In Europe, The EU Member State of Germany has Crowned a New Monarch, A Kaiser( or ina) who's will is as great as the Stars .
In Russia Instability and infighting, results of the Second Russian Revolution is in full swing, the nation no more than a pile of clay waiting to be conquered by anyone if the war is not won quickly.
The Japainse Government in Exile has been established in the Chaos in Vladivostok. A Slice of Japan still fighting on even as their Mother land lies in Ruins Protected by the Faltering but formidable Republic of China and India.
And A Man who walks alone, the path of blood as a Mercenary commander is between all of them,waiting to make his mark upon the world as a Legend to burn the States to sunder.

The show mostly used them as a speed bump to keep Britainian busy

Well EU was supposed to be a counterbalance to the Empire and only power that actually had economic,militarily and any other backbone to counter Britannia.
But due to internal infighting, politics and different interests it never used it influence to the fullest and was always more concerned with internal matters and fear of military taking power, basically it kept it's own military from being to successfull and ended with Britannian Empire conquering and disbanding it.
Now a question : in your timeline due to existence of Kaiserreich i assume that EU was in some sort of civil war in wich Germany united and took over leadership of EU from France ?

And in many ways it shall show, the EU is compitent...on paper, but with Russia in turmoil, Poland has to be the meatshild for the entire east, along with Ukraine.
Oh...The EU is a paper tiger, only held together by the hatred of Britannia, and Military men keeping the Eye on the metaphorical prize.
