Dark Soles (Dark Souls Crack RP)

Trusty_Chester

That One Guy
Location
Texas
Long ago everything was grey, drab, and boring. Sure there were dragons, but who cares. Also everyone was a zombie.

Then one day a fire sprung up and with it came light and dark, heat and cold, life and death, you know all that good stuff.

Within the flame 4 zombies found incredibly powerful souls.

Gwyn, Lord of Sunlight

Ravelord Nito, the first of the dead

The Witch of Izalith and her daughters.

And finally the Furtive Pygmy , the one that everyone forgot about.

Using these souls they murdered the crap out of the dragons and took control of the world.

Thus began the age of fire.

For a time it was awesome. Everything was bright, (most) people were happy, and many an awesome rave was thrown.

But now the fire fades, and soon only dark will remain. Or something like that.

Now as an undead it's your job to fix the fire, or just let it fade away.

Name: Lawrence Greymane
Class: Knight
Personality: Lawrence is polite, very collected and especially irritable when he's in a foul mood. An occasionally virtuous young man in pursuit of knowledge and simple pleasures, Lawrence was, in life, someone who took to aiding the poor, reading his beloved books, eating his fill and pleasing the people - women, in particular, though he also adored children. A cynic at heart, Lawrence's pragmatism often struggles with his compassion. As his lycanthropy does little to influence his behaviour, his human maneurisms often seem amusing in his werewolf form.

Appearance: Lawrence was a werewolf and died as such. In undeath, his default form is that of a desiccated werewolf - whereas muscle and bone pokes through slightly - bearing a purple scarf. He is exceptionally tall, at 6"5, and his fur is dark grey. Slightly hunched over, his gaze is that of empty pearl white eyes.
On the other side of the mirror, Lawrence returned to human form. A pale, gaunt thing, Lawrence stands at 6"2 with tussled brown hair and blue-grey eyes.

History: Lawrence was born to a mad, but very ambitious couple of nobles. Firmly educated in letters, numbers and otherwise, Lawrence fled his oppressive parents on his tenth birthday. Having settled in a nearby town, Lawrence cast off his old name and immediately went to work to continue his simple lifestyle. He obtained an extensive range of skills, and was even once taught by a Mage for a short period of time. He eventually became a mercenary and over all adventurer, obtaining a good amount of coin that he often shared. In a job whereas he was a caravan guard, Lawrence was bitten by a wolf and savaged by bandits. It was then that he was turned into a werewolf. Teetering on the edge of death, a mad, amorous priestess he had seduced in his younger years acquired him, healed him and then killed his weakened self through intercourse by accident. Consensually, of course. No, not the death by snu-snu part.
Starting Gift - Siegbrau: An undead favorite. Strong enough to bring an undead back to life, then re-kill them. Several times over.

Am I doing this right?

Name: Magnus Dick (Goes by Richard Greymane)
Class: Knight
Personality: Polite, Spiteful, Unshakably Calm, Possibly Queer, Passive Agressive
Appearance: Desiccated corpse of a lycanthrope that turns into... a dead teenager.
History: Richard was born to an insane, but very ambitious couple of nobles. After they took away his nerdy books, he responded with "You're not the boss of me!", got bitten by a wolf and then died by snu-snu.

Am I doing this right?

Yes.

Oh boy.

Name: Burnie Cinders
Class: Pyromancer
Personality: Self Interested, Passive Aggressive, Sarcastic, Greedy, Mad, Innovative, Mad
Appearance: A mask wearing corpse completely charred black from head to toe that turns into an average friendly looking guy when hollowing is reversed.
History: A young pyromancy prodigy that got really quickly exiled from the community after getting a bit too interested in black powder. Turns out combining black firebombs with pyromancy is not a good sign of mental health.

Fair warning, I only played DS3 so this should be fun.

Name: Richard McCree

Class: Sorcerer

Appearance: Unlike most sorcerers, Richard doesn't wear robes. Instead, he wears a cowboy hat, blue trousers made of some exotic fabric (he calls it "Denim"), riding boots, a black cotton shirt, leather gloves, and a riding duster. He even has a custom holster for his wand! He stole the outfit (minus the holster) from some random dude while traveling between dimensions, and with some basic conjuration was able to make a belt holster that fit his wand. He's weird like that. His face, however, reveals his undead nature, with spots and streaks of shriveled, rotten flesh marring his once-handsome face, and a neat slit where an arrow once stuck out of his forehead. With humanity restored, however, he is a dashing figure, with black hair, stubble, and lovely green eyes.

History: Richard McCree was a powerful wizard, but had the disposition of an adventurer or an explorer. Thus, he gravitated towards a nascent school of magic: Dimensional manipulation. Learning the tricks of the trade, he soon made numerous advances, and was the first to successfully create a portal to another universe. Unfortunately, the portal opened directly in the path of an Indian arrow at the battle of Little Bighorn. Said arrow, intended for General Custer, shot him in the face, killing him instantly. That would normally have been the end of him, except that he had unknowingly received the Curse of the Undead, and he quickly came back to life not a few seconds later. Amazed and horrified at this discovery, he soon realized that the guards would come to lock him up if he didn't keep this a secret, and hit upon a backup plan if he was ever discovered: He would flee into this mysterious alternate reality and try to live there. However, the more he studied this strange world of "cowboys" and "Indians" the more he wanted to live there permanently. One day, he threw caution to the wind and went exploring what he knows now is the good ol' U.S. of A, circa 1876. What he discovered was fascinating, and, making sure he took as little damage as possible to keep his undead nature a secret, stole a local outfit and studied the locals incognito. Publishing his research in several academic journals and releasing multiple books on the mysterious "U.S.A," he soon became a very wealthy undead. Now, he seeks to use his vast fortune for the ultimate adventure: Lighting the First Flame. And incinerating anyone who gets in his way.

@Trusty_Chester

Cowboy wizard is cracky enough, right?

Room for another on this ride?

Name: Kleptus or Klepto

Class: Thief

Personality: Kleptus -as a thief- has learned to be very quiet at times, quite literally disappearing from view, reappearing only to whisper snide and deadpan remarks. Other times, he teeters on the edge of lunacy and possession. It's believed by some that the thief is fueled only by Anger, Avarice, Jealousy, and Greed. At his best, Kleptus has a tendency to eye, snatch, and hoard whatever he sees as valuable or amazing. At his worst, Kleptus will tear through iron like soggy paper and smash his way through castle walls as if they were wet clay to have, or keep possession of something. There are 3 stages of Kleptus.

Kleptus- The snide, irritated, and sarcastic stage. Not very strong, but best for thieving.
Clothing pressed and clean, usually looks human.
Klepto- Angrier and more possessive, stronger, but less subtle. A better mix for direct fighting.
Clothing worn and well used, usually looks like a rotting corpse.
Kleptomania- The less said about this stage the better.
Appearance Unstated.

Appearance: He wears loose black and grey clothing with dozens of hidden pockets and pouches, which hides his almost skeletal figure, with patches of rotting and twisting muscle over his body. He hides his thin, skeletal nature under a long, dark blue overcoat with even more pockets, buttons, and pouches. On his arms, he uses long black gloves, and an oversized and feathered hat, shadowing all but the lights of his orange eyes. He has dozens of bags and packs of all shapes and size clipped and wrapped around him. His dark grey pants with even more fucking pockets are tucked into his knee high boots, which can hold even more loot. We told you he was a hoarder, right? With humanity restored, he is a young boy with messy black hair and angular features, yet still looks almost skeletal and corpse pale.

History: Kleptus was born on the streets, learning how to survive and thrive in the alleys, picking up tricks and tips from older, more experienced thieves and con men. He has changed clothes many times, but the above appearance is his favorite. It allowed him to hold weapons and loot, and anyone who tried to rob him became sickly bored of watching him empty the 70th pocket of gold. He himself hunts down individuals who attempt to steal from him, and has followed them to the ends of the earth to do so. He enjoys the challenge of his thievery, but enjoys the loot much more. During his travels, he's learned techniques and gained artifacts to help him better gain loot.

EDIT: Master Key: Common Thief tool. Can open paths that would otherwise remain locked.

What kind of thief would he be without this?

Christ, how do we even begin...

I've never so much as touched a Dark Souls game!

Don't worry, I haven't either!

...

Neither of us are posting first, are we?

Shiiiiiit.

W-Well, no worries! I'm sure @Genon and @drasky will be able to set the standard!

*Sigh*

Time to browse the wiki...

I've only played the very beginning of the game. I think the furthest I got was to the tower level.

EDIT: And that was Dark Souls 2, by the way.

Alright, checking out the video for Dark Souls:

I wanna start first, but first: Are we going to all start up in the same cell?
And in which person should we write? First, second or third?
