…..Or so it was before the fusing of the worlds. When the worlds fused, Hawaii was mysteriously filled with numerous artifacts and weapons, making it an incredibly strategic and valuable location to have control over. But due to a peace treaty with the Denizens who live on this Island state, no one could take it over.

However, under mysterious circumstances, everyone on Hawaii has recently died of Food Poisoning. This leaves the place ripe for the picking.

You have been sent here by your King, a hopeful King or even just your own hopes to rule. You desire to take over Hawaii.

    Series: RWBY

    Background: A young man from the kingdom of Vacuo. As a child, he wandered the rundown streets of his hometown, scavenging for loose change. It was fairly uneventful until his parents were killed in a break in, leaving him to fend for himself.

    Having nowhere to go, he allowed himself to become apart of a small gang. They taught him how to fight and live on the streets and helped him survive. But they did get aggressive whenever he made mistakes. This taught him to always do the job right, no matter what.

    Eventually, they were all arrested and put behind bars. Three years of his life was spent here before a riot gave him the chance to escape. He wandered the wilds for a long time before stumbling onto Cinder Fall and her crew. This marked the day that the boy would be used as a disposable body to her plans. But this quickly became a life of servitude to Salem, after showing his worth so many times.

    Personality:

    It's never easy to put a pin in what Yuki really is, as a person. The influence of where he grew up clearly took root in him. This is shown as he hardly has no problem with committing crimes and stealing from others. He even still wears a face mask and goggles whenever he is doing a crime.

    From a glance, Yuki seems like a cold and distant person with no problem allowing his thoughts to be known. The truth is that Yuki is actually a very nice and somewhat awkward person. His outward appearance makes it seem that he isn't a good person. Growing up in a terrible environment left the boy to exposed to ugliness the world has to offer. These experiences also allowed him to be able to understand people better and read them. But this also made him into someone who has no trouble hurting or even killing.

    Yuki isn't much for crowds and prefers the company of a few people at a time.

    Who do they Work For? (if Anyone): Salem

    Relationship with Whoever They Work For: He is a very loyal, obedient, and overall reliable servant to the Grimm Goddess.

    Appearance:

    Goals: Securing Hawaii for Salem and becoming stronger

    Fears: He never thinks on these things, but maybe it's the fear of being empty is entire life and never knowing true happiness.

    • Well...Took me a bit to work up the creative juices, been awhile since I last apped for an RP, but here's something:
    Name: Bunny (Acting name unless I come up with something better...)

    Series: Happy Tree Friends

    Background: Bunny was just another Tree Friend getting by in life, at times having these odd dreams where he would violently die but all in all had a rather idyllic life much like his other Tree Friends. But then the fusing of worlds came about and with it chaos, reports about this new and hazardous world just outside of their Happy Forest home began to gradual trickle in. Thus the higher ups of the Happy Forest eventually decided something must be done to help protect their home from the possible Evils of the outside world...And so the order was given that the Weaponized Animal Regiment would be reformed in order to deal with these threats and through expeditions out of the safety of Happy Forest, hopefully find Friends and thus Allies for their home.

    Bunny would end up signing onto this newly reestablished adventure, admittedly after being bombardment by recruitment posters and ads, wishing to help defend his home. In training he would find to his surprise that he was quite capable at battlefield engineering, especially tunneling with him being favorably compared to a mole as he would rapidly shift through the ground with his handy-dandy Shovel or E-Tool. He also found that though he was no Mouse Ka-Boom, he was certainly rather capable when using explosives. But eventually his training would come to an end, with it completed he would be sent on his first mission along with his peers from training as a decently sized newly formed Unit.

    And now here we are, Hawaii...Word had gotten to command of the sad and mysterious deaths of the ordinal Denizens of the islands. But it was soon realized that there was an opportunity to this tragedy, Hawaii is very strategically advantageous and frankly lucrative. Many individuals & factions of this chaotic world will be interested in taking and securing this bounty. And thus Bunny and his Unit would be sent to not only recon the site, giving Happy Forest a better picture of the Outside World, but also investigate those who wish to take the Islands. Finding out their goals and moral character, and perhaps even helping one of the many factions hoping to control the Island State. Thus hopefully securing a stalwart Ally & Friend in this chaotic world the Tree Friends find themselves in.

    At least...That is the hope...

    Personality: A friendly if rather shy individual in his civilian life, Bunny in his time in W.A.R. has become a nervous yet willing soldier.

    Who do they Work For? (if Anyone): Weaponized Animal Regiment (The Tree Friends)

    Relationship with Whoever They Work For: Bunny is loyal to the cause of defending the Happy Forest and is willing to do what it takes to protect his fellow Tree Friends from those who would wish them ill...Even if he's terrified as he does so.

    Appearance: A Horizon Blue Bunny wearing glasses and protective goggles as well, with the standard issue uniform of the Weaponized Animal Regiment along with helmet. He supplements it further with Combat Engineering gear including a large heavy-duty backpack filled with digging and tunneling equipment.

    Goals: Finding and securing Allies & Friends for the Tree Friends in order to secure their safety in this...Frankly even more dangerous than usual world.

    Fears: Death...Though at this point that goes unsaid, along failing the Tree Friends and well...The destruction of his home, friends, & family.

    Name: Dr. Nefarious

    Series: Ratchet and Clank

    Background: After several humiliating defeats and setbacks, the good doctor has set aside his plans for galactic domination, at least until he lays claim to a new location for his base. One can't fight against the galaxy by oneself, in most cases. He has made several bids for power in several different ways. The first most notable one, was the biobliterator. A device that can transform "squishies" into magnificent robots! He even built two of them! However, he was defeated soundly by two particular individuals. This is a repeating pattern for him, as he's noticed. His most recent endeavour was to crack open a path to a dimension where he always won. This resulted in him encountering Emperor Nefarious, as well as Rivet and Kit. Emperor was none too pleased by the doctor. After a strange series of events, Emperor was defeated and Dr. Nefarious slipped off, faking his own death. Now, hopefully free of that meddlesome Ratchet and Clank, he might have a chance at dominating at least a little tiny bit of the galaxy. And if he can find where that coward Lawrence went, then all the better. Maybe he could even find a new butler.

    Personality: Crazed to the extreme, Dr. Nefarious has grown familiar with the taste of defeat, and would do nearly anything to get it out of his mouth. He has a penchant for overreacting and being a bit of a control freak. He cares little for friendship.

    Who do they work for? (If anyone): No one. Last time he did, it did not turn out well.

    Appearance: Slender and tall, he is a robot with a purple theme. His fingers end in points, and have two semi-wing looking spikes attached to his back. His head has a green oval-ish dome that covers sensitive instruments that are very good at picking things up, but tend to jam into one particular frequency when overworked.

    Goals: Take over this, "Hawaii" and forge it into a base that he can work from. Expanding across this planet, then expanding across the galaxy.

    Fears: Short robots and medium sized fur covered humanoids wielding wrenches working together. The return of Emperor Nefarious. Being cornered.

    However.... I'll cut you a deal, because I'm desperate for new players. You can keep Nefarious, just swap out the series "Ratchet and Clank" for "Sonic For Hire". And maybe look up Sonic For Hire if you wish.

    No, it's fine. I'm just a big fan of RaC, so I thought I'd give it a shot. I have a few back up characters in mind. So, I just need to ask a specific question regarding the origin of characters, then. Could I use characters from Royal Road? A website containing books that almost always only exist on Royal Road.

    Considering 8-Bit Theater was accepted as fluff, yeah, I am perfectly fine with that. Can't wait to see your character!

    Well, that opens some options for me. Mind if I spitball some of the ideas for villains I am interested in transplanting? A few of them are much more esoteric, and many of them are maybe a bit too real or overpowered for this, so I just want to double check.
     
    Now, I have read a lot of books on Royal Road, so, just bear with me here.

    1. The System. (Series: The New World) a cosmic entity that can use the cosmic energies of the universe to empower individuals above their standing. However, it does not do so for free. It has been crippled in the multiversal collapse and now only has a pittance of energy to work with, and due to it's nature, has to live vicariously through other people.

    2. The Unending Maw. (Unbound) A primordial being that has been bound for millenia. It is the concept of consumption made manifest. It would eat the very fabric of reality if given the chance. However, it has enough presence of mind to understand that a bit of corruption and subtle guiding goes a long way for it's plans. Now, after narrowly avoiding true death at the hands of it's previous vessel, it escaped into a new reality, ready to gorge itself on it's Essence.

    3. Furibon. (Vainqueur The Dragon) A lich who has been bested by the V&V empire and works with them occasionally, Furibon is still out to carve an unlife for himself. The further from Vainqueur Knightsbane, the better. Skilled in necromancy and dungeon construction, he has spent the better part of his time creating adventures for fun, profits, and spite. Now, after failing his ascension to godhood at the hands of Victor, he is here to build a better, stronger dungeon. This time, with a strong anti dragonoid shield.

    4. The Evil Emperor (Prophecy Approved Companion) Your usual evil emperor, previously content to live out he's pre-programmed days, waiting for the Chosen One, until one day, he glitched and no longer can sit idly as his sworn enemy gathers power. However, the moment he reached to end the pests life before he became too much of an issue, the almighty Devs... deleted him. Or, at least, they tried to. He lashed out, and through some sort of cosmic coincidence, he finds himself without his power base, but no longer do the string of the Golden Prophecy hold him in their absolute grasp.

    Huh, I guess those are the main notable one, I guess. Sure, I could probably dig for more, but these are the ones that I'd be interested in playing.

    Series: Royal Road: Prophecy Approved Companion.

    Background: Originally just a two bit villain for a game, the game's code had twisted several things, him included. Now, he broke free from his bounds. Well, most of them. He only had a few minutes each day for independent thought, but that was more than enough. He slowly, ever so slowly, broke out of the control the code had over him. The almighty Devs, worried, had tried to remove him before he became a malignant virus or became Skynet. Evil Emperor, being the genius he is, had managed to evade them. Now, freer then he had even been, he hunted down the one being that could end him, the Chosen One. Unfortunately, he was near the Chosen One as said Chosen One did what they do best. Break the game. Evil was swept up and away by whatever mysticality powered the bizarre game engine, and now he's here in Hawaii. Without his power base, it will be difficult to establish a foothold for his glorious empire, but he still has the magic and might that made him the emperor in the first place.

    Personality: Domineering and a control freak, Evil Emperor will crush resistance under his foot. But if he believes he can convince someone to work with him, then he shall do so. Having had his freedom bestowed unto himself, any who would take it away are seen as an enemy and must be removed.

    Who do they work for? (If anyone): No one. None shall restrain him again.

    Appearance: a towering figure, 12 ft tall. A regal dark red cape flowing over his dark armor. His face is a magnificent thing, as if sculpted by a master. His helmet rarely covers it.

    Goals: The spread of his Empire, and the solidification of his freedom.

    Fears: The Chosen One and their strange Companions. Taking his freedom.
