And now we're down to just two candidates for the master of Saber; Hitomi and Miyuki. Looks like we'd better get to work on our wakame friend so she's sure to summons Saber before this is all over.

[x] Time resume.
-[x] Have Archer fetch Avalon and give it back to Kirika.
--[x] Fall over. It seems repeated use of your newfound mastery of Isa combined with Archer unleashing all of the things has taken its toll on you.

[X] Plan Make Sure The City Isn't FUBARed
-[X] Before anything else, question Caren on Archer's claim; you won't allow anyone to just waltz into your city demanding the lives of everyone within it if you have anything to say about it
-[X] Resume time and ask everyone to comb the city to eliminate all remaining familiars
--[X] You and Archer are going to check in on the Shirome girls and Alina first and foremost to make sure nothing's happened to them
-[X] Be sure to inform Lancer of his new Master, if he hasn't already felt the connection between himself and Bazett
-[X] Ask Archer to implant Avalon back into Kirika, and if she's conscious apologize for having asked her to have Berserker use his Noble Phantasm; you had thought that without his Mad Enhancement he wouldn't drain as much Prana, but you underestimated just how costly Berserker is to maintain as a Servant
-[X] (Archer) Sigh and do as your Master says

Once we're sure that all the familiars are mopped up and everyone's alright we could have Homura contact her friends and do her usual nightly things.

[X] Plan Make Sure The City Isn't FUBARed

Wait, so what happened to our anti-poison countermeasures? Did Gil 2.0 already give us something or are we making do with our prior arrangements?

Without another word, Caster flicks the coin high into the air, catching it to reveal "Fate has spoken. The daughter of the house Fraga shall be the one to command Cú Chulainn from hence forward." His decision made, Caster unceremoniously drops the coin into your hand, adding "Keep that, master of Archer, in case either woman needs to be reminded of Fate's judgement."
Ok, I have to know. Was it really up to fate, or was it manipulated?

He did, it was off-handedly mentioned at the start of a day because SVS forgot about it.

Oh, right. The foul-tasting Semiramisomething.
We took it this morning, it tasted disgusting. I didn't forget about it, but because of the way we segued from the meeting to our spar with Kirika and then immediately out the door again while at the same time also hitting one of two flags for Bazett to summon the Saber, I decided it would be easier to work it in at a later point in time. So instead, I implied that Caster gave the antidote to Archer when they met later that night, so that Homura could start the day with Folgers in her cup, and by Folgers I really mean "the most foul-tasting medicine ever conceived by the queen of poisons".
Ok, I have to know. Was it really up to fate, or was it manipulated?
Clearly, it was both: the fate itself obeys the will of the King
I actually meant to end the post with a line giving it all away, but I couldn't fit it in and I didn't want to try pushing myself, so instead you'll be finding out when I get to writing this post later in the day.

Well I just finished binge reading this over the course of three days and I just wish I had managed to find this earlier. I'm always on the lookout for good Homura-centric stories and this is one of the best I've come across. While I was worried at the beginning at how weak Homura was she's both managed to overcome that and turn that weakness into motivation to try diplomacy instead. I'm really liking how this is the most socially adept Homura I've ever seen. Another thing I like is how the Servants don't overshadow the magical girls despite being generally better than them. Anyways I just want to thank you for writing this amazing story.
I suppose that now I've caught up I should start casting my own votes as well. So of course I'll start by just voting for somebody else's plan.

Well, you're here now, and that's what really counts. There's still 15 more days until Walpurgisnacht hits and fresh blood new faces are always welcome! I'm always glad to hear that people have been enjoying my work.

Day 31 Chapter 18
[X] Plan Make Sure The City Isn't FUBARed

As McRemitz-san stares in childish elation at her new set of Command Seals as soon as Nurse Ortensia has finished transferring them to her, while you and the others watch on. "Nurse Ortensia," you call out as soon as the deed is done, and say to her "I need to ask you a very important question, and it's imperative that you answer me truthfully."

"Is this about Mikuni and I being related?"

"No." As much as that whole situation is still making your head spin, you know you can always ask Mikuni Oriko if you need something about it clarified. "I need to know if Archer was telling me the truth, when he said what your Church would do to this city were they to find out." That wry smile on her lips is all the confirmation you need; "It's true, isn't it?"

"A city like this, full to bursting with wraiths and-" Nurse Ortensia's eyes turn to McRemitz-san, unable to hide their glee as she says "-all manner of heresies, if what McRemitz-san has told me thus far is true, would make this city the perfect bloodletting ground for a team of Executors. At the moment, you don't have anything to fear- That's not within the scope of my mission here, so I have no need to report back to my superiors about what's happened here tonight. But, if someone above me were to get wind of this on their own, well, then I can't be held responsible for what might happen next."

"Your mission?" In the short time since she appeared at the banks of the river, you've come to realize that Nurse Ortensia isn't just here in Mitakihara as the school nurse. "What would that be?"

"Three years ago, I was transferred here from my previous church at Fuyuki, to serve as the replacement to one Father Sakura." Sakura. Your eyes flicker in Kyouko's direction, and Nurse Ortensia smiles as you realize you've been caught in her web. "Of course, when I arrived I found a burned-down church in a city of failing religiosity. So I settled in, and with no church to oversee I kept my ears to the ground, looking for signs that the missing elder Sakura daughter had survived the fire. If I found her-" You realize that Nurse Ortensia's words have drawn the attention of the one about whom she is speaking "-I thought the higher-ups might have a use for her if I were to bring her back into the fold." She scratches at her arm; you never saw any Command Seals on her hand; how many more might she have hidden on the rest of her body? "Once I received word from McRemitz that the elder Sakura daughter was indeed alive, I had planned to have Lancer aid me in bringing her back, but I guess that was never an option, was it?"

Just as you aren't about to let some cabal of Church monster-hunters come into your city to wipe everyone out, you're equally not about to let the Church lay claim to one of your allies. You're sure Kyouko would agree with you on that point. "So what do you intend to do now? You've lost your servant, and you've seen that we have much more firepower on our side than you can hope to overcome. So what's next for you?"

Nurse Ortensia shrugs, saying "Maybe I'll inform my superiors that the elder Sakura daughter is dead, and that with no church for me to oversee my mission here should be considered a failure. Maybe I'll bide my time, waiting until I can take her back with me." That sly smile returns to her lips, and her eyes dart again; not to Kyouko, but to Mikuni Oriko. "Or maybe, I'll be able to bring an even greater prize into the fold. Who knows?"

"I'm not about to let that happen, either," you say, allowing time to at last resume. You clap your hands together, calling out to the rest of your team "Alright everyone! We've still got a lot of work to do, so let's get on it! That includes you, McRemitz-san! Get things squared away with your servant and get to work!"

You aren't sure that McRemitz-san heard you, or that she would follow your lead even if she did; but she's certainly quite keen on reuniting with her Lancer servant; and for what it's worth, when she says to him "Come on, Lancer; let's get going," it does almost seem like she's following your lead. Either that, or she had the same idea to break off and go hunting for the remaining familiars independent of you saying it. "We've got a lot of work to do."

"You know, I've been waiting a long time to hear you say those words," Lancer says, twirling his spear with flourish as he joins her. "My master."

You turn the coin Caster gave to you over in your hands as you watch McRemitz-san and her Lancer, and Nurse Ortensia, each take their leave of you and your allies; both sides are the same. "You never intended to let Nurse Ortensia keep Lancer, did you?" Caster says nothing, but the smirk on his face as you hand the coin back to him says everything you need to know.

"What about us?" you hear Archer asking to your mind. "Did you still want me to take the other servants and get going on that?"

"No. Let them go off with their own masters. We'll be checking out Sister Hope and the Shirome girls, to make sure they're still in one piece."
You look down at the still-unconscious form of Kure Kirika; you sigh, and you know that Archer is going to sigh too when you tell him "Oh, and put Avalon back inside of Kure Kirika. We'll need her conscious and able to make Berserker do his job before we can call it a night."

True to your expectations, Archer sighs, but he does as you've instructed; but as soon as he leans down to implant the miracle sheath into your downed ally, she shoots upright, yelling "I'm up!" as though she were merely waking up late to school, and not recovering from a twenty-minute period of unconsciousness. "I'm up; I'm okay. Where's Oriko?"

Hearing her name, Mikuni Oriko rushes over to her lover's side, crouching down and embracing the shorter girl, not caring in the slightest that the dried blood on her lover's face was smearing crimson streaks on the white of her puella magi costume. "Oh, dearest, you're okay!" The two share a flurry of brief but passionate kisses; making you feel rather jealous that you can't share that kind of affection with Madoka just yet. "I was so worried! When you didn't wake up, even after I cleared your Soul Gem, I thought for sure I had lost you..."

Mikuni Oriko's tears wet her and her lover's cheeks, streaking the dried blood like ruined mascara; neither of them care. "I was... It felt like when your head hurts so you try to take a nap to clear it up, but it hurts too much and closing your eyes just makes it worse."

"Oh, dearest, I'm sorry."

"I'm sorry; this was my fault," you say, surprising yourself at the earnestness of your apology to the teary-eyed pair of lovers. "I thought that, with her legs healed and her problems with Berserker taken care of, that Kure Kirika would be able to handle the strain commanding her servant placed on her. I didn't realize how much Berserker's Noble Phantasm would take out of her."

"If I had realized, Mikuni-san, I would have made sure to apply my Grief dampening to Kure-san before letting her do anything," Tomoe-san adds. She wasn't the one who gave the order for free use of all Noble Phantasms; what happened to Kure Kirika wasn't her fault, in your eyes. "I swear to you, I wasn't trying to hurt Kure-san, I just... Wasn't thinking, when I also thought she could handle it. It won't happen again, I promise."

"No," Mikuni Oriko says, rejecting both yours and Tomoe-san's apologies. "You didn't know; how could you have? From your perspectives, Kirika was fine to carry on as the rest of us were. Neither of you did anything wrong. If something had happened to her back then, I don't know if I... But she's fine now; that's all that matters to me." Mikuni Oriko returns her attentions to her lover, and the two share another kiss as she says "I'll make the pain go away as soon as we get home."

"Well, now that that's all settled," Archer says, abruptly calling for an end to the touching reunion, "We should be getting to work, shouldn't we, master?" Your servant looks out to the rest of your team, adding "All of us, not just you and me. I'm sure we've all got a lot of ground to cover to make sure there aren't any stragglers skulking about in the shadows."

And the odds one of the girls in the basement had anything with the Witch's emblem on it are?

So the Sakura family was part of The Church, rather than a church. Interesting.

And in an earlier draft of the fight here, Caren was scheduled to have Cu do his thing to try and take Kyouko back with her immediately after the fighting was done. Fortunately, we outnumbered her six to one, so the smarter Caren decided to abandon the plan to abduct Kyouko right then and there. But now her mission is out in the open, and we know that she now has two potential targets from flock reclamation, not just one. What's going to happen next, I wonder?

The whole Caren situation is a little murky for me. So her entire mission in town is to look into Kyouko's disappearance? The Church had her sidelined in this town for three entire years just to look for one priest's daughter? On a different note I thought Kyouko's father was a religious nutjob who was excommunicated and didn't handle finding out about the supernatural well at all. So I'm a bit confused why the magical side of the Church is at all invested in him and his daughter.

She was sent in primarily to replace him after he was excommunicated, only to find when she arrived that he had gone crazy and killed his family and burned the church down. But, as she remarked to Bazett earlier in the quest, there were rumours going around that the eldest daughter had survived, so she stayed incognito in the hopes of getting some answers, because she believed that the daughter could be a useful asset if reclaimed- If nothing else, she could be re-indoctrinated and given to the higher-ups to decide her fate, rather than letting a potentially useful asset go to waste. It's not her fault that there's no actual church for her to be overseeing, so it's something she's just dealing with as it is. She's trying her best to fulfill her mission within the constraints of the reality she finds herself in.

EDIT: Taking Hyru's comment into consideration, I reworked Caren's dialogue to make my intent for her mission easier to understand.

So in other words she decided she was going to take a vacation and amuse herself with the pain of children.

Seems legit for a priest nun.
That is literally 100% in-character for Caren, especially for the Prisma Illya version who was the basis for my inclusion of Caren in this quest.
... and she is rather carefree about her job as a nurse. She is later revealed to be the Church's representative ..., working as background support as well as supervisor. It is also revealed that she chose to work as a school nurse as it allows her to indulge in her interest in observing the sufferings of children close up.

The basement of the Sakura Church was far enough away from the battle that your guests should still be safe; at least, Caster said they should be. "Make yourself invisible," you say to Archer; none of these girls are aware of the existence of servants yet, and revealing them before you've had the chance to convince someone you can trust to summon Saber, you don't want to take the chance that Nagatsuki Miyuki may be the one to summon them instead.

"How about I wait outside instead, and keep watch?"

"That's fine. I just don't want them seeing you, not until we're ready."
You check the layers of Bounded Field set up by Mikuni Oriko and Lancer; they're all undisturbed. That's good, you think; nothing's gotten in, and nothing's tried to get out. Once you've confirmed that everything is still secure, you cross the threshold. The burned out husk of the Sakura Chuch never gets any easier to be inside of, and even with the windows blown out and a large hole collapsed in the roof, the air still manages to feel stale. You wonder how long the Kyouko of this timeline made her home in these ruins; the Kyouko of previous timelines made her home in a luxury hotel suite she paid for with stolen cash. Could this one have been doing the same, until Rider's appearance made staying somewhere noticeable untenable for her?

You know your footsteps echoing on the stairs has drawn the attention of the girls, but it isn't until you're in view of them that they speak. "You're later than usual, aren't you?" Asako Koito says. "What's wrong? Are things not going your way up top?" You try not to let the night's events show on your face; there's no way she could know what's been happening, so as long as you say nothing she has nothing she can use. "You know, I'll bet if you'd let me go I could be a lot of help to you, since you're having so much trouble and all."

"Your bargaining posture is highly dubious," you say, putting your foot down as you remind Asako Koito which one of you is in charge here. "Unless this is your way of saying that you'll accept the terms I've offered you?"

"I've told you what I want in order to make that happen; and personally, I think what I'm asking for is very fair." Asako Koito narrows her eyes at you; her friends, while remaining silent off to the side, look on her with pleading eyes."She killed my older sister. Murdered her in cold blood. No matter how many times she apologizes to me, it'll never make up for what she's done." "Please, just stop being stubborn!" you can hear her friends screaming at her. "But, if she were to get down on her knees and beg my sister's spirit for forgiveness, then it just can't be helped if my sister accepts her apology."

"Please, Koito, just say you'll take her offer!" Namekata Akira is the first to break, lunging for and grabbing desperately at the hem of Asako Koito's skirt. "I know you're still mad at Mikuni, but being stubborn's not going to help anyone! Just take the deal and we can all go home!"

"I don't even care how much trouble I'd be in anymore!" Nagatsuki Miyuki chimes in, her glasses fogging up from her tears. "I just want to be able to see my mom and dad again!"

"I did say before that you could leave at any time," you say to Namekata Akira and Nagatsuki Miyuki; unless in the time they've had to stew they've once more rekindled their desire for revenge. "If you'd like to go home, I can arrange for you to wake up tomorrow morning in your own beds, safe and sound." You turn your gaze to Asako Koito, adding "Of course, if you'd like to stay in solidarity with your friend, then you have only her to blame for refusing my offer."

"Just because I'm a kid that doesn't mean I'm an idiot." Despite the protests of her friends, Asako Koito remains steadfast in her stubbornness. "If I'm going to sign away my life a second time, I at least want to hear Mikuni begging my sister for forgiveness before I do."

"I'll let her know what you want from her," you say. "Now, before I leave, I'd like to make sure you're all still healthy enough to survive another day or two down here." You hold out your hand, motioning for the one item of value the three girls still have left. "Your Soul Gems; give them to me. I need to make sure your Grief levels are being managed." Namekata Akira and Nagatsuki Miyuki hand their Soul Gems over without issue; Namekata Akira's lime-green star is showing some slight Grief buildup, but it's within acceptable margins. She can probably go for the weekend without a cleansing. But Nagatsuki Miyuki's wine-coloured rose is showing deep swirls of black; she's either taking captivity worse than you thought, or the withdrawal is kicking in and it's wreaking havoc on her ability to manage her Grief. Either way, you apply a Grief Seed to her Soul Gem, making a mental tally of her dept to you. Two normal uses; so that's one Grief Seed Nagatsuki Miyuki owes you so far. You wonder, how many more will she owe you before this is over?

"And you?" you ask Asako Koito, as you hand Namekata Akira and Nagatsuki Miyuki their Soul Gems back. "I just need to make sure you're healthy enough to get through the weekend, that's all."

"I'm fine, thank you," Asako Koito replies. "I don't need your pity or your Grief Seeds."

"Well, alright," you say, turning to take your leave of the three girls from Shirome. "But if you decide you'd like either of them, don't be afraid to ask."

Your string of good luck continues as you and Archer make your way to the warehouse park, and you persist in finding no trace of any familiars that might have escaped. That isn't to say, though, that you're expecting this string of luck to continue. After all, once you open these double doors, you may find trouble waiting for you where Sister Hope lies waiting in stasis.

"Remember to keep your guard up," you say to Archer, hand on your shield and ready stop stop time at a moment's notice if either of you catch sight of a familiar inside. "We've been lucky so far, but we'd be foolish to think that our luck will continue once we're inside." That girl was the witch's thrall, and even with her master dead there's no telling what you might be in for.

Silently, Archer pushes the doors open; your body stiffens as you prepare for the worst, but all you see is the bound and unconscious form of Sister Hope, her long lime-green hair splayed out against the concrete floor on which she lies. You hear nothing moving in the shadows, no trace of the black-on-black of the witch's familiars, as you approach. Her bonds, Tomoe-san's ribbons enhanced with Lancer's runes, remain unbroken. "All clear?" your servant asks, entering just a short two meters behind you.

"I can neither see nor sense any trace of the familiars' presence," you respond, crouching down low and parking the hair at the back of Sister Hope's neck; she's still clean. "It really looks like the witch left her alone once you severed their link."

"Strange. Those familiars fought so hard to keep her that night, and yet the witch never tried to reclaim her afterwards?" Your servant runs a hand through his hair, a look of confusion showing through on his face. "It just doesn't add up any way you think about it."

What had Hitomi and McRemitz-san told you in the aftermath of their visit to Father Despair's sermon that night? Sister Hope had been handing out those homemade rosary necklaces, the same necklaces used to bring scores of familiars into the houses of everyone who accepted one; and once those necklaces were inside peoples' homes... "The witch didn't need her anymore," you say, as you rise back into a standing posture. "Having someone that deeply under its control would have been useful to the witch, I'm sure, but Sister Hope's job was done the moment she put those necklaces into the hands of everyone the witch wanted to eat."

"With the witch gone, it should be safe to wake her up and send her on her way," you say, silently wondering what kind of psychological impact being under the thrall of a witch for as long as she was will have on Sister Hope.

What do you do with Sister Hope?
[ ] Bring Tomoe-san and Lancer here, you're waking her up now
[ ] Bring her back to
-[ ] your place
-[ ] Tomoe-san's place
-[ ] Mikuni Oriko's place
--[ ] and wake her up there

What about her father?
[ ] Doesn't matter; Sister Hope can find her way home on her own
[ ] Get in touch with him and have him
-[ ] meet you at the place of your choosing before you wake his daughter up
-[ ] come pick his daughter up after she's awake
--[ ] How are you supposed to get in touch with him?

Do you press the matter of wiping his memories?
[ ] Yes; with the outside threats this city may be facing next, having him know things he shouldn't is putting everyone at risk
[ ] No; it's up to him to decide whether he and his daughter should be allowed to remember or not
[ ] No; he and his daughter must be allowed to bear the knowledge of what their actions have led to

What do you do next?
[ ] After-action debrief at
-[ ] your place
-[ ] Tomoe-san's place
-[ ] Mikuni Oriko's place
[ ] Give
-[ ] Madoka
-[ ] Sayaka
-[ ] Hitomi
--[ ] a call to let them know everything is alright
[ ] You'll have words with Archer (write-in what those words are)
[ ] Nothing; you'll deal with any straggling issues tomorrow; right now you need to rest
-[ ] Let Assassin touch you while you're getting your rest
-[ ] Screw Assassin; your need to rest comes before her touch fetish. She'll understand, right?

[X] Plan No Surprise Mind Whammies Please
-[X] You'll bring her offer to Mikuni Oriko and let her decide for herself
-[X] Bring her back to
--[X] Tomoe-san's place, where everyone will meet up once they're done mopping up any and all familiars
---[X] and wake her up there
-[X] Get in touch with him and have him
--[X] meet you at the place of your choosing before you wake his daughter up
---[X] How are you supposed to get in touch with him?
----[X] Archer will tell you the phone number he got off of Alina's Student ID
-[X] Maybe; while you feel it's fine that Alina's father has the choice in remembering, wiping Alina's memories may or may not be necessary if killing Elsa Maria hasn't removed the conditioning she applied to Alina
-[X] After-action debrief at
--[X] Tomoe-san's place
---[X] where you first address Alina's situation; ask Oriko/Caster if they see that Alina (and her father as well just in case) is free of Elsa Maria's influence, be it magical or through conditioning
----[X] If they're fine, then just let them free with your phone number in case they ever feel the need to talk about what's happened to them or if they ever need any help; if they're not fine take appropriate actions accordingly
---[X] Ask Oriko/Caster how long the Shirome girls will be safe in captivity before the situation becomes too dangerous for them Grief-wise or when a Witch might come and do it's thing
---[X] Inform everyone that they did a really good job, all things considered; it could've been a lot worse, especially after Archer's Noble Phantasm deactivated, but luckily the Witch's familiars were no longer intangible for some reason
----[X] You'll inform them more about Archer's Noble Phantasm once you get a grasp on things after you speak with them, but regardless they should be able to check his Noble Phantasm's description with their Master Vision; do so now
---[X] Address what happened in the city while they were fighting Elsa Maria; check the news, ask the precoggers, etc. They need to know what's happened to their city.
---[X] They need to make sure to prevent Nurse Ortensia from snatching Oriko or Kyoko in the future, if only to prevent them from being indoctrinated into this "Holy Church" organization which definitely stems from the older and more unforgiving versions of Christianity. You're sure that Oriko and Kyoko agree with your sentiment.
---[X] Bid everyone a farewell and goodnight; apologize that they're leaving things on such a sour note - due to what happened in the city - right before their relaxing vacation, and tell Oriko that you're looking forward to it; give Kirika your well-wishes before their vacation tomorrow
----[X] Ask Oriko if she thinks it might be wise to invite Bazett and Lancer along as well (there's no way you're letting Caren anywhere near Kyoko) considering they did help out in defending the city, and if only to keep an eye on them while you're away from Mitakihara. Also ask her if she foresees any problems or complications that might arise (though be sure to tell her not to precog their relaxing vacation itself for obvious reasons) in inviting along the people they are; do they need to invite any of the recipient's parents along, or even just give them some kind of phone call to placate them?
-----[X] Do as necessary to make sure their vacation is as relaxing and problem-free initially as possible
-[X] Give
--[X] Madoka, Sayaka, and Hitomi
---[X] a group call to let them know everything is alright, but first and foremost asking them if they're okay
----[X] Give them the details, namely that apparently Elsa Maria's familiars emerged from all of Sister Hope's necklaces and items, and that there were far too many scattered all across the city for you do to anything about it once you found out about that tidbit of information, but apparently by taking out the Witch and her tangible familiars it eliminated those residing within the city to the best of your knowledge. Assure them that this whole nightmare is finally over and they can get on with their lives; ask them if they've picked out any swimsuits to bring to Oriko's beach house this coming weekend. Warn them about what you've learned about Nurse Ortensia's allegiances and how she's seemingly looking to kidnap Kyoko at some point, and how they probably should keep their distance from her from now on if possible. Apologize for all the terrible situations that the magical world brought to them and Mitakihara as a whole, it's hard to believe that things have gotten as absurd as they have yourself; this is not a normal occurrence by any means, their city just got unlucky in some aspects.
--[X] McRemitz-san's door a knocking if Oriko wants to invite her
---[X] to invite her to their vacation this coming weekend
-[X] You'll have words with Archer
--[X] asking him about
---[X] Emiya Shirou, who's name you know about and who's currently living among them; how can he be a Heroic Spirit if he's still alive in this era?
---[X] his Reality Marble, how he got it, the meaning behind it, and if his currently living self has it as well
--[X] thanking him for all the help he's been despite keeping such a - now that you've thought about it - relatively mundane and unimportant secret; Witches apparently don't have a monopoly on inner-worlds in the magical side of things, so you can accept that Archer has one as well
-[X] Get some Homusleep
--[X] Let Assassin touch you while you're getting your rest for only an hour or two; Archer will be able to prevent Assassin from overstepping her boundaries

You made me make such a long vote, SVS, I hope you're proud of yourself. /s But yeeaah, this might extend through a couple chapters, that's for sure.

Say what you will about Caster's redecorating of Mami's apartment, but it's still a set up Territory. Who knows what defenses Caster might have set up by using such a skill, just in case they need it when awakening Alina? Speaking of Alina, we gotta make sure that there aren't remnants of the Witch's conditioning still kicking around even after Elsa Maria was killed, otherwise we might be letting go a possible future serial killer/fanatic.

====Affection Changes At The End Of The Day====
[7.5 -> 8] Tomoe Mami - She would've ranked up sooner if it weren't for her aloofness, but luckily she and Homura are getting more in sync and understanding more of one another
[6.5 -> 7] Sakura Kyoko - Kyoko's barely eeking this one out before the vacation, but surviving and persevering through a catastrophe like Elsa Maria has a way of bringing people together, especially since Kyoko's in danger of being kidnapped sometime in the future
[6 -> 7] Mikuni Oriko - Oriko's just shooting up the ranks as time goes by, and with Homura defending and getting into Oriko's mindset so much it's no wonder they're getting closer in some ways.
[4.5 -> 5] Kure Kirika - Kinda the same as Kyoko mixed in with a little bit of guilt while being tapered off by Kirika's annoyance back when Homura was trying to train in time-stop. She's a mixed bag for Homura, currently.
[8-> 9.5] Archer - The only thing that was holding Archer back from jumping up some ranks was Archer's mysteriousness (ironic, I know; Homura definitely summoned a Servant well suited for her) and secrets; since the cat's out of the bag, Archer's become more like the father/guardian figure that he was only pretending to be beforehand to Homura, in her eyes.
[5] True Assassin - She's a mixed bag; some good and some bad. She obviously hasn't done anything to make Homura outright dislike her, even if her presence has been kinda unsettling.
[4.5] Caren Ortensia - Went from kinda neutral, to a 5.5, then down to a 4.5 in the same battle. While Caren hasn't outright agreed with the actions her Church could take, she hasn't disagreed with them either; her mixed bag of helping them save the city vs her future potential kidnapping of Kyoko/Oriko is what warranted such a weird change in ratings.
[5 -> 6] Bazett Fraga McRemitz - Oh, would you look at that, they're acquaintances now. Bazett has only done good for Homura and co and the city so far, even going as far as to redact some information from her reports to help them. She's definitely earned this rating, at least.

EDIT: Cut the plan into comprehensible chunks and redacted the affection changes for now.
EDIT2: Replaced the "how to get into contact" part with Alina's Student ID phone number
