"Here are the papers for your first jump." The Benefactor told the young man, who was grinning.
Life may have sucked for a little bit too long, but this time, things were going the best way! He was going to be a Jumper!
And everyone knew what happened with the Jumpers, they would become the top percentile in the power scale, if not outright the strongest character of that said multiverse!
The young man grabbed the papers and looking at the
cover, he noticed that something may have been put in the wrong place.
"Benefactor sir, I think there's something wrong here." The young man told the one who is giving him the power to jump, he certainly didn't want to anger said being, but he didn't want to needlessly die.
"No, I believe all papers are in order, you are to jump to that place." The Benefactor continues as the young man audibly gulps.
"But sir, what about scaling? Aren't you afraid that I'm gonna be completely overpowered after leaving that setting?" The young man asks.
"No, if anything, I want to see how disconected from the rest of your human peer after developing the powers you will eventually do." The Benefactor answers the question, making the young man sigh.
'So it is true, they are either jackasses, or just want to fuck the protagonist, shame I wasn't caught on a Benefactor worthy of the QQ tag.' He thought to himself as the Benefactor raised an eyebrow 'Fuck, he probably heard my thoughts.' The young man continued as he looked over the papers.
Almost reaching 30 pages... the ones he used to do were around ten and that was long...
Rolling a dice required almost no time, as a one, Shibuya would be his inserted place.
"Complete Programmer Perk Tree, that costs six hundred points, Programmer gear tree, another two hundred and fifty points, I have around what... one hundred and fifty? Should be around that." He counts on his head.
"Can I recruit them without spending points?" The new Jumper asks his benefactor, who shrugs.
"As long as they are aware of everything it entails." It says as the new Jumper sighs in relief, at least he wouldn't have to be paying for those.
"Fighting Lucifer, as hard as it sounds, should be reasonable to any end game group..." He says not really believing his words.
"Give me the Eight day drawback, Morning Star drawback, Let's Survive perk from Drop-in Tree, Cell Phone from Thug gear tree and the phone charger from general gear." He conceeds after some tense thinking.
His plan was to be the best support character for Kazuya, and give everyone their happy ending.
It's the least he could do after seeing so many playthroughs in which the characters are sad, rejected or downright tortured and killed.
