Janna's trait has changed to "I Got a Little Bored, so I Tried Something New"
Janna is not exactly easily distracted, but she rarely chooses to bash her head against something that does not hold her interest. When Janna is assigned to a National Action, roll 1d6. On a 6, Janna does not complete the action as it proves insufficiently engaging for her. Instead, she approaches DEI's problems from a different angle. If the action would not have been a critical failure, a random Occult action in your action pool has its DC reduced by 10. If the action would have been a crit failure, a random Occult action in your action pool increases its DC by 15 instead.
Acquiring a non-sentient, permanent Focus for Janna can now remove her Non-Practicing Practitioner trait!
Janna has gained 2 Occult!
Kitsune has gained 1 to all her stats.
Lizzy refused to leave until she had been told how the bugs work. She gains an Occult score of 4!
So instead of just "wasting" an action slot on a 1:6 chance, now Janna can decide to faff around with the DC of other Occult options with an indirect, variable chance to fuck that one up - I am not complaining about that, but it´s essentially and Occult, explody/chaotic version of Ludivines "Absent-Minded" trait.
...Next order for Janna: Get a magical focus, so we can at least theoretically use her for Occult options that rely on practical experience.
Stats upgrades are always nice, especially now that Lizzie *Technically* counts as an Occult unit as well - even though she still got the second-lowest *known* Occult score of all our HUs (with Doof himself sharing her 4 and Vanessa bottoming out at a 3)
We never expected Janna, Lizzie, and Tobe to be the aces we thought they'd become but I'm glad it happened.
Well, Janna was always pretty talented - just very unenthusiastic about applying herself.
But Lizzie and especially Tobe really don´t have any excuse being that good (for crying out loud, Tobe and his ninjas are essentially our Mauve Shirt goons concept-wise - a bit of personality and ability, but ultimately utterly disposable nobodies)
It's actually the light Glyph from The Owl House.
Maybe she initially botched the OH Glyph, making it *become* a Bill Glyph, which Kitsunes super-strong wards immediately took offense to and caused the paper to combust in retaliation?
Like a translation/transcription error that causes editorial control to take offense because now the word is "naughty", you know?
