Why hasn't Adam accidentally created living pills by now?
How hasn't Adam already done something like this by accident? I can see him setting up a formation, forgetting about it and finding a new mini civilization that worships him.

This particular example actually occurs within the story I reference for this trip, several times.

Some pills in a hidden realm had been abandoned for thousands of years, turned into tiny animals and stuff in their bottles, including one dude who was like "Don't eat me and I will teach you secret stuff!".

He got eaten.

Another item had a ton of blood-based pills that also contained concepts of Space and Time, which is NEEDED to reach Saint Realm of cultivation. Without that, flying is hard, and locking down the local dimensions is tricky. Those pills all became ghost like things and attacked the spiritual strength of those attempting to consume them.

Anyway, the point:

It. Takes. Time. Even without getting stronger, there is a subtle 'Age == Stronger' concept going on here. Those pills were in sealed bottles to keep them from losing power, yet years and years of... I don't know, self refinement? Had allowed them to gain sentience and so forth.

Adam could cut that time by a lot.... but even if 99% faster it may still take a hundred years or whatever. His memories came back less than a year ago.

Also, I feel I must state it again, Adam isn't entirely happy with the idea of his food screaming. Talking pills==bad, better to rip the energy out directly and not make pseudo life out of your medications.

Just out of curiosity but what is the result of Adam being stuck outside of space and time for thousands of years during his first trip mean now that he is in a world that can use those concepts?

i forget whats the name of the story this arc is based on ??????

It is this one, Invincible.

However, I feel I must add some warnings (no spoilers though):
The Main Character will occasionally do some REAL STUPID SHIT. Like showing off rare, valuable treasure to people for no reason, assuming that he can get rid of witnesses... even though he could easily use other methods to attack, not answer questions about WHAT the rare object is... or even better, LIE. Nope, let's tell the world how awesome this stuff is, I'm sure no one will try to kill me or my people for it!
If this is the story I think it is, at some point... FAR FAR in the future, he leaves behind people he cares for without properly securing them. Twice. Several deaths occur, he learns nothing, and (AGAIN if it is the story I remember), he gets over the issue stupid quick. Like one chapter later from "I WILL AVENGE THEM!" to "Man that sucked."
I just... force myself past those parts. Because I like the Realm itself, the way power is gathered and what advancements mean. Even if the MC occasionally goes FULL retard.
Starts strong though.

Unknown for now. Won't matter for a long time either, first have to break out of Tenth Order Houtian.

Yeah, your explanation just reminded me why I stopped reading it.

Yeah, to this day this is the only story that had me comment a MASSIVE rant on one of the chapters and nearly walk away. God I was furious.

What was worse, I am pretty sure the Author just... got rid of some characters. They had been around for so long it was annoying for him to update everyone, so... snip snip.

Sorry if it has already been answered before, but I just finished reading the whole thing again and there is a question I have to ask: Was the multi-arms thing really meant to happen from the very beginning? Because I don't know if the effect is voluntary or not, but the progression really underline Adam's mental evolution from "random human inserted into Worm reality through CYOA mechanic" to "yep, he's well on his way to be a Random Omnipotent Being"...

It's slow going, more apparent when read as a whole instead as with the wait between chapters, but it's here. Going from "have to be careful, don't want extra limbs", to "well, I'm a plant here, vines are normal", to "extra arms can be useful sometimes" until finally you reach the part where he heals Khepri-Taylor and it's "the more the better"...

As I said, whether intentional or not, I found it really well done and subtle.

Though, now that I think of it, I have a second question: will we ever see SSS wake up? Would be interesting to see what THAT does to Adam.

I'm finding hard to understand why he can never "appear" like a normal human even as scatter brained as he is he's got to know normal humans don't grow extra arms or blue flames. as this story goes on it seems like his powers have more and more control over his life .

In this case it's just that he never actually was human in the first place. Seeing as he's literally one of the only surviving fragments of a really dickish ROB that got mangled.

he started as a unaligned uber tiny fragment of a sadistic evil rob that got karma rammed so far into its existence that all that was left was a almost failed cyoa fragment in essence he was a new being

His morphic field is neutrally charged and blank, there is no mechanism for hysterisis.

So who wants to bet Adam will accidently Yggdrasil trees?

Taking bets everyone.
What odds are you giving?

A standard human body can only contain so much energy before it starts straining. And any exotic energy will react and case effects. Combined with Adam originally being a ROB in the first place, plus I would guess a lot of the 'remain normal appearance' would be a desire that the subconsious acts to enforce but Adam's mentality isn't like that

I can't wait to see Adam and Tianshi make their garden. I doubt that his garden will turn into mini people for awhile. What will freak everyone else out though is his garden being invaded by those elder plant people because his garden is a nicer place for various reasons.

That and they'd start worshipping Tianshi. She's the one with the natural energy and bonded with a plant spirit.

Now can you see it? There are 99 guards, but they are scared off due to any of those high level plant folk coming along and making themself at home.

I kept thinking that he'd invent/create Harvest Moon harvest spirits or rune factory runeys by accident.

💡IDEA💡

One tree with countless crazy herbs growing from each branch, the tree eats the spirits of all the ancient herbs but leaves aged qi rich plant matter behind hence no veggies running away and the tree grows larger and healthier eating the spirit to produce more qi and make older and more potent herbs on its branches, that upon awakening a spirit or conscious is consumed to make more qi in an infinite compounding cycle of terrifying spiritual parasitism and growth that looks like an eldritch mass of leafy vine/root/branch things endlessly looping upon eachother (that cant move from its location) yet coiling and writhing upon itself in constant mind breaking motion

Funniest part is that the "tree" is basicaly an odd weed he spotted walking through the garden that looked like all the other weeds.

Ouroboros root or something, considered trash cuz it eats itself no matter what the gardeners try

Cuz he swallowed all the seeds he got and vommits it onto the root, having created another parasitic plant (coated in binding/blue energy to kickstart growth) that allows symbiosis everyone thinks adams totally nuts or sick

The roots form qi gathering formations all around itself that anchor it while feeding all the herbs on the branches and every time the tree advances the roots form larger more complex formations circling the tree in an ever growing spiral, while the crazy loops up top with the leaves form formations for each herbs ideal conditions

Aka samsarra tree or divine tree of infinite refinement

And it never becomes sentient, because when it forms a concious/spirit or whatever it gets consumed (hopefully) to boost the trees qi growing larger and more complex but never self aware

And adam shall name it Divtir and treat it like a child just in case it ascends to some heavenly realm or somehow actually gains self awareness

And Divtir is best tree cuz it drops its fruit (qi rich aged plant matter) to bud more growths and eat more plant souls

🤘🤘All Metal All The Time🤘🤘

Basically the chaos god of plantlife

Ripping souls to grow more souls in infinite plant genocide

The comment about Adam and the waste energies makes me think that those separator tubes could be useful there.

With a critical mass of cultivators using purified energy circles connected by the tubes, it could be possible to move waste energy from each of them to the person who uses them the best.

It just hit me so hard that I actually facepalmed. Does this sound familiar:

What are the chances Adam discovers some if not all 16 of the other flame types?
Would that mean Adam has Rain and possibly Sky flames? The Harmonisation / collection thing of Sky Flames fits, and the Tranquility from Rain might explain some of his reaction to a lot of things most people, even in this Xianxia world, find weird or disturbing.

Edit: Anyone want to take a guess at what Flame Types other characters would have if they get them? The two Simurgh's (Simmy and Sammy I think they were called to differentiate), would almost certainly have Mist, which is terrifying to think about, but anyone else?
