New COD:AW MP gameplay....which is what around 10% of you will experience when you play. The rest will get campers, screaming children, and rap music played over the mic.

Vertical gameplay really seems to be what developers are going for right now. Probably because it works well with the gunplay of modern shooters, and allows more flexibility in designing areas.

It is gonna make sniping so much more interesting.

Crysis: Call of Halofall: Modern Battlefield.

Still, I expect it to be superior to the same old same old. People asked for change, and heres to hoping it's not just aesthetic.

And, by the way, that sonic shotgun fills me with joy. not sure why, but it just does.

I want one.

Actually looking forward to this. Also just like on SB's thread of this I'm surprised nobody cares about the guy flying past jets using a jet-pack.

Dutyfall? Titancall? I don't care, it looks pretty damn sweet.

The only two things I didn't like were the low TTK (I wish they had higher overall TTK but higher headshot multiplier) and that the Exo-suit isn't featured much in the customization (I wish for this they scrapped perks and have a more customizable exo-suit in place).

Gameplay launch trailer is out:

And now for something completely different: for a while now PC players have been kinda been agitated at how little to no info's been out about the PC version of the game, especially after the disaster that was the PC version of Ghosts.

But after a Google Hangout where all the questions were focused on "where are the PC info", Sledgehammer promised that at the very least they would make sure they would get the game's steam page updated with the proper minimum requirements.

Cut forward a couple days later and this is what the steam's requirements page looks like now:

All that's changed is that they removed the 4GB RAM minimum. :V

Just received the PS4 version in the post (Day Zero) :D, going to use the double XP time for multiplayer. Will play campaign on a later day.

Totalbiscuit's PC port review for single player. Seems to be quite the port, as far as CoD goes.

So about that character voicing, it's kind of like a weird half-way between Modern Warfare and Black Ops. Mitchell, the player character, has a voice and appearance you see in cutscene. The problem is, from what I've seen so far, cutscenes are the only places he speaks. It's strange because certain character dialogue sort of implies Mitchell is saying things to others. One example I can think of is with Will near the end of the first mission.

I guess Sledgehammer was trying to keep the voice acting budget down and didn't want to pay Troy Baker too much.

The 'Press F to pay respects' thing is very self aware. I mean the mission objectives for the first missions are:

- Pay respects
- Meet character
- Save the president

I'm moderately peeved that I only thought of "Fall of Duty" today instead of 3 months ago. :(

Talk about anvilicious. Strikes me as satire...?

There's an actual reason (and it's fairly clever) to have your character do it, so you can look at the stump of his missing arm and it actually very viscerally and beautifully illustrates why he signs up with Atlas. Like Irons said, "we can give you a second chance."

Also Advanced Warfare is pretty self-aware of the implausible wackiness period. You have Impossibly Hardcore North Korea! You have Impossibly Hardcore Super Ecoterrorists! You have Impossibly Hardcore PMC! You have Future Task Force 141 led by Black Captain Price!

Huh. Never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually warming to it a bit.

Campaign gameplay still looks utterly unengaging though. 'Oh, run down this narrow street and shoot these incompetent dudes! Then press F when we say to! Fun!'

I certainly do like the art style though.
