Blooming From A Seed To A Tree (Project Moon Crossover Quest)

Yep
You do get the ego suit with the weapon, ego gift included..... and other details depending on how it manifests
Or if you get knocked out of the driver's seat
Especially if you get knocked out of the driver's seat
Things get ugly
Both metaphorically and literally

but Apoc bird gets too much attention. Same with the magical girls. I want to give my HEs and TETHs some love, dammit! Laetitia, Forsaken Murderer, Red Shoes, Der Freischütz, Funeral of Dead Butterflies! Give them a chance to be in the spotlight!

Alright, you've convinced me to change my vote.

[x] I am coming to you. You, who will be reduced to ash like me.

Because everything here needs to be cremated, asap.

Scorched Girl is even based on a Fairytale. So we might be able to summon Nursery Rhyme or Hans Christen Anderson once we kill fish eyes.

summoning Hans will be very fucking funny.
Since if we are going for the fairytale abno collection, then there's a quite a few fairytales abnormalities that can be attributed to him.
I wonder how would monsters based on his story killing people weights on his conscience, It's gonna be fun.

Fairytale, Scripts, Movies, Novels
Aren't they all the same thing at the end of the day
Are they not all stories hanging in the void by threads?
And don't worry
You'll be calling forth servants
Though not in any way you expect I suspect

All slots are already filled, sadly. And we are not Caster'y enough to break the slot system, I think.

Hans really would've been interesting in a combination with Fairy Tale EGO's, tho. Both character-wise and for mechanical synergies.
You technically can fit in to the slot of caster, even if imperfectly though it would bind you to that shape until you get the other templates
But do pay heed to the fact the war has yet to truly begin, and you can scratch off a name to join
You're about to actually
Caster would be imperfect, but the role of master, of manager
You have the Authority for it, as much as it is your Authority to call forth that which was priorly immaterial

...hmm, We can probably dangle the stageplay of Lobotomy Corporation in front of Shakespeare to lure him in hun?
lmao, what fun.

Oh god no, there is absolutely enough drama with just what we have. Nasu Shakespeare just gonna create aggravating shitstirring. If we are joining the war as either master or servant, then at least get a partner that isn't in for it to cause maximum pointless suffering.

Now I am just imaginging X litteraly dangling it on a fishing pole and Shakespeare comes jumping out of the summoning circle chanting "Mine Mine Mine!" like the birds from Nemo.

Thankfully your nature allows you a limited degree on who gets to be your servant
Afterall It is part of your Authority as Manager

If gilles gets some twisted idea that we're a younger form of Jeanne from us being a blond girl with purple highlights with light-based weaponry, it'll be hilarious, especially because X has no idea who Jeanne even is.

[X] I am coming to you. You, who will be reduced to ash like me.

Just found this quest and color me intrigued. Tempted to break down the options presented for narrative hooks.

[ ] In the name of Love and Justice~ Here comes Magical Girl!

Queen of Hatred is popular for a reason, but I get the impression that in picking this, X is going to separate the well intentioned Manager from the vicious part they played in Ayin's Script; perhaps even create two distinct personalities. This has the potential to give X an incomplete memory of everything they've been through, as what was considered good and just gets separated from what was bad and cruel, maybe have certain memories scrubbed and reconfigured to match the worldview of both personalities. Maybe X will want to be a hero in a world where Good and Evil are quite tangible things compared to the City, but there exists the same need to have the fight for Good and Evil be validated or else X may make it relevant themselves. Or alternately, X may see themselves as the villain who is supposed to be killed.

[ ] People have been committing sins since long ago. "Why do they commit sins, knowing it's wrong?"
In terms of practicality, Punishing Bird only shows their teeth if the poor victim tries to retaliate, but I'm not sure if their Beak E.G.O. can do the same thing. At most it seems to be a deterrent, unless a narrative beat takes over for effectiveness. Narratively though, X would just be content to administer punishment and then walk away, regardless if the victim is alive or dead. Maybe X will want to spell out what wrongdoing they are redressing, but unless provoked, they will solely be focused on what bad things someone has done, deal just enough harm to make their victim aware of it, and be done. That flies out of the window if the victim fights back, then it's shoot to kill. Might have the potential to get a lot worse if the other Birds are involved, but that's a whole 'nother can of worms.

[ ] Where does one go when they die?
Funeral of Dead Butterflies brings up something that might be interesting to explore. As the Manager all the deaths accrued in their tenure can be pointed right at X; nobody does something without the Manager's say-so. Doubly so, Tiphereth A had been as much aware of these deaths in Central Command. These deaths are accepted by everyone but few really mourned, save for perhaps Tiphereth B. But in this, could an X bothered by everything they've done mourn, for those who died on their watch and otherwise. This opens the door for empathy depending on whether it is nurtured, and perhaps tether X to events on a more personal level compared to others.

[ ] I am coming to you. You, who will be reduced to ash like me.

Reading the E.G.O. description for Scorched Girl, I discovered something that might be a red flag:

Fourth Match Flame said:
The fire roars and burns like the first flame.

The light of the match will not go out until it has burned away happiness, warmth, light, and all the other good things of the world; there's no need to worry about it being quenched.

The experiments with lighting the matches could not be completed without collateral damage. Those who are burned will feel infinite hatred towards the world until the last flicker of their consciousness is snuffed out
.

Taking the Scorched Girl would mean literally burning away what enjoyment or satisfaction that lies in their hearts until nothing but charred husks of hatred remain. And this X would be perfectly fine in lighting that flame for all the suffering they've endured, ten thousand years of suffering from two different positions. This would be an angry X, a vindictive X that's eager to strike at anything that triggers their time as Manager. It differs from Queen of Hatred in that while she would kill them because they are evil, Scorched Girl would kill them out of spite. Whatever is happening is going to be the playground for this X to work out all their issues.

If I had to choose one of these, it'd be this:

[X] Where does one go when they die?

Godspeed.

Indeed
Like we said
Their is will and instincts in the EGO despite their origins being high in the trunk of the tree
There is WEIGHT
who do you want to be in the drivers seat when X himself can not hold it?
(Cackles like a loon)

[X] People have been committing sins since long ago. "Why do they commit sins, knowing it's wrong?"
[X] In the name of Love and Justice~ Here comes Magical Girl!

If we get all the birds do we get Apoc bird?

[X] Where does one go when they die?

I was going to choose MGoL, but then I remembered that all Servants are dead people, by definition. Seeing how Ghost Liners (an archaic name for Heroic Servants) interact with the Funeral interests me. Especially since this kind of conceptual matchups is what Fate is made of.
