Okay, going through the early pages of the thread, I've seen something. This already was mentioned at the Discord, but seems relevant enought to repeat here.

[ ] Attack Sycorax

SFPD reports an attack was made at Sycorax headquarters last night, while onlookers have been quick to blame 'the Yokai', police are pinning the attack on the Banzai Brothers, ...a group of criminal jetpack pilots with an artistic flair to their explosive firework smash-and-grab thefts. Sycorax has admitted a few gestation pods were stolen and is offering a reward for their location or return.

From waaaay back in 2015 (or 2020 in RL)

It has been mentioned that this may be the Mad Jacks, a heroball that was later sponsored by Glomgold, but +42 seems to line up better with the known Martial stat of the Yokai (who has +43 in a "Capture Monsters" action as of a more recent turn).

My takeaway is that Yokai broke into Sycorax, stole the pod with the true Liv Amara and is using this to keep in line Di Amara, the clone. This explains why Sycorax is actually obeying Yokai's orders, in spite of the negative loyalty we have seen in rolls.

If I am right, that probably means that the San Fransokyo situation isn't going to explode just from the Wendy/Funtelligence angle, but that Sycorax is likely to go critical at the same time (if only because Yokai will presumably be distracted at the time).

I just want to bring this up again because I find it absolutely hillarious, but also Mirage thinks that our "honorary predator" status isn't going to harm us in negotiations with Bellwether.

I´d still argue to invest heavily into in-vitro meat research to take the wind outta nutjobs like BW or hardcore veg(etari)ans.

As for our "normal" meat, that stuff can still exist in a somewhat downscaled version of "top-grade & all-natural meat for the conniseur"

In vitro Meat Is something I always like to hear about.
Also, just imagining Malf learning how to grow meat golems right away makes me chuckle.
 
In-vitro meat would also be a good idea for making the dinosaur park more viable and profitable.

A tiger apparently eats roughly a cow's worth of meat each week on average.

A large carnivorous dinosaur would probably require a lot more meat.

Meat which atm still needs to be born, reared and continously fed before you can finally butcher the animal in question *once*.

"Normal" animal butchering is just hideously wasteful in terms of space and feeding material, copared to which in-vitro meato would be far more efficient while still maintaining a high enough quality to be fit for human consumption.

Let´s be honest:

Not eating meat is the big ecological disaster, it´s producing that meat the old-fashioned way that´s getting way outta hand.
 
In-Vitro meat has some issues I think need being brought up. The first is that I doubt it would effect Bellwether at all (And pissing off Vegens is a waste of time and money). Her propaganda is based around the instincts and nature of Predators, not their diets (Zootopia never really had a cannibalism issue tmk, and I don't think they'd care to much of people eating actual wild animals).

Also replacing our multitude of meat products for lab grown meat is going to eat into our own markets. We sell Dinosaur Steaks, Capybara Bratwurst, and Cricket Nutritional Food packs. It would be a fine supplement, or to use as Dinosaur feed, but to replace our meat products with stuff grown in a lab is a waste of resources and time.

Like I'm fine with doing it, we are in the Food Industry, but not replacing our existing meat products with it, at least for the time being since its gonna be a niche product for a couple more years.

You do realize we can simply sell "lab-versions" of these products no problem once we cracked the code, so to speak?

I'd agree to some extent, but if we just use a learning action on it, it should be a relatively good way to cut some costs and also get into some niche markets. We shouldn't consider it with respect to Bellwether though.
 
Researching the signals has a less explicit timer but we are competing with everyone else and shego just moved ahead of us.

I know we've wanted to do this since it showed up and with the council boost it might be feasible now.

Not really necessary. I want it, and it probably would synergize with Glomgold, but it's not necessary.
