Welcome to Card-Magic Quest!
The way this is going to work is a little bit inspired from Slay the spire and various other deckbuilder/rogue-like games I have played and seen.
The Majority of this quest will take place through a Weekly Schedule, where you will allocate some number of actions to various things, and in certain special cases, we will move to a faster paced schedule.
You will start with a Deck of 10 Cards. This is the Smallest Possible deck you may have, unless you specifically find special magic BS that lets you bypass this restriction.
Each turn you will gain 3 Energy and draw 2 cards. Different cards will cost different amounts of energy. Energy is lost at the start of your turn, But cards stay. You may play cards during your turn, Unless it specifies. You currently have a Max hand size of 6 cards, and will discard down at the end of your turn.
You start each day with a grand total of 20 Max Hp. Damage from one fight may carry onto the next!
Within your deck, You have 4 Basic Attack cards, 4 Basic Block cards, and then 2 cards that you will be choosing in a sec from a list of options. When you play a card, it goes to your graveyard, and when you would draw a card, if you run out of cards, I shuffle your graveyard into your library before you draw.
Basic Attack (Attack Type)
Costs, 1 Energy
Basic Attack deals 3 Damage to anything.
Basic Block (Defend Type)
Costs, 1 Energy
Prevent the next 2 Damage dealt to anything until your next turn.
Time to determine your Character.
First, Age range.
Older characters have less potential than younger ones, but also have less personal obligations!
Choose 1

Second, Special Cards
Different special cards have special effects. This will not lock you out of finding the others, but it will take more effort.
Choose 2 (Can be the same)
[ ] Moat (Building Type) | Costs 2 Energy | While I am on the battlefield, Prevent the first point of damage dealt to you each turn. | 5 Health
[ ] Catapult (Building Type) | Costs 2 Energy | At the start of your turn, I deal 1 Damage to any target, I deal 3 damage if I Hit a Player | 2 Health
[ ] Study (Unknown Type) | Costs 1 energy | You draw a card.
[ ] Enhancements (Unknown Type) | Costs 1 energy | Copy target card you have played this turn. You lose life equal to its cost.

Thirdly, You may choose a Trait.
Every protag has something that makes them Extra cool! (These can be upgraded through actions or Achievements)
Choose 1
[ ] Potential. + Will make certain actions easier. + May have consequences. - May have consequences. (Delve into yourself)
[ ] Lucky. + Re-roll your worst roll every week. +You may name a card at the start of each battle, one of the cards you draw out of two will be that card. (Take risks)
[ ] Artifact. + While you have this artifact you make week rolls with advantage. - Greatly Greatly increased Notoriety. - Don't lose it! (Try to Understand)
[ ] Hearty. + You roll First impression rolls with advantage. + You have an additional 5 health, and always start each game with at least 5 health. (Become even more of a Jock)
[ ] Studious. + You roll with Triple advantage for Learning checks. - You start with only 16 Health. (Have you considered Mad Science?)
[ ] Sponsored. + You start with a powerful friend who can get you stuff, Make an additional Special Card choice - They might not be universally liked. (Leverage your connections)

Fourthly, Choose a setting.
Every setting has at least - Magic is real, Cards can be used to do magic, You can use cards to do magic.

[ ] The Great War.
- If you are a Child, you will live to see times of Peace end. If you are a Young Adult, you will live to see the War itself. If you are an Adult, you will live to see the true cost of war.
[ ] The Modern Era.
- If you are a Child, you will live to see the end of a Silver Age. If you are a Young Adult, you will live to see the power of Corporations. If you are an Adult, you will live to see Middle Management (True Horror)
[ ] The True Fantasy
- If you are a Child, you will live to see a great opportunity. If you are a Young Adult, you will live to see The Great Cities. If you are an Adult, You will live to see The Courts of the Kings.
[ ] The Final Frontier
- If you are a Child, you will live to see yourself evacuate your own planet. If you are a Young Adult, you will live to see The first Contacts of many. If you are an Adult, you will live to see Politics (in spaaaaaaaaaaace)
