Crystalwatcher's Magical Girl Quest!

All of this gave me an idea of my own.

[X] Plan Don't Mess With Divinity
-[X] Get some distance between yourself and the barrier, then taunt White Soul into using Soul Rend against you
--[X] If that takes more than four turns, go ahead and blast her with Starshine; make sure to concentrate fire all around both of her bodies so she can not morph away
-[X] The moment she does, charge at her and call out [PEACE] in the Conceptual Language from as close as possible to stop her from reacting, then cast Starshine on her
-[X] If she gets out of that, cast again or use Core Purge, or whatever is most likely to hit her

[X] [EXP] Plan Emergency
-[X] Level Starshine to 17 (150+160=310)

She can not win unless she negates our healing... and even then it would be a really close thing over many turns. So we have to make her commit to an all-out attack and catch her when she overextends, taking that minor risk.
White Soul will expect retaliation, a counterattack... but not the Conceptual Language; due to RR and Insight still being in hearing distance, those two might get hurt as well... but if our opponent goes down, that is acceptable to me.

Weaponizing [PEACE] - because of course we'll weaponize peace. We're human, after all.

Are you sure that [PEACE] is the best thing to say? We could theoretically say other things.

Well... do we know any other words in the Conceptual Language @crystalwatcher?

    [X] Plan Rain of Light
-[X] Try and keep the distance between you and both of White Soul's bodies as small as possible.
-[X] Once you are as close as you think you'll get cast Starshine at both of White Soul's bodies. You've already used it against dozens and hundreds of targets so hitting just two, and the area around them to avoid clone teleport shenanigans, can't be too hard.

-[X] The moment she does, charge at her and call out [PEACE] in the Conceptual Language from as close as possible to stop her from reacting, then hit her with the Panzer Blade as often as possible
-[X] If she is out of your direct range in that moment or gets away from you, cast Celestial Severance or Starshine, whichever is more likely to hit her
    [X] Plan Fire Everything
-[X] Fire Starshine at White Soul, trying to fill the air with so many projectiles White Soul can't dodge even with body-deletion.
-[X] If she gets within 50 meters of you, activate Core Purge.
-[X] Continue using your spells until White Soul is dead.
    [X] Plan Big Booms
-[X] Start blasting with Purifier Beam at your own feet and sweeping towards White Soul. Aim for as much AOE as you can as long as you avoid engulfing the barrier.
-[X] If White Soul backs away and gives a lull try to hit the barrier to weaken it, aim away from where Insight is located.
-[X] If White Soul moves to the barrier curse and fly far enough away that she can't reach you quickly.
[X] Plan Someday This Will Work
-[X] Tell Sega to go through the wall or the ceiling.
-[X] Fly about halfway down the hall and activate Core Purge along the way. Make sure to watch both bodies.
-[X] If she avoids it by going through a wall, carve a hole and follow. If she goes into the central structure, follow at max speed. Stay in the middle of passages/rooms in order to prevent her from using corners. Return quickly in case she's circling around to go for the others.

.....I'd assume that any concept is valid. Unless Nepgear isn't (yet) divine enough to say concepts that she doesn't have a direct connection to.

Hm... fair enough.
On the other hand, I like the irony that was pointed out to me before
Weaponizing [PEACE] - because of course we'll weaponize peace. We're human, after all.
so I would rather have it stay; it does not matter what we say anyway, anything in the Conceptual Language should work.

Guys, remember Sega, Amanda, and Insight are trapped in a shrinking box. I really don't think that shouting in the Conceptual Language is a good idea, especially since last time we spoke a word in it we injured Gabriel and killed another angel without meaning to.

And I think that it is the best shot we have. We can not afford to waste any time... but we only have one chance to get a drop on White Soul with Starshine; if that does not work as your plan expects, a surprise-Core Purge will not make the difference, either.

Plus, Sega is Divine as well; she will not be hurt by the Conceptual Language.
Why do you think the first line in my vote is to get some distance? So that if the other two are influenced by the usage, they are not as harshly hit as White Soul.

The angel that got killed by us was right next to us, and Gabriel was very close as well.

So long as we keep a bit of distance - the first part of the plan - they'll be fine, and it's a very good way of stunning White Soul in a way she won't see coming.

Yeah, I'm gonna try to nip the potential to bite us in the ass in the bud.

@crystalwatcher, I have a few questions about the Divine Language.

1: Will it have an effect on Sega at all, since she's also a Fragment of Peace?

2: Does speaking the Divine Language run the risk of knocking Red Rose unconscious or otherwise injuring her?

3: Same as question 2, but applied to Insight.

4: Does distance have an effect on how the Divine Language effects people?

Seems to me it'll be easier to deal with the Seal than trying to outright kill White Soul

And then we can hash out whether she deserves a shot at redemption when she's unconscious

Why are you assuming that if Starshine and Core Purge fail, that shouting PEACE in the divine language will connect?

I mean it the other way around.
If we yell something in the conceptual (not divine) language first, chances are that it will stun/surprise/hurt White Soul, which would maximise the chance of actually having success with any Spell we throw at her.

What I said there is that we have exactly one attempt to use Starshine to get her before she knows what it can do exactly; if this does not do the trick, no further usage will work. Core Purge has the same range as Celestial Severance, so she will already stay out of it... and us suddenly bullrushing her to pull it off will tell her we are planning something.
Basically, Starshine has the highest reach aside from the Purifier Beam; if we use it, we have to make that one surprise-range count.

Red Rose talked about how it is easier to plan for something you know about. Once White Soul saw Celestial Severance, she immediately started to keep one body out of its reach; which means that our first usage of any of our Spells has the highest chance of success because she can not yet have a plan for how to counter it.

On that note, @crystalwatcher
Can those outside of the range of Core Purge tell when Core Purge has been activated? As in, is there a visual component to Core Purge?
You shine very fucking BRIGHTLY.

Well... do we know any other words in the Conceptual Language @crystalwatcher?
You have an awareness of the original form of the Conceptual Language as used by the original Concepts during the Calamity. AKA, you'd be able to hold a good conversation but everyone and their mother could hear your archaic dialect that will gib mortals within regular hearing distance.

Yeah, I'm gonna try to nip the potential to bite us in the ass in the bud.

The following is everything I've said on the Conceptual Language up until this point:

As fucking hilarious as this image is, the mechanics behind the Conceptual Language are a hell of a lot more complicated then that. Later on if you guys decide to take the options to look more into it, you'll figure out why.

Literally the only mortals capable of learning the conceptual language are the Drives and Cores.
(And a tiny handful of other people but that requires specific events to play out properly.)

The Conceptual Language goes beyond sound. It's why I write it like

[THIS]
Instead of like "This."

It's the reason why just handing Anastasia a megaphone wouldn't work.

So, in turn:
  1. No. Sega is immune to the damage caused by the Conceptual Language, and if she hears Anastasia speak it, she'll be able to use it herself.
  2. Very likely, yes.
  3. Insight will get tanged.
  4. The farther away they are, the less damage they'll take. If they have some form of boost from a higher-leveled existence though, they'll have greater resistance to it.

So, with those three...
Say we take more distance to our allies and use the conceptual language then, would it still kill Insight?

Well, the key issue with that is gaining the necessary distance in the first place.

Also, from that answer, and the fact that Aquila and Lucky didn't, that Heaven had some sort of dampening effect? Because I originally thought it might have been Core Connection, but they didn't have that back then.

I doubt that White Soul would just keep standing where she is; she will not let her second body get in Nepgear's range... which means that that one will fall back when we go forwards; the other one might still stand around, but we can just have her delete it with a swing.

Our main advantage is that she will not expect the conceptual language...

Great, now I am thinking about screaming [Inquisition] at her... because nobody expects that.

So... theoretically, we could talk to Cosmos with that? If we found an access-point to the Divine Entity Phone, that is?

This makes me think that those who are using Progenitor Golems won't be harmed when we use the Conceptual Language.

Also means that perhaps the Maidens and WEAPONs have partial resistance to it. Those affected by buff spells aligned with Divinity might also have some resistance.

Beyond that, only others I could see being part of that "tiny handful of others" is the Goddesses.
We have discovered a way to bypass To Stand Amongst Gods. Kinda ironic of a method given the ability's name :V

Yes, Heaven had a damping effect. It actively tried protecting everyone from it, but it lacked the metaphysical weight to save everyone from damage.

Yes, but be aware of the possible consequences.
