Crystalwatcher's Magical Girl Quest!

Well now we kinda have to start the offensive as soon as it pops up. Because under the current system the longer we take the worse of the Unified Light will be during the offensive.

Actually, she lost her head because the grunts got smeared, so that can't have been her fault.
Didn't she technically have initiative to take the first turn of the battle, but was too much in shock to actually use that initiative? Sixth Heaven already used her surprise attack to knock Nepgear into a hole, which means that initiative should have gone to whoever had the most relevance to the story, which would be either JC or Sega.

Sixth was the first opponent of that caliber that Uni ever met. Which lead to her freezing up when Sixth's Overwhelming Presence slammed down on her.

she also might feel less bad about how nep is ahead of her, she's likely going to realize that this is the kind of thing her and team gear deal with on almost literally every mission. The reason nep is stronger is because the last month has ben an unending stream of trauma and near death experiences.

That's only once she finds out that by our standards, this was a mission which went well. Right now she still has no clue that this is what we deal with every day!

yep, and after watching team gear shrug off the death of an entire squad she's' likely going to ask someone who knows about the kind of stuff about team gears mission history.

-Operation: Answerer-
"The Last March of the Light." - Rei Mitsubishi

Objective: Reclaim Elysium, the capital City of Hope, and crush the collective might of the Unified Darkness.

Unified Light's Available Tactics
:

Akashic Pillar / The Counter Force:

Throne of Heroes
(Pending) - The mass deployment of Magical Girl Forces in a single titanic assault on a known enemy position. A focused strike of such overwhelming power that no known Unified Darkness force can counter it.

Glass Everything (Available) - A rain of nuclear warheads upon a target location. Focus on groups of high-level demonic forces of Class 6 or higher. Will destroy everything in a given area, friend or foe.

The World's Titans (Pending) - Deployment of experimental Mecha-Forces to meet elite enemy combatants in place of Magical Girl Squads.

Counter Guardians (Pending) - The Release of [REDACTED] upon the battlefield. Ensures the initiative during a Clash, and extra damage to Unified Darkness forces.

The Fairy Home Realms:

Super Commandos (Pending) - Deployment of the Death Squadron behind Enemy Battle Lines for direct assaults upon the Unified Darkness' command structure throughout the fighting.

Fairy Dance of Death (Pending) - Mass deployment of Fairy Battle Mage Squadrons throughout Unified Light forces to meet Dark Star warlocks.

Wrath of the Gods (Pending) - Dedicated kill-teams for casting Warbook: METEOR upon fortified enemy positions. Allows the Fairy Forces to summon an Emissary of Mistilin to the field.

Heart of Light (Pending) - Large groups of Fae healers are scattered into the assaulting forces in order to reinforce the stamina of the fighting force, as well as reduce the number of casualties allied forces take during the fighting.

False Heaven / The Angelic Host:

Ragnarök 'n Roll (Unavailable) - Uses the Rooster of Ragnarök to trigger cataclysmic disasters against fortified positions, such as fortresses and entrenched forces.

Flamestrike From God (Pending) - Groups of Angel Spellcasters call down pillars of holy fire against concentrations of demons, disrupting Demonic formations as well as sowing chaos in enemy ranks as their soldiers are set ablaze.

The Biggest and the Baddest (Pending) - Heaven's equivalents of Class 6 and higher Demons are deployed to the field. The titans of Light walk again.

The Ultimate Light (Pending) - The effectiveness of all War Angel's "Presence of Light" becomes uninterruptible by the Unified Darkness.

The Empire of Elves / The Endless Legion:

The Infinite Tide (Pending) - The Elf Legions are deployed in their entirety. The Unified Light will not risk running out of Elf Reinforcements during the fighting.

Champions of Magmos (Pending) - Elf Commando Teams are deployed in place of Magical Girl squads to assault key strategic positions during the fighting.

Weak, But Numberless (Pending) - The Elf Legions will willingly take extra casualties during a Clash to cause bonus casualties to the Legions of Hell.

Faith in the Light, To Victory (Pending) - The Elf Legions are immune to morale damage.

Note from QM: You won't get all of these, otherwise the attack on Hope will be way too easy. But the more you get, the better off you'll be.

Remember folks we will at best only get 1/3 of these and every day after the 30th leaves the UD in a better position while the UL bleeds out and probably loses some of the gains we got.

The worst part is with the UD perfect information collection, the UL's total lack of it, and the UD's perfect teleportation and striking capabilities, even surviving that far will be harsh.

OK, can we stop with this? It's starting to get annoying here.

Jaegers? Jaegers.

Excellent synergy between the Elven options; the minmaxy route would probably either focus on getting all of these or wouldn't bother with any of them.

The UD does not have perfect information collection, the UL does not have a total lack of it, and the UD does not have perfect teleportation and striking capabilities. Why do people think that?

Because you guys keep saying that they dont, but in story it has been proven again and again that they actually do? It is really hard to take your word for it when we have exactly zero evidences in story to the contrary.

I think the issue is that we had an overwatch character added to us who supposedly negates sneak attacks... And we ended up getting sneak attacked anyway.
She was under magical stealth right up until she entered the battlefield by triggering her Magical Girl transformation. That's how the Kill Teams managed to move around without being detected and murdered by vehicles sent to intercept them.

Where have they ever demonstrated such capabilities?

I think the issue that makes us think this is that the UD has never made a wrong move. They always make moves that would be completely and totally successful barring shit we pull out of our ass, which is why that everything fails if we're not present.

Meanwhile, Akashic Pillar seems leakier than a rowboat made of paper, given how they seem completely incapable of keeping a secret so far.
