The stations of Worm fanfiction seem to love digging their way into people's skulls, don't they? Granted, Lord's have been much less forced and, IMO, a helluva lot better than other fics in that regard.
TBF those aren't even Worm things; that's all standard comic book stuff. Just look at Spider-Man - Piggot and Vista are currently duking it out to get the J Jonah Jameson "never believes the hero is anything but a villain" role. Nothing new under the sun, and all that.
I feel like Vista would have to be some other kind of character because she's a kid. To some extent J Jonah Jameson is somewhat defined by being an adult and having some power.
Oh, point. Also I completely forgot about Carol Dallon. She should be on that list too.
I dont think Piggot gives that much of a shit. Her primary concern as of now is surviving fallout of PRT ENE collapsing onto her, I doubt she cares whether or not Apeiron actually evil. We havent seen that much of her here in any meaningful conversation that wasnt strictly business (especially none of her inner thoughts) but from what I remember from canon she isnt really the type to hate villains because they are evil. Or hate at all imo, I think she doesnt like a lot of things and people but she lacks that visceral hatred (like Vista's or Carol's) towards most of these things.
I don't even think that she cares about the distinction between Heros and Villains; I think that she just cares that people are daring to be something other then soldiers or civilians.
And any of that contradicts my point how exactly? She is pragmatic, her current goal is to avoid fallout as much as possible. If turning 180 and declaring Apeiron paragon of Heroism on Earth would get her out she would do it in a heartbeat

because I was talking about the Piggot's primary goal part by elaborating upon it and making it more accurate I wasn't talking about her thinking him evil at all.

Joe just said that he was using off the shelf components to apply SSS principles and the configuration of them was what made the "magic" happen, he just didn't understand how exactly, or any way to develop the technology in other directions.
