You are Devil Forgemaster, creator of monsters out of dead bodies of humans and beasts. Take prisoners of hell and put into carckases, bound by your will and your will alone.

Blasted hunters, blasted, blasted. They destroyed everything, burned books and scrolls, grind into dust everything. Killed everyone. And now you have to run like a dog. Who could send these brigands? The Lord of this land promised our family protection, was his word so cheap? Of course it was, but to concentrate such a force of warriors, mercenaries, brigands and other vagabonds. It took time and money, also their leader, you have never seen someone like him. Monster in human flesh gutted guardians made by ancestors and upgraded by generations like it was nothing. With sword and fire, they slaughtered everyone, everyone but you.

[ ] North -> Kingdom of Poland, fragmented between princes and lately tried to be united by Silesian Princedom, with Teutonic Knights massacring Pomeranians. Under the surface it is worse. Vampire war between two groups, old voivodes trying to hold onto its power, and young, in relative terms, vampire mages invading outside of Prague and Krakow, rising in power, and the third group of vampire knights desecrating and destroying ancient sites, flowing from the Holy Roman Empire.

[ ] South -> Ancient land of the Byzantian Empire, now destroyed and divided between Latin Conquerors. There are rumors that some powerful being plotted it all to obtain treasures of the ancient world. There are also rumors about the family of the name of Belmont that hunts this being and every vampire that is associated with it, with zeal of inquisitors and power of Hun hordes.

[ ] Center -> Stay in the Kingdom of Hungary. Hunters, hunters everywhere. No one knows why, but there are words of orders and cults following or imitating some vampire killer and a knight.

[ ] East -> Holy Roman Empire. Old aristocracy full of themselves and their power. Dancing in the eternal tune of diplomacy and intrigue. Princes against bishops, bishops inquisition against vampires, mages against everyone. With dagger, venom and word. Since Emperor Frederick II took and changed his seat of power to Sicily all power plays accelerated into consolidation of power. Serve or die is the word of the court.

[ ] West -> Principality of Volhynia and Galicia. Fresh under its second ruler Daniel Romanowych that tries to consolidate his power, and cleansed it from the Hungarian influence. Under it, werewolfs dancing the black spirale, renegade mages, diabolist vampires and every kind of beast not accepted anywhere else. Everyone for themselves and each against everyone.

Ok, let's try this again. This is a strategic game based on the modified CK 2 rules as Devil Forgemaster. As one you can summon souls of the wicked and plant them into dead bodies to creat monsters under your command. We're playing in the world of Castlevania, but with some changes. The changes is my obsessive love of World of Darkness and Chronicles of Darkness which lore I will pull in vast quantities, and some Dresden Files.

Rules
Rolls: d60, rolling a 60 makes dice explode and goes for a second roll that adds to the first
Mechanics: CK2 modified
Turn: About half a year
Actions: Number of actions is one per category, but some buildings, advancements and
Hero Actions: After choosing an action you can assign to each hero, it will get a bonus to the roll equal to the adequate attribute of a hero, second hero will add half its bonus, third ⅓ and so on.
Omakes: Always welcome and gives bonuses to rolls, for the person that publish omake
Characters/Heroes ->prominent people (alive and undead) who are part of your organizations. Recruiting/creating heroes happens by taking actions, it gets harder the more you have them.

  • Power
  • Soul Capacity -> how much servants of the night can be controlled by you. Each servant takes some Soul Capacity, if it goes beyond the servants break free, from the most powerful starting, till Capacity goes back to equilibrium.
