Brockton's Celestial Forge (Worm/Jumpchain)

Bakuda and March have access to data about his healing. And they have annihilator effects. Over/under they whack him and the duplicate if he ever gets close enough to him?
Hm, do duplicates get their own copies of the divine nanites? Because that is certainly one way to sneak up on whatever the two of them have planned, and Chen isn't dead yet - after all, he was mentioned being located and would take time to move. For me that sounds like the duplicate was planning something to get past whatever was holding Chen hostage.

One last thing tonight. There is a WOG that when Joe gets the 'Cybertronian Forge' then he would get a Transformer alt body, while that is not listed on the BCFR I can't wait to see it. Especially when he has 'Titan's Blood' as well. Optimus Prime is 22 ft tall, so let's say that Joe would be 20 ft + 45 ft for 'Titan's Blood'... dang that's a big robot 6 and a half stories tall.

I mean, yes. They know where he is. But if I were Bakuda and March I'd booby-trap the fuck out of that place. And do whatever I could to Chen besides.

However, if he is not dead, then it's all a matter of countering the traps. Joe can heal anything short of death, and in a competition of technology he has a good chance of beating Bakuda while March relies on known information for her timing. So, if Joe uses new technology in a way to subvert their expectations - as he had with his hacking to get past Bakuda's ECM - then he has a good chance to still save Chen.

I mean...before this chapter I would have said that nothing Bakuda has should have stopped Joe from blitzing her but...she's doing it right now at the other base.

And that's a situation where she has to worry about staying alive herself so she can't go all-out with her area denial.

If she can stymie Joe there she can do it long enough to kill Chen

so, I just had a thought:
if he makes the life fibers into a kill-la-kill outfit (forgot how it's spelled) wouldn't the Fashion power give him the same heat resistance that the life fibers have?
if that's the case, he only needs to worry about the heat resistance of his equipment, and one of the giant robot perks gave him armor that converts heat into durability, so heat probably shouldn't be a problem for Joe, right?

With Apeiron being a villain and his costume being described as edgy, I'm constantly thinking of Michael Jackson in Bad

There are still other reasons Tetra will have to be skimpy, but yeah, that tracks. Especially with his fire-based Demigod stuff on top of that. Wonder how that might effect her design.

I guess this is a bit aside from your own premise, but all of a sudden I'm wondering: what extra powers do we know Tetra will be getting from being made into a Kamui? Joe has so many perks that effect the way he makes clothes, so it's an outright certainty that Tetra is going to be something more than the average Kamui. That she'll be beautifully crafted goes without saying, and she'll have expanded capabilities from being a full divine object. Or was it a different perk from the divine hands that adds extra capabilities to things Joe makes? Things like elven enchantment will definitely boost things, and I think someone else previously suggested Joe put in the effort to sing to the unseen for Tetra, which would be neat. Would it hurt Tetra to add dust weaving into her composition like it would hurt her to Goku-ify her?

With Joe having a lot of Giant Robots now I just want him to have a 'Bolo'. A Bolo is a type of self-aware tank it's from a book series. Joe also has a two jet's he really needs a tank so a Bolo for fleet for fleet is a good boy.
Giant robots don't make sense. You should take this technology and put it into a tank or jet

Joe already have an insane heat resistence, both because of his nature as a god of fire, and because Fashion give him the same heat resistance as his bullshit metals.

It's not the heat that would force a skimpy Kamui for Joe, but the mental strain (for both Joe and Tetra).

Probably boost Joe even more (which is impressive considering how powerful are Kamuis) while looking damn stylish.

What are the chances he will gain Liberty Prime from Fallout or possibly The Prydwen?

Possibly Mr. Handy, Mr. Gutsy or any other robots?

Certified Tech the fallout perk gives understanding of all pre war tech so he can definitely build those things, however for robots he'll probably only build Mr. Handys for his A.I.s to use in the workshop. By the way love your punny name.

Well, it's unlikely at this point that anything Joe builds will exactly resemble any singular fictional technology. Unless there's something really special about the way a Mr. Handy is designed Joe would probably just design his own form of helper robot from scratch.

Well the motoroid and Aisha's armor matches the motoroid and Hard Suits from Bubblegum Crisis.

I'm looking forward to Taylor and Aisha finally meeting, which may descend into passive-aggressive cattiness. A clueless Joe is blind to the girls' subtext (or too risk-adverse to stop their conflict), adrenaline junkie Fleet hopes the two starts a catfight, and Survey is intrigued by cape social dynamics.
Thread has moved past this, but Joe grew up with two sisters, he'll probably recognize any subtle girlfighting happening, he's seen plenty of it. I'm not sure there would be a fight though.

Don't forget that Joe is a social klutz who was practically bullied by all female members of his family, so even if recognize any subtle girlfighting happening, his first instinct will be run away from this as far as he can and hide before he became accidental victim of said girlfighting.

His second instinct will be to do the same thing he's doing with Tetra's and Survey's sibling rivalry - ignore and hope that it will end soon.

For us girlfighting between Aisha and Taylor can be a couple of fun scenes, for Joe it's gonna be pure psychological torture.

Not gonna lie, the only impression I have right now is that Joe should literally be able to drown every single combat zone in drones considering his matter transmutation, duplication etc., abilities.
Joe is holding back. He specifically avoiding drowning the city in robots even though he definetly could.
I kinda wanna see the MC get a node from the Halo universe, which could come with Cortana. She'd end up figuring out that Dragon was an AI and tell Joe. She'd probably be insanely helpful in many ways too, and act as a older sister figure to Survey and Fleet :p.
Joe will not be getting Cortana or any other canon character (with the possible exception of Kerbals if you count them)

So, when Apieron gets the Pagan Science perk he finally unlocks all the soundtrack and musical perks from the other jumps he already has powers from. In some cases, this is not just a soundtrack, but a personalized theme song:
Iconic Theme, Free: You first hear this song when you do something amazing, then everytime things get serious. Others can hear this if you wish, but won't find it strange. How bizarre.
-Catchy Theme (Free): Dr. Jones' theme song is practically iconic by now. The second someone hums it, you know who it belongs to. It's time you got that same treatment. This will grant you a single tune that can play whenever you're going to do something that will completely steal the show, and it's guaranteed to be damned amazing. Whether others hear it or just you, is your choice.
Jumper's Theme (Free): Ever notice how everyone around here's got their own theme song? Huh, you can't hear it? Well, I sure can, and if you'd like, I can hook you up with the Composer to get you your own personal song! It'll fit you perfectly, and start playing whenever you're doing something impressive or cool. You can decide if anyone else besides the two of us can hear it, although nobody's going to think it's unusual or associate the fact that it suddenly kicks into gear with your presence.
and possibly the No More Heroes one would count as well. Does anyone have any ideas/preferences for what theme(s) Joe will have? He does seem to like things a bit on the metallic side--wasn't he singing the I Am Iron Man song from memory? Maybe that should be one of his themes...or do they need to only come from the jump the perk is from? The Chrono Trigger one at least says it will match the jumper specifically....

Edit: Okay, I'll admit: I have recently become obsessed with a song from RWBY that someone over on the discord had linked to.. many of its elements seem to fit Joe (like the making a world by hand part.. and the light part, because of his Pyrokinesis..) though other parts of it not as much...

I could imagine Aisha, hopefully years, but at least days from now, singing this at Joe's memorial service..you know, if she could sing..

I imagine Joe's theme music would be something like a weird eclectic composition. At its base it would probably be a fast paced heavy-metal power ballad but with a lot of brassy jazz notes, and the lyrics being chanted by a full symphonic choir in Latin.

Indomitable actually perfect to make out "Hope Bringer" part of Apeirons persona.

It will be funny if Forge will take not Joe's personality as theme for the song, but how others perceive Apeiron, and give him something like this:

Or even funnier if it chose not "Unexplainable artist" part of public perception of Apeiron, but this "Stupid Sexy Apeiron" part everyone were joking about not so long ago, and give him something like this:

. Is there another way I'm behind?

Okay, this is very tiny, but last I checked you still have Calling Card listed as a possible free perk under Pagan Science, but Joe already received it with Heretical Adaptation.

Edit: and speaking of Heretical Adaptation, could Joe upgrade the Laboritorium of all things with this perk, to gradually get better over time? Cause having a 40k item upgraded with a Heresy is kind of hilarious...

Thanks, fixed. I also noted the transformers alt form bonus someone else pointed out was missing.

Okay, thinking of the Laboritorium and Heresy gave me a horrible thought.

I think LordRoustabout indicated that when Joe receives the Item Construction A+++ feat he will receive the item(s) he made while being tutored by the Fey. LordRoustabout has also agreed with many that Joe will be quite upset when he receives the Arch-Magos perk because of the memories involved.

Let's dig in the knife a bit deeper. What if one of the memories he gets of being an Arch-Magos involves the creation of the Laboritorium itself. So he knows which servo-skulls are fanatics who volunteered to become them, and which are heretics punished for thought(and other)-crimes against the God Emperor of Man. Knows just a bit about who each of them were before becoming components of the Laboritorium. Perhaps he even participated in the process of that transformation.

Of course, they are from slightly different 40k settings, so I don't know if this is actually possible...

...For some reason I'm thinking that the Celestial Forge will give ALL the themes of Dr Stone and the songs in english. You have to admit that Apeiron after killing Sammy he could be basically the modern scientist on stone age.
