Crystalwatcher's Magical Girl Quest!

[X] Plan Upgrade 2.0
-[X] Purcgase Lesser Gods (550)
-[X] Purchase Segarite Core (2000)
-[X] Upgrade Celestial Severance to level 10 (170)
-[X] Upgrade INDESTRUCTIBLE CORE to level 20 (1450)

[X] Plan Kill the Skeleton Bitch
-[X] First, Judgement Drive will cast Changing Faith to make Sixth Heaven think we're on her opposite side.
-[X] Next, Solid Drive will cast Dress Break on the Demon King.
-[X] Then, Judgement Core will cast The End.
-[X] The soldiers, including Team GEAR and M.E.C.A. Force, will all rain synchronized fire upon Sixth Heaven and her Demon King.
--[X] Gabriel will switch to her Soul-Severer and join in the firing.
-[X] Lucky will activate her Avatar of Arcana ability, then begin spamming Wing Blast and Dragon's Breath all she can.
-[X] Judgement Drive will cast Sword Beam after Judgement Core casts her spell.
-[X] Solid Drive will defend Solid Core. If things look like we're going to lose people, then she will activate ???? near Solid Core.
-[X] Solid Core will continue fighting to consciousness.
-[X] If Sixth Heaven dies, everyone is to focus on finding and killing any UD members, in addition to looking for any pieces of Sixth Heaven that could be used by Goddess Red to revive her.

Demon King: 5,000 Base Resilience, No Dice, +300 Legendary Existence, -1,250 Armor Pierce = 4,050 Damage Reduction

19,515 Total End Damage

Demon King: 25,000 - 19,515 = 5,485 Health Remaining
Also of note is what happens in this calculation if Solid Drive inflicts her debuff first. Then this part becomes.
Demon King: 1750 Base Resilience, No Dice, +300 Legendary Existence, -437 Armor Pierce = 2050 Damage Reduction.

21,515 Total End Damage.

Demon King: 25,000 - 21,515 = 3,485 Health Remaining

Avatar of Arcana (Active)
-For five turns, Lucky Star is capable of utilizing up to five spells in one action, regardless of what those spells are. After the fives turns are up, she is rendered unconscious for the rest of the Battle Arc.

This ability acts like a mix between Multi-Caster and Omni-Caster.

It does so by both:

A) Removing the limit on the actions that can be spent to cast spells. (OMNI-CASTER)

B) Allowing one action to fuel five spell casts. (MULTI-CASTER)

When under the effects of Sixth Heave's Overwhelming Presence, Lucky Star is capable of casting a total of five spells per turn with her single action.

But after 5 turns, she's rendered insensate from the mana overload.

Go to sleep you silly fool.

Also guys what's our effective No Sell Threshold with Level 20 ICORE?

Well, I think we can all agree that Judgement Core's likely going to be the MVP for this mission. Her spell all but guarantees a OHK on Sixth Heaven, even if her Demon can Intercept spells (and we already have explicit WOG that it can't) it still gets killed and her along with it.

Judgement Core for the win!
MVP is a rather tricky debate for this fight. Solid Core pretty much soloed the giant army of demons, but Judgement Core killed the boss.

It's just like we told her, we're better at clearing out large numbers of weak enemies and she's better at defeating small numbers of powerful enemies.

On a different note, now that we don't have a spells/turn limit at all, does anyone else want to change the upgrade plan so that instead of taking Indestructible Core from level 10 to level 20, it takes IC from 10 to 15 and then takes Purifier Beam from level 15 to level 20, allowing us to cast 5 spells per turn instead of 4?

[X] Plan Efficient Upgrades
-[X] Lesser Gods (550xp)
-[X] Segarite Core (550xp + 2,000xp = 2,550xp)
-[X] Celestial Severance to Level 10 (2,550xp + 170xp = 2,720xp)

Rather then blowing 1,450xp on levels in ICORE, which provide a pretty terrible return when we've got Segarite Core, I suggest saving our XP to see what, if anything, Lesser Gods and Segartie Core unlock. Odds are they are going to be pretty high level, and high XP cost, things given the XP investment required to reach them.

[X] Plan Overwhelming Power
-[X] First, Judgement Drive will cast Changing Faith to make Sixth Heaven think we're on her opposite side.
-[X] Next, Solid Drive will cast Clothing Break on the Demon King and Samael will cast Libras on Sixth Heaven, or the Demon King if he can't hit Sixth Heaven.
-[X] Then Judgement Core casts End Game on the Demon King and Sixth Heaven
-[X] If Sixth Heaven is still alive then
--[X] Gabriel will attack with her Blade of Light
---[X] If Sixth Heaven is still alive then Lucky will activate her Avatar of Arcana ability, then begin spamming Dragon's Breath all she can.
-[X] Once Sixth Heaven is confirmed dead the Drives will scour the area to ensure no trace of her remains for Goddess Red to resurrect her with.

First and foremost by limiting the number of attackers I can ensure that if Demon King pops back up while we're fighting it won't kill basically everyone on the field. Secondly I ensure JC targets Sixth Heaven as well as the Demon King, in hopes of getting her in the splash. Thirdly I have Gabriel stick with her Blade of Light, even though it means closing to melee, because otherwise she'd be screwed if Demon King starts retaliating.

With ICORE Level 20 Nepgear has 5,000 Maximum Health, a Base Resilience of 2,100, and thus a NST of 7,050. However at that point NST is really pointless because Segarite Core means Nepgear can regenerate 3,750 Health per turn which, thanks to ICORE and No Longer Human, is equivalent to 750,000 Health.

That's also why ICORE Level 20 is a complete waste. With Nepgear's current Maximum Health she regenerates the equivalent of 450,000 Health per turn, technically it's 550,000 Health per turn if we include Gabriel's Aura of Light healing, which is beyond pretty much anything but planet cracking attacks, and those are powerful enough they'd kill us outright anyway.

See I thought about that. Except it means Nepgear's base damage hits 43,606 which makes her collateral problems worse. Plus I figure it's better to wait and save the XP to see if we unlock anything cool from Segarite Core and Lesser Gods.

Also...depending on how this ends and the situation with Rex, I either want to jump into the Army Actions, or train so we can actually control our Doom Beams.

Personally I'm hoping to jump onto the Reluxus mission either today, if Team GEAR feels up to it, or more likely tomorrow.

Edit: We need to do it ASAP before word about Nepgear's genociding abilities spreads too much. Hopefully we can catch them off guard.

There's one caveat I'd like to add to this.

On the off chance that there's yet another boss fight right after this, I don't think that Lucky should activate Avatar of Arcana unless the Demon King also survives.

Saving for new unlocks is a good point.

We have WOG that THIS is the Boss Fight. There's not going to be anything after Demon King dies.

Eh. I'm 99.999% certain that The End will kill Sixth Heaven straight off so it's not a real concern. That said I'll rejigger the priority to make her activating it less likely.

If Lucky ends up using Avatar of Arcane now it will only because we need it since by this point she'd be the last person who can safely attack Sixth Heaven.

Based UberJJK too fucking good. A minor improvement over what I had is still an improvement. Only one thing though, it's 'Clothing Break', not 'Dress Break'. This isn't DxD dude.

If the Demon King is dead, but Sixth Heaven is still alive, then attacking her becomes super easy.

Both Overwhelm and Godlike Strength are exclusive to the Demon King, which means that with it gone, Sixth Heaven can't do any Intercept at all, which means that all you need to do is be able punch through her 900 Resilience and survive her 12000 damage attacks.

Got up this morning. Read this, Suddenly [DESPAIR]. Walked away doing a good Alectai impression in my head. With less Panic invloved.

Although I was really thinking more on Wail of Madness. Its starting to look attractive cause I fully expect(ed, maybe) people to die. Including JC, and I like Uni dammit.

Not that we'd be able to save her soul.

True. Issei wouldn't let his Harem die.

Uber, for the most part, you make good points. However, I must disagree very vehemently regarding your opinion of gaining further IC levels.

Tell me, do you think, if we fight in an army, that the enemy soldiers are going to be nice enough to let us be healed after every attack? That they'll gladly let our allies support us? That they won't, in fact, be trying their hardest to reduce us to bloody smears on the ground?

Because they are.

They are going to try to kill us. They are going to try to kill our teammates. They will try to take away every advantage we have, just to make killing us easier.

Gaining levels in IC is not a waste. It 's a method of ensuring our survival. Every level increases our health, which increases the amount of health Segarite Core restores. Every level increases our Resilience, which increases the amount of damage an attack or spell has to do in order to actually hurt us. Because they will. They will bringing their best and brightest, and as it was painfully demonstrated just this update, our defenses are not enough to protect us yet.

That is why my plan has us leveling IC. Because it helps us survive. Because it makes us tougher. Because every level means we're that much closer to actually being able to stand amongst the truly high-class fighters and hold our own.

our defenses are not enough to protect us yet.

More HP wouldn't really have protected us from getting knocked out.

And while it may not be true that the best defense is a good offense, it is certainly true that if you kill your enemies first, they can't kill you for a while until Red brings them back!
That is why my plan has us leveling IC. Because it helps us survive.

And I do, actually, want to get even tougher. But I don't think more levels in IC is necessarily the best way to do that.

Segarite Core is a good defensive upgrade, and I'm willing to bet that there's something behind it that will boost our tankiness.

If not, we haven't spent the XP and can dip a bit into IC if we need more defense.

We already know that IC is the best single defensive ability we're going to get. If an attack is under 99% of our current Health, it will block it. Everything else gets reduced by 99%, and we get a single free save from death per turn that very few things can bypass. However, if we actually fought someone who is both capable of both fighting in the same leagues we are, and penetrating our defenses, do you honestly think we'll be able to survive without outside interview? Because I do not. We need more level of IC.
