Composite Nanoha-Verse Magic vs Mahouka Magic

Not any named characters, but if you like...

Anyways, this came up from several debates I came up with friends and fellow-anime watchers, but we were debating the type of magic that used in Mahouka verse the type of magic used in Lyrical Nanoha...

However, since Lyrical Nanoha only has a few pieces of magic explained here and there, how about we do a composite of it? Including the popular and posted by our fellow SVers EarthScorpion and Aleph.

So which would top the other, or fair better?

Explaining magic thoroughly is not necessarily a good thing.

Anyway, Arc'En'Ciel should beat anything Mahouka has unless Tatsuya pulls something out of his ass.

I was looking around the Mahouka Wiki (God Forbid why) but apparently Tatsuya's abilities mainly come from an 'information' particle generated by magic.... Something that the Nanoha verse does not have, rendering most of his abilities directly on a Lyrical Mage moot....

So if Nanoha was the Gundam for Magical Girls... Mahouka is the Valvrave.

The bad writing, the WTF-ness of the characters, the extremely bland protags that seem to have the ability to predict everything and do whatever it is to complete the stupid that happens.... Hell, I think we could argue that the two characters in these shows basically read the script.
