take flight. It would be entirely possible to adapt this tech through other options such as the airships, through more actions of course.

It's great to see characters talking about the rest of the companies in the world as if they're not in total isolation. It makes the quest's setting feel more like a living place. You've earned your 500 XP, but unfortunately I won't be able to canonize it due to some details like the MCP being public knowledge. Don't worry too much about that though, with the other Tron interludes being canonized I'd say you stand a pretty good chance of coming across a certain someone...
