Crystalwatcher's Magical Girl Quest!

As far as the Goddess Red thing goes, I find her too valuable to kill. She has the capability to bring people back from the dead. And I mean properly back, none of that "came back wrong" bullshit.
She is the only one I know of who can do that, and the only other person with the potential to do that that I know of is a fresh Epic with a vendetta against Red, so one of 'em is liable to end up dead no matter what, and the newbie doesn't have the best odds.

Analysis powers go!

[]The Victorious Dead (Operation: Soul Collector)
Do you remember the Old Guard? They were the first. The Originals. It was their era that gave birth to the List, the Rankings. Some of them are still around, but others are long dead... and even today some of their names are still known household by household. Whispered in awed reverence, or with a tremor of fear. White Soul, Red Rose, Sixth Heaven, Silver Hero... Before the Goddess Four. Before the WEAPON. Before the Maidens... They were the legends, the names that everyone feared coming across on the battlefield. And they're coming back. Team GEAR's run-in with Goddess Red at the West Wall Memorial Cemetery brought to light a very disturbing fact. The dead aren't staying that way. And their clash against the Nightmares in Boston revealed something even worse: they're not on our side. We've collected lists of where some of the most terrifying Girls of their times had been interred for their eternal rest. Most of them have already been hit. Red Rose is on the move, hunting down old friends, and enemies alike. She has her apprentice with her, but we're not sure if she can do it alone. Even if she is the Avatar of Victory.
Known Allies: Red Rose, Insight, ????
Confirmed Enemies: White Soul, Silver Hero, Grey Champion, Solar Radiance, Lunar Radiance
Possible Combatants: Goddess Red, ????

So this one looks pretty straightforward in consequences if we mess this up. GR gets more minions, the UD gets more high-tier fighters, and the UL gets more enemies. Our confirmed allies include the super-killy Number 10, her protege, and one other lady. Confirmed enemies include 2 Epics, and three Girls who I am presuming are part of RR's old crew, including a former Number 1 who went bugnuts insane. I'm presuming that Silver and Grey are also Legends. We might fight GR, and at least one minion. It's likely that the minion will be Juggernaut Drive, due to hinting from the GM. ...we need to figure out how to get Gabriel to focus on increasing Presence of Light's level fast.

[]The Pale Light of The Moon (Operation: Artemis)
Can you hear the whispers? The voices of the beasts upon the wind? They whisper of hate, and a desire for the end. To be alone in the cosmos with the one they love. Something is happening between Gaia and Shiva. And no one has a clue what it is. Their last clash would have ended in failure if it wasn't for Team RIOT's intervention, but they were almost killed regardless. The girls of any strength capable of standing amongst these gods are few and far between, but we need someone on the ground, with eyes and ears capable of telling us what's happening.
Known Allies: The Four Horse(wo)men
Confirmed Enemies: ????
Possible Combatants: Gaia's WEAPONs, Maidens of the Apocalypse

Now this one isn't too clear on possible consequences, apart from not knowing what Gaia and Shiva are up to. Considering Gaia has an Assimilation Plot in the works, and Shiva-Sil wants to kill all humanity for some reason that probably only makes sense to them, I don't feel comfortable with letting either of them act as the please. Confirmed allies include the Four Horse(wo)men, who are four Epic-tier combatants. There are currently no confirmed enemies. Possible Combatants include the WEAPONs, and the Maidens if the Apocalypse, who collectively occupy Numbers 5 through 9. ...I don't think the Four are capable of even getting a draw against either of the teams as they are.

[]The Road to Elysium (Operation: Charon)
It was the greatest portal Humanity has ever made. A permanently open gateway to Hope, with a two-way highway twenty lanes wide. Thousands moved through it daily, both ways. Rush hour was a bitch, but we didn't care. It was a monument to our future, a symbol of what awaited us all... but now it lays dormant. That cannot stand. The Highway to Elysium needs to be reopened, but doing so presents a risk that we can't reasonably take without proper preparation. We need forces, a lot of forces... and we know exactly where to get them. The Fairy-Elf Fortress at Milidia has been all that's held Earth's flank ever since Reluxus fell. Forty thousand Elves, Ten Thousand Fairies, and nearly an entire division of Human soldiers hold it against an endless tide of raving demons. But its true strength lies in the more than fifty Magical Girls that man its walls and turrets. It's a concentration of power that has held Hell itself at bay for half a decade now, but we need those Girls if we're going to retake Hope. But we can't leave Milidia undefended, otherwise the Fairy Home Realms will be overwhelmed. So we're going to insert a strike team to close the Hell Gates that feed the Unified Darkness reinforcements and rip their legs out from beneath them in one move. But it's not going to be easy.
Known Allies: Crimson Hood, Flawless Paladin, Sumire Saber, Sakura Saber, Madama Morte
Confirmed Enemies: Hell's Seventh Legion
Possible Combatants: Army of the Apocalypse

So...this. Consequences for failure include accidentally letting Demons into the Fairy Home Realms, and likely the slaughter of thousands of innocents, in addition to not being able to remove the forces from Milidia for the Hope Operation. Confirmed "Allies" include GR's Opposite, a Girl haunted by a literal manifestation of her worst nightmares, a Girl ranked at 45 and her little sister, and a Girl who is most likely a traitor. Confirmed Enemies are Hell's Seventh Legion, which likely has metric fucktons of Demons, Dark Star magic-users, Lesser Nightmares, Dark Magical Girls, and likely Greater Nightmares as well. Possible Combatants include GR's Army of the Apocalypse. Can someone check and see how we would do against the Spawns of Chaos with Starshine at its current level please?

@crystalwatcher, a few questions.

1: What did the Girls who were planning on doing the Relaxus Mission but wound up not doing it due to lack of manpower do all day?

2: What is the average composition of a Legion nowadays?

3: During the Charon mission, will we be attacking the Hell Gates on the Milidia side, or the Hell side?

4: Can we go ahead and have that conversation with Gabriel about her Presence of Light Ability before she starts spending XP?

Don't really care Lost. No matter you say, what arguments you use, you aren't going to budge my decision regarding her ultimate fate a single bit.

Why, though? What good does killing her do?
Please understand, I'm not just asking this of you two, but of everyone else concerned with this debate: Please either drop it for now or take it to the PMs. You have your reasons, someone else as their reasons, and that's ok, but we will most likely not be in a position to do anything but stop Goddess Red from adding to the UD's forces when we meet her, so how about we save the morality debate for when we can actually do something about her, ok?

Um, what? Gaia wants humans to be strong as they are her weapons, so where does a assimilation plot come from?
I remember the GM saying earlier in the quest that Gaia has an Assimilation Plot concerning humanity going, and Angel WEAPON's comments from when we met her, the Maidens, and White implied that that was still a thing.

Something people seem to have missed is the name. Pale Light of the Moon?

Fine I'll drop it.

Also:
White snarls, "But the survivors will be far more powerful then they were originally! Isn't that what your precious 'mother' wants in the first place you bitch?!"

Angel glares at Goddess White over her shoulder. "Of course that's her eventual goal. For humans to be individually strong enough to destroy entire mountain ranges! To be capable of reshaping the landscape on a whim! But at the same time she understand that turning all of Humanity into one giant cosmic paperweight defeats the whole purpose of forcing her weapon to take on such strength! She's seen every NGE that's come out! She knows what doing that is going to lead to, she's not an idiot.

She wants humanity to remain numerous. By increasing their individual power, their overall strength is going to rise exponentially. If a base human can bench press a super tanker, think of how strong the Magical Girls are going to be! This virus defeats that purpose entirely!"
No Assimilation Plot for Gaia.

That Bloodborne Hunter Chick. Yeah I remember.

1: What did the Girls who were planning on doing the Relaxus Mission but wound up not doing it she to lack if manpower do all day?
They all went on minor missions that still needed to be done but were less important.

2: What is the average composition of a Legion nowadays?
Somewhere close to 3 billion demons apiece. They've been reduced to something like eleven legions from their original twenty one at... crap I can't remember how many.

3: During the Charon mission, will we be attacking the Hell Gates on the Milidia side, or the Hell side?
Milidia side. Though I might throw in an option to try and infiltrate onto the other side, but does that sound like a good idea at all?

4: Can we go ahead and have that conversation with Gabriel about her Presence of Light Ability before she starts spending XP?
Only if you guys go back to the Base. Otherwise Anastasia is thinking about other things.

Um, what? Gaia wants humans to be strong as they are her weapons, so where does a assimilation plot come from?
Gaia's plans for humanity can be summed up as "So long as Humanity as a whole comes through stronger, it doesn't matter how many die." A third of the population needs to be wiped out, but the result is an average strength increase of 4% across the board? She'd do that happily. A thousand newborn babies need to be skinned alive, but it results in the Average IQ going up by 2 points? She's ok with that.

If she could get away with doing the Evangelion thing, and turning Humanity into one massive godlike being? She'd do it in a heartbeat.

When it comes to individual humans she could care less. When it comes to the entire Human race? So long as we come out of it stronger, she could care even less then that.

It's a thing.

Who say's it's targeting Shiva-Sil?
Careful~ :V:V:V

Thank you.

Fucking Hell no. Paleblood Moon wants EVERY Divine Entity Dead and if we go we're nothing but a target. Let is show up and fuck up ShivaSil. Gaia won't die from it so it's fine.
Would we count as a Divine Entity to Flora though?

Who say's it's targeting Shiva-Sil?
...oh god damnit. What has Flora's metaphorical panties twisted in a knot by the existence of Divine Entities, anyway.

They all went on minor missions that still needed to be done but were less importan
I see. Did any of them get enough XP that you feel you need to talk with their creators again?

Milidia side. Though I might throw in an option to try and infiltrate onto the other side, but does that sound like a good idea at all?
No it does not. Just wanted to make sure. Thanks for answering my questions.

Who say's it's targeting Shiva-Sil?
It hates every Divine Entity. I don't really see why it would not attack Shiva-Sil and focus only on Gaia instead. Also remember what Lost was doing when we were choosing a Mission Last Time Gore? If your going to drop bullshit 'Oh God Horrible Things Are Going To Happen If We Don't Do This Right Now!' hints for one option, then do it for the others, or don't comment at all.

No Assimilation Plot for Gaia.

Ninjed, i had just found that passage and put into multi-quote... meh.

All in all i don't care all that much what mission we do, i will likely find it all funny. Still after the one with red rose i think the pale moon would be the next best, and most amusing all up, simply as it looks like something so outside our scope and yet so vital.

There's a reason I don't like Gaia.

Incidentally, that reminds me:
"Is it bad? That I no longer feel bad about the deaths of the soldiers around me... so long as they're not a part of Team GEAR?" You hadn't known the Security Team at all. So their deaths didn't even register properly to you. But Judgement Core? She was below you, crying her eyes out over their ends. Did that make you a monster?
Can I just mention this is really sad?

Because Gaia is the strongest in the "World-Affinity" class, and teaming up with Shiva-Sil makes the job easier for both. Then they can kill each other. Basic common sense, no out-of-character knowledge required.

Also, I would give non-thread based hints as an apology, since I seem to have riled you up, but I've got nothing that fits for the others. Mainly because I don't know.

Crystal only tells us what's happening after we pick a particular option.
