You are Harry James Potter, aged eleven, son of James Potter and Lily Evans, both deceased due to a car accident, of which you have fortunately survived.
You live with Vernon and Petunia Dursley, your uncle and aunt respectively. You have a cousin, the son of your aunt and uncle, Dudley Dursley, who is older than you by about five weeks.
That is all other people know about you. An orphan taken in by a family who isn't responsible for raising you.
However, you know yourself more. You are more than that. Now, what do you know about yourself?
Which characteristic appeals to your nature the most?
[ ] Social Butterfly. You are an excitable, charming child. You are capable of getting people to open up quickly and you are able to make friends easily. Your goal is to befriend each person you meet or get them to like you. You find people easy to read and understand. You are empathetic and a people person.
[ ] Child Prodigy. You are smart, more intelligent than other smart children. You grasp concepts easily and understand lesson faster than others. You are capable of matching an adult's pace in learning and comprehension. This leaves you with a reputation of being a prodigy, a genius for a child your age.
[ ] Growing Athlete. You are drawn to sports and athletics the most. Your body is as fit as it can be for a growing eleven-year-old. You do know acrobatics. You are capable of defending yourself physically. Also, at one time, you learned a few tricks from a martial arts instructor.
[ ] Dreamer. You dream, you imagine, you create. You dream of achieving your goals, you imagine how your future would turn out. You create your own world and mold it to perfection. You know your goals, and you aren't afraid to reach for them.
What are the traits you have gained from your childhood? Choose two.
[ ] Perceptive. Observation is one of your strong traits. You can perceive others better than most. You excel in noticing the fine details. You are able to collect the pieces of a metaphorical puzzle quickly, and solve it even faster.
[ ] Deceiving. Your childhood has left you knowing when is the right time to lie. You know how and when to lie to get what you want. You deceive others to protect yourself. You don't consider it as anything bad. It is just a means of survival.
[ ] Silent. Actions mean more than words. You prefer to act than speak. In all honesty, you think that words have two categories: meaningless and harsh. All the empty promises and insults your uncle had sent your way have led you to believe so.
[ ] Ambitious. Throughout the eleven years of your life, your uncle has made it clear that you will amount to nothing, like your worthless parents had been. You believe otherwise. You thirst to prove yourself to the world that you are more than what they think. You do your utmost best, aiming for beyond perfection. (preselected with the trait Dreamer)
[ ] Creative. You haven't been exactly given all the necessities as a child. As such, you know how to make things count. You are capable of turning rubbish into useful utensils. You also see the beauty in mundane things. It doesn't matter what kind of resources you have, you are able to produce a fruitful result.
[ ] Wise. You are a good judge of character. You have a fair judgement of others around you. You are also capable of having a clear mind even under difficult circumstances. Although you are still a child, you are mature beyond your years.
However, a person naturally has flaws. What are yours? Choose two.
[ ] Reckless. You are a man of action. However, you happen to act before you can consider the consequences of your actions. This leads to more trouble than what you originally have.
[ ] Indecisive. You tend to overthink your decisions. You aren't able to decide quickly as you consider everything first. You tend to waver in your choices. While considering the aftermath is proper, you tend to do it more than normal.
[ ] Naive. You see the good in everyone. However, as likable as your trait to give someone the benefit of the doubt and second chances, you are easily manipulated and influenced. (incompatible with the trait Deceiving)
[ ] Overachiever. You naturally go beyond what is asked of you. While this has led you the praise of your teachers and fellow students, others are prone to be jealous of your achievements. In certain times in class, you have been isolated from the rest.
[ ] Sticking to plans. You tend to follow your plans too much. You aren't good in improvising when things don't go as you planned. You tend to get flustered whenever your plans haven't worked as you first think they have.
[ ] Untrustworthy. You tend to lie more often than not. You lack honesty, a trait that makes people trust you. While it isn't often that you are caught lying, those who have known have labeled you as untrustworthy.
During your childhood years, you have grown close to one person. Who is it?
[ ] Petunia Dursley. Your aunt may be less receptive of your arrival at her home, but she has grown used, maybe even fond, of you. She may not show that she cares in an obvious manner, but you know she does.
[ ] Vernon Dursley. Your uncle may have been... intense. He has made it clear that he doesn't like you, and always prefers Dudley over you. However, in the recent years, your efforts to be closer to him has payed off. Although your uncle still has a rough demeanor in front of you, you know he means (probably) well.
[ ] Dudley Dursley. Your cousin isn't the most perfect of all cousins. Truth to be told, you are not perfect either. Despite the misunderstandings and disputes between the two of you, both of you have grown fond of each other. You and Dudley may be considered best friends if not for your constant arguments, but he shows his concern every once in a while. At least he has stopped bullying you in school.
[ ] Marjorie Dursley. Or Aunt Marge as she insists to be called. Although you don't meet each other often, she and her dogs like you to a certain extent. She makes sure that she gives you gifts during her visits, normally a book or two.
[ ] Yourself. You have learned that there is only one person you can trust in the world (or perhaps only inside the Dursley household) and that is yourself.

— Why?
You know that there is something that sets you apart from the rest of your family. A few days before your birthday, you have known what it is. You are a wizard, capable of doing magic— that your relatives have claimed is unreal!
Carefully, you tuck the letter inside your hand-me-down clothes, thankful that it's larger than your admittedly scrawny frame. You creep into your cupboard, switching on the flashlight that you have brought from school. You read over the contents, skimming it over and over.
Perhaps it's a prank, sent by those troublesome kids or odd organizations. But deep down, you know that it is real. You see the bottom of the letter, noticing the requirements of entering the school. You don't know where to get those, or how you can get those. You're unsure whether someone will actually help you find such things.
Nevertheless, you formulate a plan in your head. What is it?
[ ] Confront. You would ask your relatives why they had hidden an important fact from you. You wouldn't beat around the bush. You know that they had known, their insistence over magic and their strange gazes at people wearing strange clothing inform you so. Perhaps it wouldn't end well, but you would say your part and say it clearly. (DC 50)
[ ] Sneak. You have enough savings to hitch a taxi. Perhaps it wouldn't be enough to buy all of the necessities, but at least you can try to find where to buy those items. You have noticed the strange men with equally as strange clothing, some of them even shaking your hand with admiring expressions. One of them could tell you a few things, right? (DC 55)
[ ] Steal. Frankly speaking, you don't have enough finances. However, your relatives do. You know that they wouldn't answer— much less give you money if you ask them. It's nothing personal. You just want answers, and if they won't give it to you, you will get it on your own. (DC 65)

Author's Note: This is my first time writing a quest. Or in simpler terms, I honestly have no idea what I am doing. I'll return in (probably) two weeks to check.
